2025 Underclassmen Wills Part 2

Welcome to the 2025 Underclassmen Wills!

It’s been a wild ride for our seniors over their three years at IMSA. 55 underclassmen and more than 50,000 words later, it’s clear that we have much to say about our amazing seniors (now alumni) in the Class of 2025! We apologize for the delay, but we promise that it was worth the wait. With that, grab some popcorn, because The Acronym is beyond excited to finally give you all this year’s Underclassmen Wills!

All of the wills from Jasper Hlavac to Vishruth Pesala are on this page, and all of the wills from Abbi Kinsland to Isaac Lee can be found here.

Jasper Hlavac

To Greenley (Greebles), I will you functioning body parts, but more importantly, the ability to help chronically ill people like us. I know you’re going to do great things in the pre-med/medical field, and I can’t wait to see how you can help better the lives of so many people. I have had so much fun with you this year, and I wish you even more fun in your college years. I love you, and I can’t wait to see what you do with your life next.

To Semi and Gaby (I’m putting you together because you’re always a pair), I will you both the ability to kill bugs and spiders. I also will you guys the best of luck in college, and in life in general. You have both been great friends (and math study buddies), and I hope you go on to spread that help and joy to everyone else who decides to become your friends. (Semi, I also will you infinite stuffies, and Gaby, I will you infinite math knowledge).

To Erin, I will you the ability to continue with theater and be your funny self. I know you are going into psych (congrats BTW), but I also know how much fun it has been to do theater/tech with you. You are funny and sarcastic and always manage to make things funny even if they aren’t. Wherever your dreams may take you, I hope you never lose that side of yourself. Now, go do great things and have fun, and don’t leave me “waiting” for news on how you’re doing (You should get the reference. Also, don’t become a pancake like Polities on your journey, please)!

Jessica Jiang

To Caitlyn, I will you the best of luck in college (although I know you won’t need it) and very delicious fruit. You made C-Wing feel like home since the beginning of the year. Thank you for being so supportive, kind, and sweet. I’m going to miss all the tea you spilled with Kelsie and I and our impromptu chats in the hallway. Thank you for all your wise advice, and best of luck in college. Please keep in touch!!

To Lily, Josie, and Haoran, I will you all unlimited Baja Blasts. Thank you all for such an amazing year with ASIA. I’ll never forget all the fun we had together as a board, especially with our post-Lunar and post-Night Market food rounds. You all are such talented and passionate leaders that I have no doubt you’re going to do amazing things in the future. I hope you have an amazing time in college!!

To Aahana, Aarushi, and Fiyin, I will you all the best uni housing you can get. You guys made me feel so welcome in C-Wing through our post-ten check and waiting-for-the-microwave chats. Thank you for all the advice and laughs you guys gave me. Good luck in college and whatever paths you choose to take!

To Richard, I will you more research opportunities at Argonne (and maybe Yale???). I lowkey forget you’re my Big Sib sometimes, but thank you for being a great Lin Alg tablemate and Spec Fic co-survivor. I have really enjoyed your debates with Andrew and your mid-class chess games. Thank you for all the advice you gave me at the beginning of soph year, and good luck in your freshman year of college!

Jonathan Handjojo

To Shrikar Dulam, I will you ⅔ of a Skittles bag. I’ve never been one for many words, but there are just too many things I could say about how great you’ve been. Thank you for always carrying me in PChem and SciOly, it’s actually insane how little I have done to help you because you are just better. Hopefully, those E&M quests made up for it. I hope you can find some fun physics research at UIUC so you can create a teleporter and I can visit you.

To the rest of the 04 C Wing up-quad, I will you infinite time to brain rot. Since, for you guys, your brain rot is directly correlated to your brain power, maybe after all that time, you guys will finally figure out what happened with the hole in C Wing’s study room.

To Josefh Hernandez, I will you the student parent handbook. You’ve been a great HCL, and this year you’ve definitely made 05 the place to be with the Casino Nights. You left me some big shoes to fill, but I’ll do my best to make 05 even better next year.

To 05 RSLs, I will you all more gambling. Ibrahim, I hope you continue to cook throughout college and continue to dance, don’t ever lose your passion for your hobbies. Xander and Evan, I hope you guys can find more people to play ultimate frisbee with at college. Diego, I honestly don’t know what you do, but keep being a chill guy.

To my fellow SciOly Captains, I will you all freedom from trivia. Ian, I hope no one at college cuts you in line, and you keep being a living meme. Dylan, I hope you stay chronically offline so we can preserve how free from rot you are. Aahana, although I’ve barely interacted with you (infinite distance away from bio), you’ve always been a super nice person to talk to. Aarushi, thank you for always covering for optics, and I hope you won’t have to do anything remotely as jank as our laser maze setup in college.

To Joshua Mu, I will you more Minecraft chemistry mods. I haven’t talked with you much, but you’re a funny guy and cracked at chem, so keep it up. Maybe you should stay away from the brain rot a bit more, though. I will do my best to lead SciOly with the most goofy builds.

To Kyle Elzy, I will you another year at IMSA. In all seriousness, you’re a really chill and funny guy, don’t lose that about yourself when you hit the college grind. Try to go touch some more grass. Unfortunately, Haydn will keep you here for another year, so I guess it’s time for you to suffer with his rot in Theory of Analysis.

To Yash and Krish, I will you two less jank code. That’s it really. Well, maybe you guys should also get some more build experience in college, the doinker is just the first step guys.

To Brian Leong, I will you a hololive poster (courtesy of Alain Bedi). Just like your senior will, I didn’t think this out much, but you’re chill and I wish you the best in college. We should talk more before the year ends and keep in touch.

To Georgi Panchev, I will you infinite tea. Thank you for always running tea time and I hope you find some more people to have tea parties with in college.

To Advayth Pashupati, I will you more places to roll around. You should come back next year after the new Jojo part comes out so we can get some new jokes around here. In your place, I will hopefully get all those tossups you always beat me to (although my other commitments might make me too rusty).

To Kale Suarez, I will you The Art of Electronics – Paul Horowitz, Winfield Hill Cambridge University Press (2015). Thanks for helping me out with all of my goofy circuitry, and I hope you live it up at Stanford, my favorite electrical engineering vegetable.

To Josie and Lily, I will you two As in PChem and infinite mahjong (courtesy of Roy). You two have done some crazy amounts of trolling, and hopefully, you’ll find someone else at college to redirect it to. Always remember to slide the homework.

Juliene Calago

To Sydney Hunter, I will you the strength to get rid of the Joseph in your mind. You are genuinely one of the coolest people I’ve met on this campus and I am so glad I met you this year. This campus will not be the same without you and I will genuinely miss not having you here. I know for certain that you will do wonderful and amazing things in college, just don’t let Joseph eliminate your whimsical nature and the joy you have.

Katherine Jiang

To Yicole Ng, I will you the best time with your own big sib – Jojo – at college. Although you and I never got to spend a lot of time together while at IMSA because of our overly busy schedules, you were such a big part of my IMSA experience, and I could not ask for a better big sib. You are so talented, hardworking, and kind, and I’m so glad I had someone like you to look up to while at IMSA. I will forever cherish the little moments we had together, even if most of them were me making weird noises and annoying Diego in front of you. I will miss you so much, and I wish you nothing but the bestest in college and beyond! <3

To Jean Yu, I will you endless boba. Thank you for all those walking trips my sophomore year, all the Science Olympiad moral support, the endless advice, the endless game pigeons, and just always being you and being there for me. You’re honestly the best older brother I could ever ask for. It seems like we kind of grew apart this last semester, but trust me when I say I cherish every second with you. Texting each other the most random things at 2 in the morning or gossiping with each other and saying our crushes were all so memorable to me, and I hope this continues while you’re at college. We NEED to hang out and get hot pot and boba whenever you’re on break. I already know you’re going to go places. :)

To Shrikar Dulam, I will you happiness. (This is what Annabelle told me to will you btw since I couldn’t come up with anything lmao). You should stop worrying about all the small things in life and focus on the bigger picture. You’re a great guy, so don’t let the stupid nitty gritty stuff get to you. I’ve enjoyed the past two years knowing you so much, and although our friendship started off really rocky due to *cough cough* certain people, I’m glad we’ve gotten close and really get to know each other. Sharing advice and random experiences, ranting to each other at the dead of night made me learn a lot, and I hope I was able to help you too. You’re an amazing person, and I know you will walk around changing more and more people’s lives.

To Aarushi Das and Aahana Das, I will you two millions of facetimes with each other while at college. I was originally going to will you two separately, but honestly it’s kind of hard thinking of you two as two separate people. It’s even gotten to the point where every time I see one of you the other is almost always following. Anyway, I remember once Aahana mentioned that the first time you two were ever separated was at SciOly state last year when you guys were juniors. I remember that fact shocking everybody. Then I realized that you two would be so many miles apart while at college, and it made me kind of sad. I can’t imagine meeting one of you two without ever meeting the other. So, I hope you two can facetime each other at every spare moment. I loved SciOly with you guys so much, and I will forever remember the disturbed looks on your faces every time I make some disgusting noise at the captain meetings. :) Bestest of luck on your future endeavors!

