As a devoted cello player, Anabel is the\u00a0vice-president of the Aspiring Artists’ Sinfonia:<\/p>\n

Why did you want to apply to IMSA? What did you expect it to be like?<\/strong><\/p>\n

“I’ve known about IMSA ever since I was in second grade–I was always going to the summer camps the Academy organizes. I remember that the IMSA kids were very good counselors, and I wanted to be just like them. That’s why I came to IMSA, for the people.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Now that you actually got into IMSA, did it meet your expectations?<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Yeah, I’d say the people here are all interesting, though I had to get used to being away from home. “<\/em><\/p>\n

What was your most memorable experience at IMSA?<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Clash. It was this time where these seniors who were all great leaders took charge and arranged the events. I really bonded with my hall.”<\/em><\/p>\n

What advice would you give to incoming sophomores?<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Come to IMSA with an open mind. Be prepared to explore every bit of it. It’s not what you think it is.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Do you have any Life Hacks? What do you do to keep organized?<\/strong><\/p>\n

“I use a planner. I find the computer too hard to lug around.”<\/em><\/p>\n
