Summer is approaching, which means we are (hopefully) going to have <\/span>eternal sunshine<\/span><\/i> instead of gray, cloudy skies! As we look forward to <\/span>brighter days ahead<\/span><\/i>, our four octave queen Ariana Grande has released new tracks to <\/span>eternal sunshine<\/span><\/i>, her album that released on March 8, 2024. The deluxe album, titled <\/span>eternal sunshine deluxe: brighter days ahead<\/span><\/i>, has six tracks to binge listen to! In this article, I give my opinion and rating on the songs.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cintro (end of the world) – extended\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The beginning of the song starts off just like the original \u201cIntro (end of the world)\u201d song. However, the second half of the song is the extended part, and in my opinion, I think it\u2019s very unnecessary. It feels very dragged out, and I personally preferred the original \u201cIntro (end of the world).\u201d While I liked the second half by itself, it didn\u2019t feel like it belonged to the extended version. Overall, I\u2019d rate it a 6\/10.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201ctwilight zone\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I really enjoyed listening to this track! I think that it has a unique vibe, and the title \u201ctwilight zone\u201d is really fitting for it. The song feels very ethereal, and would be a good listen for studying. The beat feels a bit like \u201cSave your Tears,\u201d but the backing vocals really make the song stand out. This track was probably my favorite out of the six ones released, and I would give it a 10\/10.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cwarm\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t really like the introduction of this song, but I thoroughly enjoyed the chorus! It has that same feathery and ethereal feel that \u201ctwilight zone\u201d had which I appreciated. I personally didn\u2019t really like the melody in the verses or the bridge much. They weren\u2019t bad, I just didn\u2019t appreciate them as much as I did the chorus. If you enjoyed listening to \u201cdon\u2019t wanna break up again\u201d from <\/span>eternal sunshine<\/span><\/i>, then you\u2019ll definitely like this song! I\u2019d give it an 8\/10.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cdandelion\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This track does something unique, and starts off with a French horn solo. The solo felt very jazzy, and while I enjoyed the solo by itself, it didn\u2019t really work with the beat and the vocals. Overall, I didn\u2019t enjoy the song as much as I did the other six songs, and it was my least favorite. The brass elements in the background along with the bass in the background didn\u2019t feel cohesive to me. I\u2019d give this song a 4\/10<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cpast life\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This song has some strings in the background, and I slightly preferred them over the brass in \u201cdandelion.\u201d However, I didn\u2019t like the melody very much, and it didn\u2019t feel very unique. The strings felt out of place, and overall the whole song didn\u2019t feel cohesive. When Grande starts singing, it starts off strong, but as the song progresses, it\u2019s not something that I\u2019d listen to regularly. I\u2019d give the song a 5\/10.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHampstead\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The piano at the beginning of the song is very fitting, and adds a nice touch. This song feels very sentimental, and Grande\u2019s voice fits nicely with the piano. If you enjoyed \u201cimperfect for you\u201d then you\u2019ll definitely like \u201cHampstead.\u201d The distortion of the piano is a nice effect, and the bass added towards the middle of the song is also very cool! I would give this song a 9\/10.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall, Ariana Grande\u2019s deluxe album is a banger, and in my opinion, it\u2019s very worthwhile giving it a listen! \u201ctwilight zone\u201d and \u201cwarm\u201d are both very fitting for this upcoming summer.