To Dylan Xianto, I will you a girlfriend at college. (Autocorrect suggested it correct to “I will be your girlfriend at college”). Anyway, I know you told me you would be very busy at college and have no time for this, but I find it rather funny. Maybe you can stop spending excessive time around your “husband” Ian for once. But jokes aside, thanks for being such an amazing co-captain in SciOly, your blunt humor will be missed. Your incredible talent in chemistry will be missed, but I will make sure your legacy lives on with our underclassmen. I am still mad at you for submitting to Ian though for cutting the line… I was hungry. :( Anyway, I wish you the bestest of luck at college and beyond!

To Ian Chung, I will you more line-cutters at college. I know I know, I’m evil. But I’m sure you could put your Facebook into use more that way, because it would be so odd not getting anything from your account. Think about it – Hari at IMSA, you at your college, it’s pretty nice. You can also keep aura farming at college, with so many girls (and Dylan) after you. Don’t tell my other children this but you’re probably my favorite child. I better get many many big hugs next time we see each other whenever that is (I will find you). SciOly was fun with you even though you were too locked in while I was too busy goofing around. Good luck in the future!! :)

To Andrew Katson, I will you Richard Chen. That’s what you wanted, so here you go. Take him.

To Nelly Pinon, I will you endless tacos. I honestly didn’t know what else to will you, but I remember very vividly how you would always be so excited when you have tacos, and would run up to me in the 01 hall commons or engineering and jump up and down exclaiming how you just had tacos or will be having tacos. You’re such a fun person to yap the most random things with, and I will miss your energy so much. You got this!!

To Bih-Sana Abeh, I will you everything the color pink. Not gonna lie, I didn’t know what to will you, but I’ve noticed every time in engineering that your nails, your laptop, the stickers on your laptop, your phone, are all pink. I’ve noticed that you have a wide rotation of various phone cases, and all of them happen to be pink, as well. I wish you nothing but the bestest in your future. I respect your work ethic and honestly just everything about you. You’re literally so talented in everything you do, and I think that is something that should be valued about you by everyone. Engineering was so fun with you, and I am so thankful I got to meet you, because somehow in the span of a few months, you became one of my favorite upperclassmen. I wish you the bestest, because you are absolutely going to do something amazing in this world. :)

To Kale Suarez, I will you all the back massages in the world. Thank you so much for the old I-day pancakes my sophomore year, all the random talks, the gossips, the older brother advice, and of course, the amazing massages. You seriously should start a side quest of just getting paid to give people massages, because they are actually INCREDIBLE. You are literally so hard-working, funny, kind, and every good trait I could possibly name in the English dictionary. I wish we got to talk more, and honestly, you’re one of the people at IMSA I really wish I could be more like – you’re so carefree, you love life, and you truly are the definition of “going with the flow”. You’re fantastic, and I know you will be so successful in whatever you do.

To Richard Chen, I will you a better fashion sense. I’m sick and tired of your royal blue tennis hoodie, please get a new one. (Sorry for stealing your only other one from you I promise it will be returned to you someday in the future). I would write a lot of things here but those are not for the public to read, and also I know you will not be reading this anyway so honestly it’s better to spam your private messages instead.

Kavya Shah

To Kavya, I will you housing in the Honors UIUC dorms. Okay, no, actually, I will you the NO BELL Prize (haha, get it, Nobel!). No, actually, I will you everything possible. Kavya, since the day I met you, you have been everything for me. My support, my role model, my guide, my day one, and more. On move in day, when I met you, the only thing I knew about you was that you had the same name as me. After meeting you, one of my biggest goals in life has become to be like you. Your personality, your kind nature, and also your ability to make jokes have all been things I look up to. Your name, the name, my name, Kavya, holds a lot. When I think of the name Kavya, I think of you. It is a reminder to me that the name Kavya stands for the confidence you have, the bubbly personality you have, the amazing ability to do your CompuSci homework you have (especially when I have to snatch your phone from you when you are always on TikTok), and much much more. I look up to you more than anything, and I have loved more than anything to get to know you. Please always remember your promise to me. Beta, I wish you all the best in your future years to come. Following that, also a Nobel Prize (without a bell of course)!

To Aashi, I will you all of the years of memories and all of the advice you have given me, not only at IMSA but also outside of it. From dancing alongside you on the temple stage to asking you for advice, each moment has been memorable and precious to me, and I hope that it all turns into something you will never forget. Your advice and the passion that you have has been an inspiration to me! I wish you the best of luck everywhere you go!

To Shatakshi, I will you unlimited gallons of milk and many many many 1502 D Wing couches. From seeing you chug straight from the gallons of milk (I have picture proof too) to seeing all of your nights that you have spent on our wing couch, each instance has been some of my favorite memories here at IMSA. All of our conversations, from helping me move in to talking about college stuff to the most random things ever have been really memorable to me and all of your advice that you have given me has also been super helpful. I have loved getting to know you this year and I know you will do amazing!

To Nandini, I will you to keep your bubbly personality forever. I have loved having the most random conversations at the most random times with you and I have also loved being on Psych Club with you! Thank you for making my sophomore year at IMSA fun!

To Aahana, I will you success! I loved being your co-GIS mentor this year and I learned so much from you! Thank you for making my first time as a GIS mentor memorable and unforgettable! I know you will be successful in whatever you do!

Kelsie Li

To Caitlyn Nguyen, I will you all the success you can dream of in college and beyond. From first meeting you last summer during Drug Discovery to becoming wingmates this year, you have never failed to be a positive light in my life. There has never been a boring moment with you, from the random word games and book reviews last summer, to all the shenanigans and drama this year. Caitlyn, you are truly a wonderful person whom I will always remember and look up to. You are so considerate and caring of your family and your friends, and you have such sound and moral values. I have learned so much from you and I am truly so grateful for having met you. Thank you for being such an amazing wing guide, friend, and role model. You are like an older sister to me and I will miss you very much next year :( . I know you will be busy next year being a super amazing college frisbee player, but please stay in touch with your new phone :))))

To Aarushi and Aahana Das, I will you the happiest and most fulfilling college experience. Aarushi, MVC would not have been the same without you. You made every class so much more fun with your humor, and every worksheet so much more bearable with your geniusness (and catching my algebra errors). I am confident that you will make it far with whatever you set your mind to. Aahana, thank you for always being so welcoming as a hall leader and an amazing friend. Thank you both for always bringing laughter wherever you go. You guys were amazing SciOly captains, and I’m so happy I got to be wingmates with you guys.

To ISP CAB seniors, I will you a better work-life balance, the ability to say “no”, and warmer IHop trips. Sydney, you are one of the most hard working and responsible people I have ever met. I have learned so much from your leadership and you have made such a big impact on me and on the entire school. Tommy, it was very inspiring to see how dedicated you are to the things you are passionate about and I couldn’t have asked for a better leader in the booth. Sarah, I will never understand how you were so punctual as secretary this year. I remember after my first show as booth head you told me to keep my head up, and I hope you know I will always remember that. Ibrahim, thank you for keeping track of the ISP stuff this year. I loved seeing how creative you are through your posts, and I hope you continue to create. You guys all had so much passion for ISP and we will all do our best to be as amazing a CAB as you guys were.

To Fiyin, I will you a chance to relax in college and less stress. Thank you for freaking out with me about BC Fast and lamenting the horrors of Trimm checkpoints. You have the ability to somehow turn everything funny, and it was so fun playing piano with you and being your wingmate. The way you learn so quickly and understand things is beyond me. Have fun taking calculus again in college…

To the soccer seniors, I will you perseverance and hope through challenges even with dubious odds. Mila, I had so much fun playing with you this year. I will never understand how you can get past every player down the field, nor how you run for so long. I loved failing to meg you during practices, celebrating your goals with you, and struggling in E&M with you. I hope you have much more success and fun in college. Emerson, you are such a nice and funny person. You seem to always have everything under control and give the best long passes. Somehow you make everything seem less hopeless, even in Spec Fic during awkward silences. Alyssa and Taliyah, thank you for being such amazing captains this year. Alyssa, you probably saved more goals than any other goalie in the area, and Taliyah, you were such an amazing leader of the team. Evette, thank you for dealing with me this season and last season, and I hope you have many more smiles in college.

To Lily Zhang, I will you much more academic success and less stress. You were genuinely an amazing Big Sib and one of my first upperclassmen friends at IMSA. Thank you for all your help in BC Fast and Ad Chem and helping me become more comfortable at a new school.

To Maya Kannan, I will you the physics career of your dreams. Biophysics genuinely would not have been the same without you and I will never watch Wild Kratts the same. Thank you for teaching me about particle physics and for being mean to me over text messages :) . You always make me laugh.

To Carter Poskozim, I will you more shenanigans in college. You were such a fun co-booth head this year and thank you for teaching me so much technical booth stuff. I hope you keep doing what you are passionate about.

