Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a Relationship Movie

Love is in the air in the IRC and we invite you to stop by the circulation desk to check out the relationship DVDs on display to celebrate Valentine’s Day.  If you’re in the mood for romance, we’ve got DVDs that celebrate a love relationship as part of an era in  history ( “Dr. Zhivago,” “Out of Africa” or “The Young Victoria”). There’s fantasy and love (“Lars and the Real Girl,” “Edward Scissorhands” or “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”) and musicals (“Hairspray,” “Across the Universe” and “Once”) and even sports (“Love and Basketball”).

For the literary minded, we’ve got Jane Austen love stories (“Becoming Jane”, “Emma”, “Sense and Sensibility” and “Pride and Prejudice”) and love stories about or written by notable authors (“The English Patient,” “The Importance of Being Earnest,” “Roxanne” and “Shakespeare in Love”).

There are contemporary stories (“500 Days of Summer”) and an environmental tale wrapped around a love story (“Big Miracle”).

We invite young lovers and the romantic at heart to stop by the IRC and pick a romantic movie from the display to check out and enjoy this Valentine’s Day!
