Welcome to The Acronym’s Senior Wills of 2026! After a long (or maybe short) three year tenure at IMSA, our departing seniors have spent a long time writing heartfelt messages to their underclassmen to leave behind a part of their legacy with the future of IMSA. We hope you appreciate these thoughtful words from our lovely seniors as they prepare for life beyond IMSA as official uncs. All of the wills from Kennedy Su to Zephyr Peek (sorted alphabetically by first name) are in this page. Check out part one (Aarav Lala to Kayleen Yoo) here.

To my lil bros Issac Lee and Lucas He, I will you guys my entire uniqlo collection (including 12 oversized airisms), my labubus, my matcha making set, all of my feminist literature, my massive korean skincare collection, and my keshi albums. You guys are amazing and some of the best people i’ve been around at imsa, y’all are gonna be great next year and I’ll miss the both of you. I also give you guys any college advice or free help whenever you guys want as you begin the journey into becoming tall socal raving performative ABBs.
To Aidan Chang and Cooper Lee I will you guys down the official Golf Captain position (idk if I can do this) and Coach Kotlarczyk. One of you guys will need to keep him company up front every practice and game and talk to him and you guys better play every single game. Being captain is the secret to college success so don’t worry about apps and play as much as possible (hopefully I didn’t ruin the streak for you guys). But seriously, being with the two of you the past 2 years has been amazing and you guys are the team, you’ll miss it when it’s over so make sure it’s fun and you guys do good. lwk tho don’t do too good so imsas best season can stay with me
To Aditi Goyal I give free brunch and my great ability to stay locked in (this is so sarcastic). Carried me throughout first quarter of BC 2 and erie entirely of Orgo so thank you so much and now you are approaching the end so you can finally have senioritis and bum around. You can also make your juniors send you answers and do work but hopefully you will be much more locked in than I ever was my senior year.
To Olivia Pan I will you a better animated season of invincible next year and hopefully it won’t be as terrible as i think it’ll be. I will you also my height as well as you lwk might need it so you can become 6 foot as well. I also give you my ability to leech off of other people’s answers (sorry about that this year I was too unlocked). Thank you for giving me answers in BC and Mech/E&M.
To Adviath Ballem, I will you my Kpop photocards, albums, lightsticks, and 22 inch waist so you can live your dream out and get an ABG girlfriend. I also give you my amazing smash and geometry dash skills as they are way superior to yours and maybe one day you can beat a hard demon like me.
To Kavyaa Naveen, I give you my perfect attendance and proficiency with Patho if you take it senior year. I know my attendance in A&P 1 was extremely stellar and inspiring so it’s okay if you can’t live up to it. But thank you for alerting me when I missed an assignment and sending stuff over. I apologize for my laziness and I know you’ll be much better than me.
To Lota Onwuameze, I will you down my amazing Halo skills as you guys definitely need them after the random all nighters we had losing game after game. I hope that you can carry your underclassmen in Halo the same way I put you guys on my back every single game. (seriously tho you didn’t go positive once especially at like 5 am)
To Chris Carmona and Henry Maginel, I give you guys a good wing because you guys made my senior year fun especially during rly late nights. Yall mean a lot to me.
To Nara Feng, I give you a W ATC buddy. Our talks were fun and your lore was funny and interesting, and honestly really random.
To Ahkil Nandilkumar, I will you down a car so you can bag the asian huzz instead of using your bike.
To Soham, I will you many more conference trips.
To Sid, I will you more speakers.
To Christian, I will you less sicknesses from touching wild animals.
To Kalyan, I will you more geodesic domes.
To Matthew Park, I will you more PRs.
To Aiden/Ian, I will you in2cysec <- keep it alive.
To Wyatt, I will you a loving puppy.
To Big T/A, I will you a working jump shot.
To Mithil, I will you a growth spurt.
To Cayden Szeto,
I will you to get into a better college than your sister and food. Keep ur grades up jit.
To Dweny, I will you the ability to visualize 3D surfaces, a constant supply of brainrotted Reddit posts, and your long-awaited SSS. I am honestly so glad we met in German last year; little did I know that sitting in that class would lead to me finding such an amazing friend. You’ve made this year so much better, and I know you’re going to absolutely crush senior year. Please, please, please keep in touch.
To Gauri, I will you an even longer list of quotes and a perfect Connections streak. It’s been so fun hanging out with you this year, from our random hallway conversations to intersession ping pong. Have an amazing senior year and keep in touch!