To Max Chen, I will you more memories and academic success with your super cool mechanical pencil. You are one of the most organized people I have ever met and I hope to learn from your leadership and responsibility. I have no idea how you are able to juggle so many things so well, but I hope you know you made an amazing MAO president. Thank you for letting me ask you so many questions and learning from you. Good luck in college.

Kyleigh Rinkel

To Kyra Rinkel, I will you good luck in the future at whatever college you go to. It has been so fun being able to have one year here at IMSA with you. I will you someone in college who will bother you just as much as I have this year. I also will you a roommate who is just like I was. :)

To Erin Cook, I will you luck in school and life. It has been a pleasure knowing you for as long as I have and being able to live in the same wing as you this year has been so much fun. I will you good roommates in the future. I always had fun when you came over and it will be so sad without you here.

To Nyah Davis, I will you luck in college. Knowing you all of these years before I even got into IMSA and having someone that I knew helped me a lot. Having you over has been fun every time and I will miss you.

To Lex Fogg, I will you good roommates for the rest of your school years for having to deal with you horrible roommate this year. :)

To all of 01 C-Wing Seniors, I will you luck in every test, final, and assignments you have in the future. You all made my first year at IMSA amazing and memorable. I don’t think I would have liked it if you all weren’t in it.

Mason Pattanaik

To Sydney Hunter, I will you a bagel and the strength to say no to joining every single club on your future campus. Genuinely, please learn how to set boundaries, it’s impressive how you managed to survive this year without going insane. In all seriousness, you have been the greatest friend I could’ve asked to meet this year, and it’s so upsetting that we never talked prior to now. I spent all of my sophomore year thinking “Wow, that Sydney guy sure is cool!” but was too scared to approach you because of your insane relevancy on this campus, so I was so excited seeing you were in my wing this year. I will never forget the nights you spent camping out in our quad, helping Eleanor in BC1 while you rambled about whatever hellscape of an experience you just went through or judged me for “being obtuse”. I know you’re stuck on the idea that we’re hazing you, but you immediately fit so well into our little group of friends that I didn’t even notice when we went from being a quad to a quint (Is that a word? I’m going to assume it is). Please don’t overcommit yourself again in college, and PLEASE get a good roommate and friend group who you don’t constantly have to tell yourself to be normal around. Have fun at UIUC (and don’t forget, I will be forcing you to stay in touch!)

Michelle Fanjoy

To Carter Poskozim, I will you a business major woman at NYU to finance your college education. I also will you many more NYU sweatshirts, so you don’t have to keep wearing the same one. It has certainly been something getting to know you, and I wish you the best at your money vacuum college experience.

To Brian Leong, I will you another person in college to critique. During my sophomore year, when you first interviewed me for Hadron Marketing, you terrified me to the point where I called my dad right after and cried. Then I realized you weren’t so scary. You have given me such good advice on graphics and marketing, and you always inspired me to push the limits. I don’t know what Hadron will be without you, but I’m sure that it’s not quite as good. Thank you for always keeping me in line and pushing me to be the best version of myself.

To Christopher Costabile, I will you all of me. I will you the rest of our lives together. I hope you have fun at SIU, but not too much, and you better act happy when I show up at your door randomly. I will you the time to do *almost* everything you want so that you don’t have to keep overdoing yourself. I will you all the TCG Pokemon cards ever, even though I don’t know what that means, and the ability to stop saying brainrotted things at the age of 18. I will you another ping pong buddy, but not one that is as good as I am. I will you my academic motivation, though you won’t need it. You are the only thing that has kept me sane at IMSA, and I don’t know how I’m going to survive without you. All I know is that it will be agony, and a part of me hopes that long distance will hurt you just enough so that we will keep running back to each other. I will you my fraction of forever.

Molly Federici

To Carissa Chen, I will you senior assassin stardom, time to watch South Park, lots and lots of vlogs, to return to Monterosso (not Montessori), and for the government NOT to piss down your back and tell you it’s raining. You are such a light to the world Carissa. We didn’t really start talking until second semester and I’m so grateful we did because your sense of humor, positive attitude, work ethic, and perspective on life inspire me to be a better person. I had the best time ever sharing a hotel room with you in Italy, and I still wake up in cold sweats thinking about your alarm clock (warn your future roommate about that please). You are so smart, funny, and such a joy in my life and I’m going to miss you so so much!!! You are going to change the world someday, just don’t forget me when you do!

To Aarna Patel, I will you the ability to always find the vein (even if there is no vein???) You are such a sweet, understanding person, and such a joy to talk to! I had so much fun with you at SLC (even when you freaked out about the homeless guy in the alley but to be fair… looking back he was lowkey creepy). I only wish I could’ve spent more time with you this year and I wish you great things for the future! You’ve got amazing things in store for sure :) <3

To Haley Shah, I will you the greatest college experience! You’re such a sweet and fun person, I enjoyed every second I was able to chat with you this year. Thanks for always being a smiling face and being so cool. (first time I stepped foot in y’all’s quad I treated it like holy ground I swear) I hope you have the best time in college ever! You are going to do such great things!

To this year’s speech captains (Navya, Ibrahim, and Kavya) I will you guys a break from the 6:00 AM speechxiety IHSA grind. You guys have been the best, most dedicated, and most supportive captains ever! Thanks for everything you’ve done for our team and us underclassmen will have to do our best carrying the torch! (y’all left big shoes to fill) Navya, I had such a great time with you in Italy! Your laugh is so contagious and your smile is magnetic. You’re going to do great things! Ibrahim, impromptu is definitely not my speed, but I admire your ability to speak on the fly and do so well managing working on your own speeching all while still supporting the team. Kavya, who’s going to run the instagram??? Thanks for being so inspiring to all of us and always lockingggg in on speech, the team wouldn’t have been the same without you.

To Senior CAB (Shiloh Wheeler, Alea Ritchie, Luci Stocco) I will you guys a break from the hoco + COTH grind. IMSA only gets 12 days of CAB (plus a few others), but lucky me, I got a whole year and a half of you guys. You guys are awesome and y’all are the whole reason CAB felt like such a family this year. From calling Eric, Ria, Victor, and I “baby CAB” for like the whole first week and the light hazing, to watching you guys dominate (maybe not dominate) at top golf and our last Cababunga together, I’m so lucky to have been able to share in Campus Activities Board with you all. Thanks for being awesome and I wish you all the very very best in the future!

To Luci Stocco, I will you more great weekends, food review tiktoks, Birkenstock clogs, and lots of dancing. Luci! You’re so fun and I’m so glad I got to spend time with you this year. You made CAB meetings a blast and we couldn’t have asked for a better CAB director. Additionally, I’m honored to have been able to become your friend and I’ll never forget all the laughs we shared at CAB and in dance (even though you always hate on me when I mess up and you’re an AGGRESSIVE lead). Anyway- I want to be you when I grow up. Love love love you bunches and I’ll miss you so much next year.

To Sarah Kumar, I will you tiktok brainrot, Kpop Idols, and a MVTHS diploma (once a ram always a ram). Sarah, you’ve been my friend since Pre-K and if it wasn’t for you, I never would have come to IMSA. I’m so grateful for all of the support you’ve offered me, not only at IMSA, but through STM and MVTHS too. You’re so funny and you always get my jokes (maybe… WE so funny?? ;) ) I had such a great time with you in Italy and though you NEVER WALKED LEISURELY I’ll always remember all the memories we made (Florence leather market wassup???) Thanks for being a great big sib and someone I can always send Instagram reels to. I love you so so much and I’ll miss you lots next year.

To Kaella Moraga, I will you to see EPIC the musical in person, a break from the IMSA grind, legal intervis, and to beat Yale in THE GAME. Kaella, you are so sweet and genuine. I absolutely adore you and I can’t thank you enough for being such a great friend and DPC this year. You have been an integral part of 03’s culture (flop nation hellur) and you’re a big part of the reason why I love IMSA. Thanks for being unapologetically you and loving musicals with me. I loved our impromptu lock-in/chat/listen to music nights and I’ll miss them so much next year. You’re the best pseudoquadmate ever, Kaella and I love ya. Pls keep in touch!!!

To Kaylee Hwang, I will you cookie butter Matcha, Smiskis, Enhypen, eyelash clusters, jerseys, a break from the modern dance grind, and freedom from adchem/biochem. Kaylee, you’ve been such a great friend to me since sophomore year. Late nights helping me study, making tiktoks together, our hocoposal, the one time we tried to lock in at the gym for like three days, laughing during 10 check and programming, clash drill, and so many other memories I have made with you that I’ll treasure forever. You are one of the most thoughtful and generous people I know. Our friendship has been so valuable to me and I thank you for always coming over to D23 and chatting with me. I’ll miss moments like that so much next year without you. You are so beautiful, smart, strong, capable, and genuinely such a great person. You have been so important in my life and It’ll take a lot of readjusting to figure out what to do when you graduate. Thanks for always being a friend, Kaylee. Please please stay in touch. I love you!

