As the years have gone on, various aspects of the IMSA experience have inevitably evolved. However, despite the time difference, there are experiences that are transferable and serve as useful advice. Thus, in order to shed light on the innovative experiences from IMSA’s early years, alum and the first Student Council president, Carrie Steyer, is the first participant of Student Council’s newest event, Words from the Wise. During this event, Mrs. Steyer will deliver a speech pertaining to her experiences as a leader of IMSA’s charter class while also expanding on her suggestions, tips, and general comments that may be of use throughout our lives.
Mrs. Steyer’s initiative and leadership capabilities extend much further than her experience at IMSA. After Mrs. Steyer’s graduation from IMSA, she attended Notre Dame and earned a degree in Mathematics. She was a self-employed consultant for twelve years and eventually became the director of a consulting firm for the past nine years, with a specialty as an advanced analytic.
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to hear insight from one of IMSA’s first influential leaders. Also, there will be a question and answer session subsequently after Mrs. Steyer’s speech.