To Ihita, I will you infinite indulgence days and a pink and purple My Little Pony. I’m so glad we ended up in Compu Sci together. I think we spent more time talking than actually coding, but it’s the only reason I didn’t lose my mind. I’m going to miss our random deep-dives. Have the best senior year!
To Sasha, Radhini, and Dania, I will you all a stress-free senior year. Thanks for making my schedule bearable! I wouldn’t have made it through class without all your yapping. You all are going to kill it next year, just remember to actually open a book once in a while before you check out for good!
To Dhruv Ra (the sun god), I will you an actual mattress. Thank you for all of the sleepovers but I refuse to let you sleep on the floor with nothing but a hoodie pulled up over your head. Makeshift couch cushion mattresses are the best I can do but I hope you’re able to get better sleeping arrangements in whatever college you’re going to (please stop editing your college list). Have a great senior year, and please hop off arch linux!
To Hari Ananthakrishnan, I will you a better entry point teammate. Sorry for selling at loud mode because I kept setting up proximity mines and triggering them myself. We can run stealth duos though, I’m much better suited for that. Thank you for being an awesome friend from the first day I met you (or the first message I sent to the mysterious Indian boy on the server). I wish you the best!
To Dominic Zhu, I will you the Khaby Lame mechanism. Thank you for putting up with my antics during French class (hey at least we got a good grade on that presentation!) Don’t get too anxious about junior year, I’m sure you’ll naturally get into the flow of things. Continue aurafarming in the group chat for me!
To Vedant Sedhurasan, I will you more movie roles. I quite enjoyed your role in the beautiful union that was the 05 movie this year, and I appreciate everything you’ve done for Clash. Have a good junior year, and I wish you all the best!
To Kaustubh Bukkapatnam, I will you even more GPTed research papers. Okay I’m kidding, still though, please stop all nighter-ing just to write more papers. From studying AP mech to grinding French, thank you for being a friend through it all. Please do not go unplugging SSDs at whatever ivy league you go to though.
To Maggie Doctor, I will you two more years with some roommates that are your own age and not entirely crazy. I also will you the mattress topper that you spent ten minutes playing with that one day so that you can get some better sleep in the next few years. You have been one of my most favorite people on this campus over the last three years; you are mature, intelligent, capable, funny, and deserving of everything good in your life. I know none of us expected to room with a sophomore (or you with three seniors) at the beginning of the year but I wouldn’t have wanted any other quadmate! I love you so much and I know your going to do amazing things, I just hope you don’t forget about the crazy seniors you lived with this year.
To Chloe Feng, I will you the courage to yell at and shush everyone you need backstage when you ninja. I also will you amazing plates of food at every culture show and some napkins just in case the food moves you to tears again. I know we only really talked during the last culture show but I wish we had a few more shows to work together because you are so sweet and funny! I know you’re going to do great if you choose to ninja again, you already have it mastered.
To Amit Prakash, I will you the ability to “fly solo”, as you called it, whenever LEAD calls for it. You did an amazing job in LEAD this semester and I am glad I felt comfortable leaving you to facilitate by yourself when I needed to cover another class. I will you a great senior year of LEAD even though a lot will be changing; I know you are a strong facilitator and you will be a great co! I also will you and acceptance to UC San Diego (even though you’re already in!) so you can live your best California life.
To Marlan Anderson, I will you a senior year where you aren’t a nepo baby. You haven’t ever had to lean on me too much, but I know that even without me you will do great next year. I will you some extendeds at home to yourself and the gift of being allowed to play video games until 2AM. PS, while I’m at college Mom and Dad are going to make sure you lock in for college, keep your grades up and get some more summer positions! You got this :)
To Olivia Hinton, I will you infinite visits with Melon the kitty and gossip sessions with the people in your wing next year. I love talking with you during 10 check and on the weekends when there’s only a few of us left. You are going to make a great teacher one day, if you choose to go to Oregon State, I’ll be there to show you around!
To Tanya Johnadula, I will you the happiest senior year ever. I love you so much, and you are genuinely one of the kindest and sweetest people I have ever met. I never want you to hesitate to reach out because I will always answer your texts and calls (or call back eventually lol). And seriously, do not even stress about college because you are going to go on to do such amazing things. I love that you come to me for advice sometimes, and I never want you to stop doing that. Also, never lose your passion for medicine because I know one day you are going to be an amazing doctor!