To Gabi Boscarino, I will you THE college experience, a FMSC location near you, and friends who unconditionally love you, support you, and make you feel as valued as you made me feel this year. Gabi: you have been one of my greatest friends this year and I wouldn’t trade you for the world. I really only got to know you this year, and I’m so glad I did because you are so much more than meets the eye. Your sense of humor, attitude, work ethic (despite the insane SSS), and genuine kindness are such a breath of fresh air. I had so much fun with you in Italy and on ICA and I don’t know how I can follow up after your legendary run as president. Aside from that, I can’t thank you enough for how good of a friend you have been. From letting me walk and rant to you anywhere from five minutes to five hours to being such a genuine caring soul, I’m not sure if I’ll ever find another friend like you. I’ll miss our inside jokes that we can tell with just glances and Lexington ICA meetings, but most of all, I’ll miss hearing all of your stories and just being around you. Please please never forget that I’m always only a facebook messenger (get an apple phone pls) away. Don’t forget to update me on your life, because I’ll miss you so much. Love you Gabi!!

To Shruthi Vasudevan, I will you stronger ankles. I know I’ve only truly known you for one season, but it feels like a lifetime. I’m so glad I met you and got to mess with you every night in the wing. I’m so grateful to be a part of this badminton team this year. State was so fun!! Thanks for always supporting me throughout the year mentally (because we both know your ankles could never physically) and I wish you the best in college!!

To Rhea Shah, I will you a stress-free and amazing college expereince. I’m forever grateful to have been a part of such an awesome badminton team this year, and to have met you. State was such an awesome experience and I’m so glad I got to experience it with you guys. You’re a phenomenal person and I hope you continue to cook!

To Carissa Chen, I will you a new back. Why are we so injury prone… I’m so glad I was able to meet you and play with you this season. You’re such an amazing and cracked person and have always been so kind and locked in with all of us. State was so awesome and I had so much fun rooming with you and Alison. I wish you the best in Harvard!

Nitya Dixit

To Navya (froggy), I will you the ability to stay away from me for extended periods of time AND the ability to make a robot. Don’t miss me too much . But tbh I am going to miss you more!! Even after surviving 7 whole school years without you, I fear IMSA has spoiled me and I need my daily dose of bothering you and embarrassing you . I hope going into this new chapter of your life, you still remember me while partying, making scientific breakthroughs, and making robots. We need to make our build-a-bears still, so see you then

To Aahana, I will you nonchalant-ness. I hope you are able to walk across the IMSA graduation stage and all the other ones in the future without tripping. But honestly, you are one of the biggest role models I have had during my time at IMSA and I hope to one day be as locked in, outgoing, and bubbly as you! I don’t think I will ever be able to NOT use your style of speaking/lingo–mnea thank yew for that. I know you will slay the days away in college and I wish you the best in all your future endeavors!!

To Aarushi, I will you all the guinea pigs, hamsters, and other cute critters in the world . You are literally a human with the spirit of a guinea pig. You are the biggest cutie pie on campus and are so friendly and sweet with everyone! I loved having you as my neighbor and in my hall, and I will miss chatting it up/bothering you I hope you have the best time in college and I know that you will be successful in everything you do!

To Fiyin, I will you the bestest Bees Knees. You know what I mean. I hope in college you will find many opportunities to utilize your bees knees! But honestly, you are the realest person ever. Witnessing your Junior year crash outs first hand, I now am able to sympathize . I will miss being on the IMSA stage with you and randomly running into you in the halls! You are such a hard worker and are too funny! I hope you enjoy your time in college and please visit!!!

To Nandini, I will you the biggest UIIA cat rave. I loved finally having a class with a senior amiga and I wished I could’ve had more with you! You are genuinely such a fun person to be around with your infinite aura! Knowing you since 7th grade has been the biggest honor I have been blessed to have and I hope you can continue doing goofy shenanigans in college! You are so talented and amazing and I will miss you so much! Best of luck in college! You better visit! (UIUI U I A UIUI U I A UIUI U I A U U I A)

To Aashi, I will you infinite time. I know that cramming for your white coat will be quite time consuming, but if anyone can do it, it is you! You are literally the wisest person ever and I will miss coming up to you for tokens of your advice and wisdom! You are also so fun to be around and hang out with! I also would like to thank you for bullying Navya when I could not! You better come back to visit! I wish you the bestest time in college!

To Shatakshi, I will you many more underclassmen to adopt when you become an upperclassman at Northwestern! You are the chillest guy ever and I will miss brain rotting with you! I feel so lucky to have the BESTEST big sib/LEAD facilitator on campus and I hope you will be able to spread your brain rot to another school near you!

To Netra, Riya G, and Kavya U, I will all of y’all complete success being Girls IN2 STEM!!! Senior board is literally goated. Thank you so much for all the passion and hard work you guys have put into GIS to advance it to where it is now! I know you guys will continue to inspire many others in college and in the future! (You guys better come back as guest speakers)

To 02 A wing (and honorary A wing seniors), I will you guys a bunch of ramen, breakfast food items, and ice trays. I hope there is always something yummy cooking (or freezing) in your dorms in college! Best of luck!!

Paul Watson

To Devarsh Shah, I will you the ability to actually show up to swim practice. Never meet your heroes fr.

Raj Patel

To Jaden Blakenship, I will you endless amounts of Starbucks.  You are the most respectful and hardworking person I have ever met. I’ve never seen anyone as inspirational as you. You drive me to go beyond whatever I do. I am so lucky to have met you through our SIR project. Thank you for giving me amazing advice about college. I am sad that I got to spend time with you for just this year, but I know you will do even more amazing things at Yale. Truly, you are such an inspiration for getting into Yale. You deserved that scholarship with Coca Cola too. Good luck, man. My best wishes are always with you. Please stay in touch.

To Arjun Bramanadan, I will you the ability to be secretive. You are the GOAT. You are so nice and helpful to others. Thank you for helping me study for my MI4 test in my sophomore year. Thank you for showing me the college application process from your perspective. Lastly, thank you for being a kind and loyal friend. I wish you all the best at UCLA. Have fun in college Arjun!

To Jongwoo Kim, I will you multiple drafts of essays to look over. You are a cool and nice guy. I always knew I could rely on you for writing help. Your SIR poster was honestly really good last year. I wish you all the very best in college.

To Andrew Katson, I will you a year of “locking in” in observational. Thank you for giving me company in observational, though you need to lock in that class. You are a good friend and have a great sense of humor. I know you will make lots of friends in college because you are a sociable person. Please stay in touch with me, and I wish you the best in college and beyond.

Ria Bakshi

To Netra Rameshbabu, I will you a shiny new water bottle. You’ve slowly grown from being just my study buddy to being a friend whom I can trust with both my silliest and sincerest moments. With you, I feel like I can give no flux and just be myself. Netra, I look up to you (not just literally). You are one of the most hardworking, humble, honest, and kind people that I know. It’s often hard to take the first step to talk to someone new, but you always do and you show that you genuinely care about others. I admire your balance and vulnerability, and the way that you prioritize both your responsibilities and your relationships. Don’t ever lose that. One last thing: please stop underestimating yourself! You did it. You got into college (go boilermakers!) and you got through IMSA. You worked for this and you deserve it. Wow, that was one of my final Netra glazes of this school year. I’m gonna miss you (stay in touch!) and I know that you are going to achieve great things.

To Luci Stocco, I will you many more Irish dances and never ending snacks from Chloe’s office. Luci, you were an awesome CAB director. We would be lost without you. I will miss your random insights on Sunday nights and your ability to keep up with Molly and Eric’s endless TikTok brainrot. You always have a story to tell or thought to share and you never fail to make me smile. Good luck in college! I know that you will leave your mark wherever you go.

To Shiloh Wheeler, I will you a new pair of rings. Shiloh, since the start of this school year, there has never been a moment where I pass you in the halls and you don’t say hi. You are one of the most kind and caring people that I’ve met. I think I’ve learned a lot more from you than I ever told you. I look up to the types of friendships that you have made and your ability to be serious and silly and goofy. You’ve taught me to not judge others, how to voice my own opinions, and that it is a good thing to be myself. Thanks for making CAB so fun this year and good luck in college! I know that you will do great things.

To Aahana and Aarushi Das, my twins, I will you endless packets of Buldak Ramen. When I got Aarushi as my big sib, it felt like I was getting a two in one package deal. I promise I can clearly tell you two apart now. Thanks for all the moral support throughout these past two years. From saying hi in the hallways to giving well-thought-out advice, you two have always made me feel welcome on the IMSA campus. Aarushi, I wish I reached out a bit more to grow our relationship, but I thank you for all the Big Sib walks and events we had together. Good luck to you both in college, and remember to stay in touch!

To all the FRC seniors (Kale, Keegan, Neel, Fiyin, Shatakshi, Michael, Indy, and more), I will you rising-all-star awards in whatever challenge you take on next. You all were truly the heart and soul of the team this year. Thanks for not only guiding us in building this robot, but also giving us the resources we need to succeed when you all leave. FRC is one of the best experiences on campus because of all the different types of passionate people that you can meet. I will forever carry the conversations and memories of comp team and Pit Crew with me. Good luck in college, and I know you all will use those ginormous brains of yours to leave your mark in this world.

