With Valentine\u2019s day right around the corner, you might be thinking it\u2019s time to pick out a gift for your special someone, best friend, or even yourself. But alas! All of the Target trips are full. However, there\u2019s no need to panic since there are so many events and creative spaces available right on campus! Even if you missed the Senior Class Club (SCC) and Junior Class Club (JCC) serenading deal, there are many more for those who need a last-minute gift. <\/span><\/p>\n

JCC and SCC Valentine\u2019s Dance<\/strong><\/h4>\n

If there\u2019s really someone you want to be direct with, invite them to the dance on February 11th! The theme is Love in Paris, so there will surely be sparks flying! Tickets are priced at $10 and can be purchased during Midday during the week of February 6\u201310. <\/span><\/p>\n

UNICEF Valentine\u2019s Treat Fundraiser<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Want to give or get some yummy treats? On February 13, UNICEF is hosting a Valentine\u2019s Day Treat Fundraiser during Midday! UNICEF will be selling cake pops ($2 each), hot chocolate bombs ($3 each), and chocolate strawberries arranged in a bouquet ($5 per bouquet)! You’ll also be able to write a note with your purchase. Your note and the treat will both be delivered on Valentine\u2019s Day to your Valentine\u2019s residence hall!<\/span><\/p>\n

Crochet Club<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Have you seen all of those cute DIY projects online like crocheting gifts? Well, there\u2019s a club at IMSA that will help you make something beautiful and last forever! Go to Crochet Club\u2019s Valentine\u2019s Day Event on February 13th at 4:30 in the Math Study Area! You will be given the materials and directions to crochet a rose or lavender for that special someone. <\/span><\/p>\n

MakerSpace<\/strong><\/h4>\n

If you want to make someone heartfelt, unique, and easy, head to the MakerSpace to print adorable stickers and print a cool 3D shape to let your creativity show! Stickers are perfect for your crafty and simple friends or partner. You could print hearts, your names, animals, or whatever they enjoy! 3D printing is also a super impressive and fun gift idea. Print jewelry, useful organizers, or an adorable statue of the two of you! Whatever it may be, this personalized gift will make anyone swoon. <\/span><\/p>\n

Homemade Card<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This might seem a little obvious, but anyone appreciates this classic gesture. Add some calligraphy, bubble letters, or printed pictures if you can. You could even try making a pop-up card for some flare! Whatever it may be, as long as you put in the effort, this gift will never go wrong. There are only a few days left until Valentine\u2019s Day, so make sure you don\u2019t wait till the last minute to get a gift!
