Both players have their fans and detractors, but when you look at the numbers and careers, it’s hard to deny that Jordan is the true GOAT.

Let’s start with career statistics. LeBron has certainly put up impressive numbers with career averages of 27.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game, but he’s no match for Jordan’s career averages of 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 5.3 assists per game. Sure, LeBron might have more assists, but can he really compare to Jordan’s ability to score? Of course, it’s worth noting that LeBron James does have one impressive accolade that Jordan doesn’t—he’s currently number one all-time in points scored in NBA history. However, this proves nothing but Lebron’s longevity and doesn’t make him the greatest player to ever touch a basketball.

When it comes to accolades, Jordan is the clear winner. Six NBA championships, five MVP awards, and a Defensive Player of the Year award? LeBron can’t touch that. Plus, let’s not forget about Jordan’s iconic shoe line—Lebron could never be that iconic. Everything Lebron does is to try and match Jordan: the chalk toss, the number 23, and Space Jam!

Ok, all jokes aside, Jordan had a certain swagger and confidence that made him stand out on the court. He wasn’t afraid to take the big shots, and he always seemed to rise to the occasion in clutch situations. LeBron, on the other hand, has been criticized for passing the ball too much in key moments. I mean, come on, LeBron, if you want to be the GOAT, you’ve got to take the shot! And, let’s not forget about the impact that Jordan had on the game of basketball. His style of play and iconic moments have inspired generations of players and fans alike. LeBron is certainly a great player, but has he really had the same level of impact on the game? I don’t think so.

While LeBron James is certainly a great player, he will have to settle for that number 2 spot. It’s clear that Michael Jordan is the true GOAT of basketball. His statistics, accolades, and impact on the game make him stand out above the rest. Plus, let’s be real—Jordan just had a certain swag that LeBron can’t match. So sorry, LeBron fans—it’s time to accept that MJ is the one and only GOAT.

When it comes to the age-old debate over the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) in basketball, two players often come up: Michael Jordan and LeBron…

[12
2639,3452,1711,4118,1469,1057
3969
post-36561","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-opinions","tag-basketball","tag-goat","tag-lebron-james","tag-michael-jordan","tag-opinions-2","tag-sports-2
["GET