To the rest of the seniors who have made me feel welcome at IMSA, even if just with short conversations: Mila, Nandini, Navya, Alea, Aashi, Katherine, Carolyn, Manu, Shatakshi, Yicole, Diego, Noel, and many more, I will you all the best in college. Congratulations and good luck!

Ritika Rudrapati

To Aarna Patel, I will you another buddy to have dinner dates with. I loved every moment we spent together, whether it was ordering Panda Express or taking long walks. I am so grateful to have you as my big sib. You are truly the kindest, most dedicated, and funniest person to be with. I know that you are going to be awesome at college wherever you go. If you ever need someone to talk to—or to be delulu or big back with—I’m always just a call and a chaotic gif away.

To Nandini Budithi, I will you upperclassmen to wave to in the halls. You are truly the sweetest and most genuine person I’ve ever met. Thank you for all your hugs and smiles, whether it was during girls dance or in school. I hope you have an amazing time at Wisconsin! Good luck, and ILY!

To Aashi Dharia, I will you infinite smiles. Whenever I see u, u are always smiling and lighting up everyone’s day. I hope one day, we will finally be able to meet over lunch! Thank you for being such an amazing upperclassman. I loved getting to know you these past few years, and good luck at college!

Riyan Jain

To Kavya, I will you a good work-life balance. Getting to know you since sophomore year has been such a crazy ride, but every step of it was worth it. Even though you (sometimes) have the attention span of a goldfish, lock out a little bit too much, and, worst of all, are a speech kid (debate on top fr fr), you are legitimately the nicest, funniest, smartest (when you put your mind to it), most amazing person I know and I’m so glad you haven’t taken my (accidental) ghosting to heart and we are still great friends. I also will you immunity from impostor syndrome. Never feel that you don’t belong where you are – you’ve worked hard, and there have been some setbacks along the way, but you’ve reached the good ending. I’m so happy to be able to call you my IMSA big sis (now lock in so that you can live up to the title). Hope you have fun in college (don’t fail all your classes plz)

To Advayth (Adi), I will you the rest of my sanity (and some recs hmu for them). You are one of the most intelligent people I know (bro no-diffed CompuSci on his Notepad–). For real though, thank you for making the past two (one and a half? idk) years of IMSA the best, funniest, and happiest years of my life – all the random recs (thanks for telling me about ORV) and grinds for who knows what and the bits of wisdom sprinkled in between have been incredibly exhilarating. I’m really gonna miss being able to pull up to your room and “lock in” for stuff (with a hint of Showdown). So take some sanity and take it easy in college – you deserve it. You don’t fear procrastination, procrastination fears you (but don’t overdo it).

To Carissa, I will you a W sense of humor. I’ll be honest, I didn’t know you very well in sophomore year, but I’ve gotten to know you better throughout the last year, both because you were an amazing debate prezzy and because of MVC and CompuSci. Seriously, you were an awesome president and I loved how you nonchalantly managed such a large group. You are so cracked/locked-in and funny, and I know you’ll do great even after graduating. Keep being funny and awesome!

To Krish, I will you a Kirby plushy to go with your Visual Studios background. It’s been so great to know you this past year, whether it be locking in for MVC (fun times ofc) to somehow sharing the first three mods in this semester or being able to grind or just hang out at U-Bench/Stunion. And, of course, playing rounds of Showdown when the CompuSci code took forever to run. I will miss the late nights in D-wing, and I hope you have fun in college (try not to get too cooked by the housing).

To Arjun, I will you the most insane table tennis forehand known to mankind. If anything, it’ll go well with the most insane table tennis backhand (which you already have). Getting to know you has been so much fun, and I will miss getting obliterated in table tennis (but learning from it, obviously). I hope you take your skills and build new ones in college! Maybe we’ll be able to aim better by then when engaging in “target practice…” (if you know you know)

To Carolyn, I will you new running shoes and a subscription to the New York Times. You’re such a hard worker, and I enjoy working with you (whether it be debate, Congress, HOSA, or anything else). As expected of a magnet kid, of course! Keep being locked in and goated.

To the L&D seniors (Yicole, Cameron, Greenley, Jediael), I will you all rainbow Hawaiian skirts and luck in your future endeavors. It has been such a blast to work with all of you to ensure the continued success of L&D, and Skyelar and I will ensure that the club stays successful for years to come (hopefully)!

To Neev, my big sib, I will you some procrastination. Seriously. You are always so locked in, and it’s fantastic, but you need some rest, too!! Don’t let college stress you out, and keep cooking.

To Shatakshi, I will you MORE SLEEP. No, I’m being serious, you need to get more sleep. You’ve already made it past high school (probably the most stressed you’ll be for a while), so honestly, just take the time to chill out and take care of yourself! You’re gonna do great in college (and beyond), and you’d better not ghost us (that’s my job)!

To Vedanti, I will you the most challenging math classes in college (because you’ve already taken all the IMSA math classes -_-) and a random freshman-level science class that ends up being the most challenging class you’ll ever take (for the funnies trust). And out of the kindness of my heart, I’ll also throw in a one-time pass to talk to… well, you know what.

To Chris, I will you a personality (haha jk) and a table tennis forehand (lock in man).

Roy Wang

To Arjun Brahmandam, I will you your deserved USATT rating of 5000. You’ve been training a little too much to still be stuck at a three-digit rating. I still remember meeting you at that one ping pong open gym at the beginning of soph year. It’s been cool seeing you grow as a person and player. Go make your parents proud by going to UCLA and beating Nikhil Kumar (This isn’t delusional at all, trust!)

To Max Chen, I will you a chill Yale roommate. I still vaguely remember when you would play with my hair every time I went to the 4/5 classroom. Thanks for carrying the soccer and basketball teams all those years ago (even though I’d break your ankles now), and being a great MAO president. I’m sure you’ll go on to do great things, and I’ll try not to let you down. Maybe we can catch up at some random asian house party in the future.

To Ian Chung, I will you a college where nobody cuts the line. However, to honor your legacy, I will continue cutting the line at IMSA, just for you! Also, thanks for being a great SciBowl atmosphere captain – we’ll beat NNHS next year fs. Congrats on getting most aura, and hopefully you’ll win the Stephanie Pace Marshall award too. Keep getting the opps – you better keep posting them in college.

To Shrikar Dulam, I will you one third of a bag of skittles. Thank you for being my Mech and E&M GOAT. Racing through the quest to get out of class early was truly peak productivity. Keep cooking in physics, just don’t cook so hard that I have to take a whole new class to learn about it :(

To Advayth Pashupati, I will you the ability to roll yourself onto some great things. Keep rolling through life. Let’s roll!

To Jongwoo Kim, I will you and the Knicks a championship. Playing basketball with you and your gooner gang was truly unforgettable. Some day, I’ll develop my vert enough to visit you at uiuc and dunk on you like I always promised I would. I can’t wait to see what you’ll go on to accomplish.

To Josie Kim, I will you a real ping pong backhand, and negative one hats (those who know). Thanks for being a real one and for supplying me with some legendary 1 AM reel pulls. Start training ping pong with your cracked Aunt, and maybe you’ll get good at which hand you hide the ball in too! Have fun in Korea next year, and keep cooking in majiang. Thanks for being such a great friend – I’m sure you’ll go on to do great things (whether that’s in quant, the lab, or the trenches).

To Sebastian Mark – I will you infinite brownie points with all of your residence counselors, especially Brett. Thank you for being the best armrest ever, and for being the chillest of chill guys.

To Andrew Nelson, I will you a new ping pong paddle. Rip to your current one for how many times you’ve had to glue it back together :(. Thanks for all the weekend ping pong grind sessions, and for being a real one and waiting until after the season. Best of luck in college, and I better see you cooking Joey in smash bros.

To Chad Park, I will you my (backup)^3 ping pong paddle. It was fun going (basically) undefeated with you in doubles this year. Keep cooking up all the racket sports in college!

To David Weng, I will you a jump shot.

To Jean Yu, I will you infinite webtoons, so that if you’re ever stuck in a class with a teacher you love as much as Ms. McCarthy, you’ll never have to suffer.

To Will Yu, I will yu whatever you want – I just really wanted to “will yu” will yu. Thanks for being a great machine learning tablemate and for always sliding the code I forgot to do so I can play minecraft.

To MAO Senior Board (Max, Michael, and Will), I will you guys a lifetime of watching your underlings do all your work for you. In all seriousness, thanks for being such a chill trio, and I’ll work hard to continue the legacy that you guys have helped build.