To Devika Kalavagunta, I will you the funnest and most stress-free senior year. I’m so happy that you were one of the first underclassmen I met at IMSA, and living in your wing for a year was honestly one of the best experiences ever! You are one of the kindest and smartest girls I’ve met, and I can’t wait to see where you end up and all the amazing things you’re going to do. Just remember to enjoy your senior year and not take everything too seriously, because the time honestly passes so quickly. Spend your time doing things you love and surround yourself with people who encourage you and make you happy. Also, I will you lots of peanut butter lol, and I hope you find someone else’s fridge to store it in for the year!
To Kate Gossman, I will you an amazing year as HOSA president. You are genuinely so kind and hardworking, and I hope you have the best year leading HOSA. I’m so happy knowing that I’m leaving HOSA in your hands, and I can’t wait to see what you do with the largest club on campus :) I know you are going to do such an amazing job. Please reach out anytime you need anything!!
To Fiza Shaikh, I will you another Muslim girl at IMSA. Having you here this year was honestly such an amazing experience. It really felt like having a little sister I could talk to about anything and someone who could actually relate to me. I hope you get an underclassman just like you who makes MSA just as special for you, because honestly I would not have made it through some of our meetings without you lol. I hope you have the best junior and senior year and that you always surround yourself with people who support you no matter what. You are genuinely one of the kindest girls ever, and you deserve friends who treat you the way you treat other people. I cannot wait to see what you do with MSA next year, and you MUST send me lots of pictures so I can stay updated on all the events. Love you :)
To Adam Albdairi, I will you good luck as MSA president for the next two years. I am so excited to see what you are going to do with MSA, and I know Mofe and I made the right choice picking you guys. Just remember to stay on top of everything!! I already know MSA is going to be amazing though. You MUST send pictures of all the events and keep us updated, or Mofe and I will revoke your presidency (remember, we still hold the power). Lol but seriously, keep us updated because I cannot wait to see what you do, and please reach out anytime if you need anything!
To Sahithi Dontaraju, I will you so many more IMSA culture shows. You are genuinely one of the cutest and most talented dancers I have ever met. I’m so happy I got to do step with you and got to know you during all of our practices. You are one of the sweetest and kindest girls ever, and I can’t wait to come back and watch my little daughter in all the culture shows. Love you girl :)
To Sohum Kodilikar, I will you an awesome little sib just like you. Even though we did not get to hang out a ton this year, you were genuinely such an awesome little sib. Honestly, I do not think I have ever met a sophomore who has their life together as much as you do. I hope I was able to give you advice when you needed it, and please never hesitate to reach out. Always keep your passion for medicine because I know you are going to go so far. I’m also so excited that you are going to be HOSA president, and it makes me so happy knowing I’m leaving my club in the hands of my little sib. I cannot wait to see where you end up because I know you are going to do such amazing things!
To John Blomberg, I will you lots of friends and an amazing senior year. I’m really happy I got to become friends with you this year because you are really fun to talk to. I love how you always remember little details about people and ask about things we told you whenever you see us, and I love that you always join us for lunch:) I know you are going to have such an awesome senior year and meet so many cool people! Also, best of luck with all your computer science classes, and do not stress too much about college because you are going to end up somewhere amazing. Never hesitate to reach out for anything!
To Juliene Calago, I will you Peterman and the most stress-free SSS one can have. I spent a long time trying to figure out what to write in this will that could adequately sum up everything I have to say, and came to the conclusion that there will simply never be enough words in the English language to accomplish it. You are my best friend and I don’t think this year would’ve been nearly as memorable or as fun if I didn’t know you. I will forever be thankful that we were put into the same wing and you lived across the hall from me (pancake programming! Juliene goat Juliene goat Juliene goat), because you are one of my favorite people in the entire world. You are one of the most driven and bright people I’ve ever met, and I know junior year has been hard on you, but you have shown time and time again that you are able to beat it, and I know you’ll only be doing bigger and better things as the future approaches. I’ll always cherish the time that we were able to attend the same school and live in the same place, but I know that distance isn’t going to change anything about our friendship. You’re the cooler-than-me younger sibling I never asked for but got anyways (thank god), and I’m always going to appreciate everything you’ve done for me and our friendship. Thank you for dealing with me SSS-ing while you study, teaching me how to hug, forcing me to go on walks with you, drawing doodles on my gum wrappers, letting me control aux when we hang out, and most of all, being my best friend. I love you bro #BestBud.