To the senior clarinetists (Fiyin, Naomi, Jean, and Indy), I will you guys the ability to finally escape IMSA band. Thank you guys for creating such a chill environment, and as fellow members of the gochee gang clarinet guild (hey michael, if you’re reading this, dw about it), I hope you guys carry on this legacy to wherever you end up going. And just one last note – you gotta remember that your clarinet is NOT a toy :D

Sai Ganbote

To the Med Society Senior Board (Carolyn, Josie, Ayan, Aahana, Luci), I will you SLEEP! The med-kid grind never stops, unfortunately. But in the meantime, I hope you all enjoy your time at college and rest from all the locking in you have been doing at IMSA. Thank you so much for reviving our Med Society this year, and actually having events! Med Society Board 25-26 is so ready to carry on your legacy, and we’re excited to hold even more events! I wish you all the best with college, and maybe you guys will come back as mentors for our mentorship groups in the future:)

To Carolyn, I will you a partner in crime who’s as locked in and has the sweetest smile like you! You’re genuinely one of–if not the–most focused seniors I know. Whether it is keeping our biomedical debate team on our toes with all that research and preparation, or coordinating all the logistics for the numerous Med Society events we’ve had this year, I know anyone can rely on you with your dedication, expertise, and drive to do everything with your all. Honestly, I aspire to be you!! And yes, I’m definitely taking you up on that offer to edit my college essays :)

To Josie, I will you a tropical break from chemistry, and the SSS you wanted (minus P-Chem) all throughout college! Well, I don’t know if it’s possible, considering how cracked you are at chemistry. Even with all of Golab’s fun, tennis, Asia, Med Society, and so much more, you’re so locked in, and it lowkey motivated me seeing that in B-Wing! I’ll miss seeing you around campus next year!

To Navya, Nandini, Aashi, I will you a god squad of a trio as you guys to accompany you everywhere you go! You all have been the sweetest seniors ever and such role models. I will genuinely miss having you at IMSA. Please become super seniors and don’t leave . Unfortunately, I know that is the last thing you want.

To Navya, I will you a big sib who’s as vivacious as you, an endless supply of STEM year book pictures, and Nilla Wafers! You know, out of everyone at this school, I’ve known you the longest! Thanks for the random STEM lore drops and flashbacks (especially of King P), your waves and cute smiles in the hallways, your speechy enthusiasm, and of course, your amazing matchmaking skills of setting me and Ritika up. Keep laughing, and stay in touch!

To Nandini, I will you una compañera en español que sea muy simpática, inteligente y con la sonrisa más bonita del mundo (I did not translate that…). You’re definitely one of the sweetest people at IMSA, and I can’t imagine this year without you. You’re so relatable, and I’m beyond grateful I had someone to get the best guidance from for anything and everything. Thanks for being my Valentine’s date, and I wish you an even better one in all your fun in college!

To Aashi, I will you the award for the most perfect curls EVER. Drop the routine right now. I’m so excited for you at UMKC, and seeing all your work pay off has been hopeful for me. All our small talk has been so fun, and I will miss seeing you around campus! Keep smiling!!

To Aahana and Aarushi, I will you the magical ability for everyone to know which twin is which! Unfortunately, I know I haven’t quite mastered the art, but I love waving and smiling at both of you. You both are such role models and the sweetest souls ever. We will miss having you in 02 next year!

To Aarna, I will you endless Taco Bell and a break from the grind! HOSA would not have grown to over 100 members without the commitment that you and Devarsh put in. I always see you locked in and juggling a million different things, and I immensely admire you for that. Hopefully, in college, you’ll get a well-deserved break from your grinding with a side of free Taco Bell.

To TALENT Senior Board, I will you the grand prize of all pitch competitions and many more botted forms with 2227 applicants

To Neev, I will you sanitizer and lotion of your dreams (was it peppermint or evergreen? I can’t seem to remember :( ). Thank you for keeping TALENT afloat through it all. I can’t imagine how in the world you were able to balance everything you did with that level of detail and commitment this year–I will be striving to achieve this next year. Dhivija and I promise to carry on the TALENT legacy and take it to the next level!

To my Speech Seniors (Navya, Kavya, Ibrahim, Ellen, Rachel), I will you straight 1s in everything you do. You all are a cracked group, and I’m forever grateful for all the memories we’ve had together. We will definitely continue recruiting all the sophomores to join Speech instead of Debate. Keep speeching!

To Shatakshi, I will you an academic weapon (wait, I forgot, you have your big sib), or rather, some sleep. Ever since D-Wing last year, you’ve been someone I can rely on for anything, especially your math binder, which has been my savior. I loved our late-night talks last year and missed them very much this year. After all that grinding, I hope you get some long-NEEDED sleep!

Samira Koduri

To Aahana Das, I will you an endless number of naps and snacks for you to eat during class. Thank you so much for being one of my first upperclassmen friends at IMSA! I truly look forward to seeing you during French and in 02. I’m so thankful to have worked with you on French projects and listening to you try to deal with the nonsense my sister says (although it is rather amusing to see you give your bombastic side eyes hehe). You have made my two years at IMSA brighter and more enjoyable, and I have truly gotten inspired by the sincerity and dedication that you demonstrate for everything you do. Like your Instagram bio says (when you don’t deactivate it >:( ), Je crois en toi, and I hope you continue to be your slay qween self in college!

To Aarushi Das, I will you endless K-drama TV shows for you to watch during college. Although I have not gotten the opportunity to work with you as much during French (because Shriya keeps on stealing you ), I appreciate your ability to brighten up people’s days and for being an amazing 02 Hall Senator. You’re genuinely so creative and hardworking, and I get inspired to lock-in when I see you working in Hall Commons on Compusci. Trust, one day I will be able to answer your personal quiz with 100% accuracy (unlike in sophomore year… ). Continue to be your bubbly self, and have an amazing time in college because you deserve it!

To Maya Kannan, I will you endless free-time to complain about XO Kitty and Emily in Paris and to relish in its silliness. Words can’t describe how much I appreciate the energy and positive vibes you bring when we are together, and I am thankful to you for being my big sib and for all the advice and tutoring you have given me for math and history. From you, I have learned how to be a bit more outgoing, because it is genuinely so hard not to be a bit goofy when I am around you. Your passionate and chaotic energy is perfectly balanced with your calm and sincere sides (it’s giving big sister lmao). I hope you continue to hold your head high and enjoy yourself during college!

To Anwita Kasturi, I will you the opportunity to cut someone’s hair (preferably Shriya’s because she needs a haircut). Although I have only really gotten to know you this year, I am truly so grateful to have met you. I look forward to your positive energy and the famous Anwita quote: “How’s it going squaaaad,” just because my day is not complete if I don’t hear it. I hope you continue to be your somehow nonchalant but chaotic self (truly a remarkable combination) and that you have an awesome time not being at IMSA!!

To Fiyin Akinyemi, I will you a person who you can share your bombastic side eye with! Although nowadays I don’t get to see you as much (B-wing supremacy!), I enjoyed our random conversations in C-wing last year. You are so hardworking, and I hope you have a lot of fun in college!

To Yicole Ng, I will you endless opportunities to showcase your amazing fashion style! I have truly appreciated getting to know you in BCIII, and I hope you have a wonderful time in college!

Sasha Bystrukhina

To Amy Lendi, I will you some Chobani yogurt and a teapot, though of course you can always use mine. I wish you all the best at UIUC and beyond. I hope you continue doing cartwheels down your dorm hallway (and that you find an Amelia to tell you to “get down from there!”). Thank you for being my Emotional Support Senior this year, and for supporting me in all my endeavors, no matter how much I didn’t believe in myself. 07 will not be the same without you, but I’m sure your college will appreciate your humor. I know you will be successful in any career you choose, even if it ends up being plan B.

To Dylan Xianto, I will you a fireproof lab coat and a handful of stir sticks. Thank you for being a fantastic forensics Captain, and for being so incredibly helpful for MSI. Forensics lab practices were always so much fun, and I had a great time running around in a lab coat and testing powders at competition. Thank you for supporting me, and for humoring me and my terrible jokes this season. The team won’t be the same without you, but I hope you get to set plenty of chemicals on fire in college, and that you don’t drop them on yourself.

To Ian Chung, I will you $100 dollars and a Grammarly subscription. I don’t know what exactly you need the money for, but I guess you can never have too much cash. Thank you for not giving up on me, despite my insistence that I’m not good at eco, and for tolerating my … humor for two whole events. You were a great Captain for both eco and expd, and I credit you with my improvement in both. I hope everyone in college is civilized enough not to cut in line, and that you get to write at least one hard eco test.

To Kavya Uppal, I will you the coffee I never got to buy you. You supported me before I even came to IMSA, and I knew I could always go to you for advice. You have been incredibly helpful this year in helping me adjust to this new environment, and I appreciate your guidance this year. I know you have a great future ahead of you, and hope you don’t forget your lil sib when you’re rich and famous!

To Andrew Katson, I will you a thesaurus and a library card, because your math skills don’t need any more help, но твой английский плохой, а твой русский еще хуже (ты вообще можешь это прочитать?). I don’t understand how you managed to take nearly every math class at IMSA, but I have to say I’m impressed (and will be asking for homework help in the future). Thanks for helping me with math, and for listening to my endless rambling, and I hope you have fun doing math in college, though I don’t know where you’ll find a class with something you don’t already know.

Shriya Koduri

To Aahana Das, I will you an unlimited supply of chocolate milk. Although I tease you a lot, thank you so much for being an aspiring upperclassman to look up to! I genuinely don’t know what I would have done without you at IMSA, and I’m so glad that I met you during sophomore year move-in. Even though I will miss bothering you in the hall commons and doing my alpha-wolf ears whenever I see you, I can’t wait to see you do absolutely amazing in college and become an academic weapon! Good luck baddie :D

To Aarushi Das, I will you Chappell Roan summer vibes all throughout college. Thank you so much for being my French bestie and dealing with my shenanigans in the French classroom! Despite my often silly demeanor, I genuinely always looked forward to seeing you everyday for these last two years, and I’m so grateful that you were stuck with me this year and last year (LOL-couldn’t escape me even after I moved out of C-wing!). In all seriousness though, I’m so proud of all the hard work you’ve put in at your time at IMSA, and I hope you have a blast in college!! Bon chance!

To Maya Kannan, I will you a cardboard cutout of JIN (this includes the tuna from his music video lol). Thank you so much for dealing with my Instagram reel addiction (and my TXT, GGUM choreography, JYP, Emily in Paris, and XO Kitty addictions too :D). I’m so grateful that I met you during sophomore year; you’ve definitely made my time at IMSA very memorable! I appreciate all the time we’ve spent together doing some…interesting things…and thrust – I mean, *trust*, I will be sending you more personalized Yeonjun/TXT dance tutorials once you’re in college (with the orange wig)!!

To Anwita Kasturi, I will you another signed poster of Ed. Thank you for keeping me sane during Intro to Proofs first semester! Despite you and Samira often opping against me in French (jk lol), I don’t think I’ve ever laughed at something as much as I’ve laughed at your commentary in class. You’ve genuinely been like an older sister to me (hence, your contact name being Akka on my phone), and I’m so grateful for having the opportunity of getting to know you better this year! You’re going to do great in college, and I hope you’ll have an awesome time in New York!

To Fiyin Akinyemi, I will you a sparkly JoJo Siwa bow. Thank you for all the fun memories in C-wing last year! I appreciate your attempts to differentiate Samira and me whenever you see us (I’m going to be honest, you’ve gotten us right way more times than you haven’t – we just like gaslighting you to think you’re wrong :D). Keep being the talented, Karma-dance queen that you are, and I can’t wait to see what you’ll achieve in college!!

To Caitlyn Nguyen, I will you a HUGE basket of snacks. Thank you for allowing me to play your piano for 02 Talent Show! I’m so grateful that I got to know you in C-wing and see you grow not only as a student, but as a musician! I know you will do great In college, and I hope that you continue to pursue your musical interests, since you’re genuinely so talented. Good luck!!

To Yicole Ng, I will you an end to math coding (but I unfortunately doubt that will happen ). Thank you for being so warm and friendly at our math table! As much as I wish class could end sooner, talking to you has definitely made my time in math more enjoyable! I hope you have an amazing time in college; you’ll be great :)

To all the other seniors I’ve talked to, good luck in college! I hope that you can finally take a break from IMSA and accomplish your future goals!

Swara Kakumani

To Greenley Ziemer, I will to you the best college experience and future life you could ever ask for. If anyone deserves happiness, it’s you. I don’t have enough words to explain all the things you mean to me. You’ve been the friend I didn’t know I needed this year, you’ve become more to me than you know. You understand me at my core in a way I really needed in my junior year. You’ve been an inspiration and a close confidant I feel I can go to for advice. I don’t know when we became what we are, I don’t know when your hug became so comforting, but I wish you the absolute best time in college with all your new friends. The only condition is that you absolutely never forget me and Carly. I love you so much, thank you for guiding me and being my beloved best friend. ❤️

Tashi Shah

To Haley Shah, I will you a big sib just like you. I am so glad I texted you that day over the summer. I don’t know what I would do without telling you everything and what would happen to me without you, sophomore year especially. You are a great big sib and I can’t wait for what you do in the future. Thank you for always listening to me even when I get confusing. I am so excited what the future hold for you. And like you said before live mas!

Tianqing Lei

To Kaylee, I will you more matcha and the best single dorm because you deserve it. Kaylee, you are the most funny, sweet, gorgeous, and real person ever. I will miss dancing with you, stealing your food, raising monkey’s paws in Movement and Relaxation, and rotting in the mental health lounge. I will say, I never expected us to get so close after Lunar but I am so glad we did and sad that we didn’t talk as much before. Thank you for your MVC notes (actually saved my life) and all of our ranting sessions. You are genuinely so fun to be around and I always feel so seen when we talk about everything. I wish you all the best, I know you will do great in college!

To Sarah, I will you more dances because you truly have a talent. Sarah, I hope you know I almost cried during Night Market when you told me and Mahima you would miss us and for us to keep in touch. My fav Choreo! Dancing with you for the past two years has been so fun! I am glad I got to talk to you more this year. You are so cool and nonchalant and one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. I will gladly carry on your legacy of being Lunar Modern and Gfriend choreo, even though I have no idea how you were able to manage it all. I will miss you so much and good luck in college!

To Elaine, I will you someone to speak Chinese with. I remember when I first met you, I thought you had the most long and luscious hair. I also remember you were the only person to perfectly pronounce my name and still do to this day. Elaine, you are such an amazing dancer, I had a great time in Modern and Gfriend with you. I will miss speaking in Chinese with you and confusing everybody else. Come visit the cultural shows and I wish you all the best in the future!

To Jake, I will you Jake Jrs, Jake Jr Jrs, and all the Jake Jr Jr etc. to come. Wow I really can’t imagine IMSA without you, which makes me sad because you are leaving. Maybe you should become a super senior and stay instead. Jk, I would not wish another year at IMSA upon you. Not to get all sappy, but I truly cherish all the memories we’ve made and I am so proud of how far we’ve come. Thank you for always being there for me and listening to yap about the most random stuff every day. I always feel comfortable telling you about the things that I tell no one else. You give me the best advice and perspective on life and believe it or not, I look up to you a lot. I will miss you a lot senior year, but I know we will be okay. Have fun in Korea, I hope you meet a Hongdae guy irl and don’t forget to bring me souvenirs! Mahal Kita.

To Tommy, I will you more Baja Blasts and Wechat Huzz. I remember my first impression of you during Jalsa was you throwing it back and how your audition freestyle was super shy. You’re actually so fun to talk to (and make fun of). Thank you for all the fun times in modern and espanol. Don’t forget to invite me and Mahima to UIUC. We will visit!

To the Muzz (Modern Huzz) Seniors, I will you more dancing in the future! Thank you for the most fun dancing I’ve ever had over the past 2 years. Please come back and visit next year!

To the Og Jalsa Modern fam (Elaine, Jake, Anjali, Tommy, Laksh), I will you guys the ability to remember Badtameez Dil choreo forever. Jk I lowkey can’t remember it, but I do remember how Jalsa was like the peak of my sophomore year. I can never thank you guys enough for taking me, Mahima, and Kayleen in and genuinely being the best upperclassmen to talk to. Our I give this to you 9-5 5-9 tiktoks will always be famous. I am so sad to see you guys leave but I wish you all the best!

To Navya, Nandini, and Aashi. My 06 Seniors, I will you guys the most amazing upperclassmen in college because that’s what you guys were to me. Thank you for carrying clash and being a part of 06 drill this year. You guys are all so incredibly sweet and gorgeous. Navya, I will you all the Katseye photo cards you can get. I love talking about Katseye and Taylor with you. You always match my energy when we talk and that is my favorite thing about you. To Nandini, I will you more chances so show off your Jennifer Coolidge impressions because it is SO. GOOD. Seriously, I love seeing you shine on stage and you captivate me every single time I watch you (woah I feel poetic). To Aashi, I will you more people to steal your milk so you don’t have to finish it all. Lol. I enjoy hunting you down with Nidhi so we can have milk for our boba. That’s besides the point, I hope we will stay in touch!

To Carissa & Aria, I will you guys more Girls in CS! Thank you for being awesome Co-prezies. We will miss you next year and I hope you guys have a good time in college!

To Aarna, I will you a less stressful time in college. My LEAD Co and B-Wing buddy, you have taught me so much and given me amazing advice. I had the best time in LEAD with you teaching and also just talking about random things. You are so hardworking and I know you will do great in your future. I remember meeting you in during move in day for the first time my sophomore year and talking to you lol, but I’m so glad we got closer this year. I will miss you a lot.

To Jongwoo, I will you more Hichews and Sour patch kids (because I ate all of yours). Thanks for being an awesome Co and also giving me great advice! Also for helping me plan my epic promposal obv. I wish you all the best!

To Jordan, I will you the ability to wish somebody a happy birthday on their birthday. You are actually hilarious and I enjoyed being in your wing for the past two years.

To all the other seniors, best of luck in your future endeavors!