To Cassie Marvitz, I will you Le-Cassie James and an underclassman who bullies you as much as you bully me. Cassie, you endlessly confuse me in a way I can’t even begin to describe. You are one of the funniest people I’ve ever met, and you’re always able to read the room and start conversations in a way I truly admire. From the first time you stole my tech deck last year to you making the Superman hands at me in the hallway, you have consistently made me realize that maybe underclassman hazing (in a good way) is real and a form of friendship in itself. I hope you know that I am planning on staying in touch after I graduate because you are genuinely such a bright person that I want to keep contact with.
To Alison Fung, I will you many more happy first days of school and all the Ditto Pokemon cards one could dream of. Alison, I don’t know when or how we got so close but I am so glad it happened. You are such a talented and smart person and I will always treasure those Spanish drop-offs and studying times after school. You are earnestly so positive and bright, and I consider myself incredibly lucky to have gotten to know you better this year. Don’t let Yearbook take too much of your time away (trust me, it will if you don’t stop it), and don’t let all your commitments stop you from having a fun senior year. Thank you for screaming “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” at me for like two months past my birthday, and thank you for being such a great friend. We WILL be going to more stationary and trinket fairs in the upcoming future, and you WILL be visiting me in Chicago. And I’m coming back to sign you and Juliene out to go to fun places. Non-negotiable.
To Aadarsh, I will you the ability to freestyle. Not gonna lie I’m glad you walked into our room junior year and became friends with me and Akshat at mach Jesus. the room was a lot more fun when we had a professional camera man recording the top 3 best freestyles humanity has ever seen. But you’ve def grown from a lil jit into a slightly less little jit, and I’m proud of all the larp you’ve told me about. Over the past two years getting to know you has been a great experience even tho I can never sleep before 3 am on a tuesday night. I hope you spart into a good senior year. And delete that pic of me. You know which one.
To the big Tiksh, I will you a clavicular frame mog build. Even though you’re a sophomore and schmen, I had a lot of fun charging you rent the entire year. You made up for the lack of space in the room (I couldn’t open my closet on SIR mornings tho). I remember my first impression of you being a little boy in the gym that somehow knew every single science based lifter. I’m not gonna lie half the time I never knew what you were talking about. I hope your future is a bright as your buzzcut head. I will 100% never step foot in Iowa in my life just gonna let you know.
To Joven, I will you anything but the fake old money thing you were showing me on TikTok. Please do not dress like that. But more than that I’m glad someone from my old school went to IMSA even though I didn’t know you until you showed up on campus. I’m really proud of how much you’ve grown from being that shy ahh boy at convocation to an alpha. You lowkey never fail to make me laugh. I’ll probably see you still next year and we gotta do smth over the summer. Stay tuned bruh and dont pin topical GHKCu.
To Sameer, I will you a headline at Summer Smash sometime in the near future. Only other jit thats into music on campus and you need to keep at it cuz you finna be making bread on bread on bread like a Big Mac.
To Sree, I will you peace and quiet, cuz you def need it. Being friends with you over the course of senior year has been def something. But I am def proud of ur resilience. Also how did you break ur arm bruh. Nah but fr senior year wouldn’t be nearly the same without you. Also no, me and akshat aren’t a thing, sorry to disappoint. You need to stop watching heated rivalry.
To Lavads, I will you smth, but I can’t say. I’ll tell you in 3 months.
To Kyleigh Rinkel, I will you all my tech responsibilities and the mess of the backstage workshop. Just as Kyra willed to me, I hope you get more progress done on the mess next year than I did. I also hope you have the best time next year. Running tech is a lot of work and responsibility, but I know you can do it. Good luck recruiting and training your techies. Reach out if you ever need help with anything, and I look forward to seeing all that you accomplish (You better invite me back to the shows). While I know you will do great as the future tech director, I hope you also take the time to have fun in your senior year. Your upperclassman friends may no longer be on campus with you, but we are just a message away and you deserve to have an amazing experience. I wish you the best of luck and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you do, next year and beyond.