Tony Han

Dear Kale Suarez, I will you the ability to tolerate weird noises. I believe you were the first IMSA upperclassman I ever talked to, during the early days of the IMSA Discord. You taught me pretty much everything I needed to know going into IMSA, and even helped me out when I screwed up and almost got myself in an angry confrontation with another IMSA parent. I’m not actually sure if you remember, but I definitely do. I guess it’s been a pretty wild ride since then, for both of us. Since the beginning of sophomore year, our friend groups have certainly diverged, and I guess I didn’t really connect with my big sib as much as I could have. However, even though our paths went different ways, I’ll still never forget getting adopted by a random IMSA student because he believed I had potential.

Dear Vincent You, I will you the ability to sweep the Ivies (for graduate school). I know that people like to use the StudCo episode as a method of mocking you, but I want to say right now that this is not the intention here. You are the reason why I wanted to run for vice president, and the inspiration behind the ideas of my own speech. Though you may not have intended it, it was your words that I heard as a sophomore on the bleachers that made me believe that I too could try making IMSA a better place. And though people may mock you for a term that was unfairly cut short, I want you to know that despite your obstacles many others and I would still agree that you have truly had an impact on our community. I’m not sure how much of StudCo can say that about themselves.

Dear Jacob Nendza, I will you the bench. In a way, the people on the soccer team were my first friends at IMSA, and as a sophomore you were the first person I met as the only other goalkeeper on the team. Thanks for being supportive of me during my short spell with you guys, and even though we lost quite a lot it felt good at least losing with other people. That was a joke please don’t be mad

Dear Ibrahim Bah, I don’t have anything to will you :( but thanks for being a cool friend both years we’ve known each other as well as using your debate club expertise to polish my speech.

Dear Honorary 05C Down Quad (Arjun Brahmadam, Shrishant Hattarki, Asad Sheikh, Saad Sheikh), I will you the actual down quad. You guys were basically my introduction to 05 hall culture, and I cannot thank you enough for what followed as a result. I will never forget all the great moments that you all have given me, like those late nights in the up quad or when I finally figured out the shuffle-step in 05 drill. Even though we always clowned around with everyone else in 05C Wing, I’m glad I managed to find a community that I could genuinely call family under the façade of humor we painted together.

Arjun specifically, thanks for emotionally supporting me when I really needed it, especially when I emotionally crashed out this year. I guess it may not have seemed like much, but having someone to vent to late at night completely saved me from losing it sometime during second semester. Sorry if I made you stay up a little later than you might have wanted.

Dear Georgi Panchev, I will you another percent of the IMSA experience, and the ability to lock in in college. I know most of our interactions have been online, but despite this disconnect, I still admire the seemingly encyclopedic knowledge that you have of IMSA lore.

Dear David Weng, I will you a better French grade. Sorry about the diss track by the way. I genuinely think quite highly of you when it comes to disciplines outside of foreign languages. Please don’t take any of that to heart.

Dear William Cahill, I will you a fixed chess locker. I guess we didn’t really know each other until your senior year, and I kind of wish we bonded together better your junior year on the soccer team given what I found out about you through our mutual connection to Jacob Plotnick.

Dear Ian Chung, I will you an obedient lunch line. You kept order in our society even when faced against the tyranny of the IMSA administration. There are many heroes in our society; some cure diseases, some feed the hungry, and some defy their authoritarian overlords to dispense vigilante justice. Your bravery, your desire for change, will go a long way to truly advance the human condition. There may never be someone quite like you, but we will see.

Dear Kyle Elzy, I was going to will you something but then I realized that you’re staying another year as a super senior. So I’m sure I’ll have the time to give something to you later :D

Dear Advayth “Adi” Karthik “Let’s Roll” Pashupati, I will you all the quiz bowl math tossups you can ever dream about. Saving you for last here. Thanks for being an older brother to me during your senior year at IMSA (let’s not talk about last year, that is not important). You stuck to quiz bowl even when every other senior left, and I’m glad you were this dedicated because you were the leadership our team needed this year. I know I whined to you a lot about my life when it became a dumpster fire, and maybe it wasn’t the best for other people to deal with my emotions in that way, but I’m glad you gave me advice to help me through it anyway. I’m definitely going to miss the structure and stability you provided to both my life and the quiz bowl team. But I’m sure whatever happens, we will end up as classmates again in another life, either literally or metaphorically. See you at HSNCT. Let’s Roll!

Veeksha Karra

To Shatakshi Chatterjee, I will you the Willy Wonka chocolate factory because I know how much you love chocolate. From devouring my cookies and cream chocolate bar to my Costco box of brownies. I’m gonna miss you so so much, you have no idea. Thank you for being my first friend here at imsa and for being an amazing big sib. I know you say how you want to be just as good as your big sib, but I think you might be even better. Speaking of him, I will you sleep. the amount of times you tell me you pulled an all nighter or got like an hour of sleep, and then the next day you’re just as energetic amazes me. you are an amazing person and I know you’re gonna do great things at northwestern! I love you forever!!

To Kavya Uppal, I will you an endless amount of orange flavored alanis. I remember you telling me it was your flavor and if I’m being honest, I gave you that exact flavor because I hated it. But everything worked out! Anyways, you are such an amazing person and I got so lucky to be able to live across from you. I always love hearing your shenanigans and funny stories. You are such a dedicated person and loyal friend and you care about people so much. You’re going to do amazing at UIUC my CS queen! I love you so much and I’m gonna miss you!

To Yicole Ng, I will you a great summer! You made my summer from two years ago amazing at Summer@IMSA! I remember thinking that if I got into IMSA, I wanted to be your friend! You are such a kind person and you always have a smile on your face whenever I see you! I’m gonna miss you soo much but I know you’re gonna do great things! ilyy!

Vijnna Appasani

To Ayesha Bobat, I will you a new underclassman who’s also your age and lots of new clothes. Thank you for sticking by me when things got hard and for always understanding. I never thought someone would match my overconsumption bogus need for shopping but you always got me. I love our stupid conversations and old post 10 check laughs. I love you and miss you so much when I look into c-wing and see everyone but you. #leftme. I hope I see lots of you this summer but at least we got WEEKENDDDDD!!! Love you

To Aneesh Bargaje, I will you a new trio. Coming to IMSA, I didn’t think I would find people that were funny and stupid, but hey I got you! Thanks for making me laugh everytime I see you, and staying real with me. Thanks for all the fun memories and making me not seem like a loner! Love you, I’ll miss you!

To Jeffrey Yao, I will you a better obsession… Thanks for making math fun this semester. You’re right. We get no work done. I think we have some pretty funny conversations, even though they are all rants. I wish you the best goodluck yaogurt don’t do stupid stuff!

To Carissa Chen, I will you a shark! Thanks for being a great co and making me laugh when we’ve both had long days. I always looked forward to lead. We made some good memes and laughs with our class. I’ll miss you next year when my co wont be as good as you!

To Luci + Manu, I will you guys better TikToks. I’m gonna miss having you guys in LEAD. Prep modules won’t be the same without you guys. Love you guys! I’ll miss you

To Alex, I will you a long relationship with Brooke Hobbs. Thanks for making us laugh and being a funny guy. Don’t dislocate your arm, or it won’t be very useful for your future endeavors. Goodluck!

To all my 02 Seniors (Ayesha, Chiara, Sarah, Bisana, Maya), I will you guys a thank you. Thank you for all the memories and laughs. Thank you for staying up with me and being there for me. Thank you for your food! I love you guys so much and am so sad you guys are all leaving.

To Laksh Mehta, I will you unlimited dominos pizzas and lava cakes. Thanks for being my biggest supporter and making me laugh on my hardest days. Coming to IMSA, I did not think I would find my people, but I found you somehow! Sitting there on the first day of math, I would not have thought we would have been such good friends. You’ve always put a smile on my face and been there through all the ups and downs. You’ll do great things just don’t piss off your teachers, you be doing that. Thanks for all the food, next year I won’t have my order buddy ☹️. I don’t know what I’ll do without you and your random jokes. I guess I’ll miss you the most! Peace out and goodluck! Love you

Vishruth Pesala

To Noel Skariah, I will you fun. Genuinely, you’re such a fun guy to be around! Orgo with you this semester was so fun and I’ll miss our interactions! Also, thanks for being part of why I came to IMSA. Please stay in touch? I hope you have a great time at Case Western!

To Lily Zhang, I will to you no more hard math problems. You’re such an amazing senior! Working on POTWs was not great, but I hope you don’t have to do that ever again! You were one of the first few seniors I talked to at IMSA, and that really helped me integrate into the IMSA community. You were in at least one class with me every sem, and I have to say that really changed how that class felt. Working on MI4 problems sets in 02 commons was such a vibe my soph year! Good luck at Case Western!

To Sydney Hunter and Ibrahim Bah, I will you a chill, drama-free college life. Though we only really interacted for ISP, I wish we could’ve talked more. From crashing out during ISP events to complaining about fellow members and admin, thanks a lot for being such kind and responsible people, and really showing me what it means to maintain a club. Thank you for all the guidance you’ve given me in ISP, and being part of the reason I decided to join board. You both always took on way too much work for your own good, so I hope you both have chill and enjoyable college life!