To Alyssa Smith, I will you the drama club hair and makeup department. You have so much talent and learn quickly, which can come in handy when figuring out a new hairstyle or makeup looks during tech week. I hope you can find some good underclassmen to work with, train, and build the makeup team into what I know it can be. You have all the skills necessary to do so. I may not have worked with you for long, but if there is anything you need help with, just reach out to me. Also, don’t be afraid to ask Dowling for new supplies, we could always use more foundation shades or makeup wipes. Outside of tech, I hope you have a wonderful year enjoying all the good times. The best of luck corralling all the actors.
To Imisi Ajiboye, I will you all the strength to deal with Kyleigh as your roommate for one last year. I may never understand the relationship you two have with each other, but despite all the complaints, I know you all have fun, sometimes. I hope you have a great senior year and continue dancing, you are amazing at it.
To Mercy Hunley, I will you all the strength in the world. I know it has been a rough year at times, but you have made it through. Next year may also be difficult, but I know you can do it. I hope you continue to find the activities you enjoy and hope you decide to do tech again. Alyssa will be a great mentor to show you all the ropes of hair and makeup I was unfortunately too busy to do this year. I look forward to seeing all that you accomplish and please reach out, I would love to hear what you’re up to.
To Drama Club, I will you good luck with all the future endeavors of the club. I hope you are all able to perform shows that you love and that you have fun while doing so. Drama club has been like a family to me and I hope it can be for all of you.
To The Techies, I will you luck completing all the future shows. I don’t know what set challenges may be thrown your way but perseverance and trial and error has gotten us this far. Also, don’t be afraid to ask people outside of drama for help, Grant has a lot of building knowledge and can be a lot of help on difficult sets. I also will you Humbaba, may he live on forever.
To Drama Club board, I will you short productive meetings, because I think every meeting we have had this year has been at least an hour. I hope running everything next year will be smooth and successful. It can be a lot of work, but you all will do great.
To 01 C-wing next year Seniors, I will you Bibble. Please take good care of Bibble and sign the flag, just as the rest of us graduated seniors have done. I hope the underclassmen continue to love Bibble as our mascot as much as I have so you can continue the tradition and pass the flag on. I also hope the wing next year is filled with amazing people and the community and events are the best. Also, if anyone wants to know the story of how Bibble came to be in the wing, just reach out, I’m happy to share.
To anyone I have inevitably forgotten, I will you the best of luck in your future years at IMSA and beyond. Enjoy all the good times and good luck with all the work. Sorry I forgot to mention you, I wrote these at the very last minute.
To Soham Batra, I will you an amazing senior year, and a great college. I remember meeting you at Aniketh’s house for the first time. We have both evolved a lot since then. I already know you will do great. If you need anything and I mean anything, don’t be a stranger, I’m just a phone call away. Finally, thank you so much for being a competent spikeball teammate and an even better friend. I hope you can find a partner for a dynamic duo as good as ours. Watch out for bushes!
To Siddarth Karuturi, I will you good luck for acceptance into Case Western. I know it has been your dream school for a while. Keep up the good work, it will go a long way. Please practice spikeball so you can be a good teammate, and don’t bush camp. Watching basketball with you has been awesome.
To Akshath Sharma, I will you an underclassman as goated as you. You’d better get that 5 on AP Microeconomics. I remember when my neighbor asked me to find you, and she told me to go look for this Shath person. I spent like two weeks looking for you, just to randomly stumble into your room. That day, I didn’t realize what a great duo we would become. Keep being a Bears fan.
To Tanush Shastry, I will you a 5 on AP BC and the power to make your dreams and aspirations come true. There are still many obstacles ahead, but I’m sure you will do great. I want you to know you’re better than Sid at basketball, and that steal you did from him was insane.
To Nikhil Bauman, I will you an apprentice as good as you. I remember my first interaction with you was when you asked if you could take a Lex sandwich out of the cafeteria. Great work so far with your sophomore year, and keep up the good work. I guess it was a stroke of luck that we were window mates. You’re as big a TV fanatic as me, and we have all the same opinions about the Flash. You’re on track to achieve all your goals and aspirations, just improve your track running times.
To Kalyan Cherukuri, I will you making MIT and MOP camp. Kalyan, you’re probably one of the people from IMSA I have known the longest. I remember when you were that Pokémon-obsessed nerd who used to come to the park to play basketball. Thank you for being a good wing-mate junior year, and for giving your horrible advice on, well, anything and everything. Binary options will take you very far. Stay away from candy grams! Please remember your day one when you’re rich.
To Mithil Shah, I will you a fun junior year. Good work on your sophomore year so far. You have done an outstanding job. Keep up the good work for the obstacles ahead. You got this! Stay out of trouble, remember to keep your shoes on.
To Atharv Kanchi, I will you IMSAKanchi2. You will have an amazing senior year, and good luck with college applications. Also, remember you’re the Elements of Computing Systems GOAT.
To Arun Muthukkumar, I will you an amazing senior year, and good luck with college applications. I will never forget bonding with you in the first semester of my junior year. Improve your attendance, and continue being a good person.
To Pratayanch Sav, I will you an amazing senior year full of great college decisions and memories. I hope you get all the Jolly Ranchers you want. I know you ate a lot last year. Please find a better quad layout, and make sure to keep your room clean in college. Don’t lose yourself over the stress of the college application process, you got this, Krish!
To Naga Mudda, I will you a four-leaf clover and tons of good luck for college applications and dodging train cars in Subway Surfers. It was a blast playing Pokémon Go with you, though, just remember I will always be better than you. Jellicent will always be your bane! Avoid chimichurri sauce, please stop eating it, I don’t want your quadmate to keep complaining. Thank you so much for being a good friend and giving terrible girl advice. BC 1 was really fun with you!
To Nehum Koti, I will you an amazing senior year full of fun and surprises. Thank you for being my Stranger Things buddy. I’m always interested in what you have to say and what new theories you have. You will make a great biomedical engineer. You have beaten your junior (the nether), and now you have made it to the end. But make sure you have lots of beds and catch up on your sleep. Keep up with the gym grind.
Matthew Park, I will you a great new roommate who is clean and doesn’t mess up your side of the room. I know that you’re stress for college applications, but don’t worry, you’re smart, and you will get into your dream college. Keep up the good work, just like junior year.
To Benjamin Charly, my genuine brother, I will you nothing. I say that because I know you will “will” anything and everything you want in life. You are one of the smartest and hardest working people I have ever met at imsa. Your drive and determination along with your God given intelligence is something I truly admire. That is why I know you don’t need a will from me. I know you will chase every dream you have and succeed in capturing them because you never give up. During my time in highschool, I can confidently say that I have never met someone with a personality as similar to me. The amount of times you know exactly what I am thinking is actually frightening and I pray I am never interrogated by you cause I’d be found guilty every single time. However, despite this, you are also one of the people I am closest to in my life. You are one of, if not the kindest person I have ever met. Your heart is unimaginably pure and I am beyond thankful for having you as such a positive influence in my life. Literally every time I’ve seen you, you have had a smile on your face and your always ready to joke around. No matter what I say… never lose that smile. Whatever is going in my life at any given time, I can always count on you to bring a smile to my face and be there for me. You are one of the few people who know me like the back of their hand, and I am so grateful you are one of those people. Despite being a junior, your mindset and maturity is far beyond your years and I know it will take you far in life. Know that every piece of advice you’ve given me, I have taken to heart and have found use for it. I can genuinely say you have made me a better person inside and out. And even after all that, your greatest quality is not that you’re hardworking, but it’s instead your personality. You are one of the most caring and empathetic people I have ever met. Your ability to put yourself in other people’s shoes and understand their situation is a skill many people in the future will appreciate, because I know I have. I can count on you to be there for me every single time, and (since I don’t tell you enough) I appreciate you. Words cannot describe how much I will miss our late night talks and idiotic acronyms/jokes. When I look back at my experiences at IMSA, those conversations are one of the highlights and it is truly something I will never forget. Above all, I’ll miss seeing the one person who I can truly call my younger brother. Words cannot describe how much I have enjoyed my time with you and I know ur gonna do amazing things. Know that I am insanely proud of you and the person you have become…I owe you big time. If I was forced to pick a select group of people to talk to for the rest of my life, you would be one of those people. My dorm room at uiuc is always open for you, so make sure you come by when you visit Blessita! Don’t ever hesitate to reach out whether it’s because you need something or just gossip…I know I’ll be calling your line quite often :)
To Atiksh Sinha, my doppleganger, I will you anger management. Of all the topics I’ve tickedyou off about, including you cooked love life, the world is gonna tick you off even more and your gonna have to learn to control your emotions. Regardless, you’ve been one of my closest friends this year and I am super glad I met you. I’ve enjoyed hitting the gym with you, even though I have to listen to ur endless rants about what’s going on in your life (I’ll still listen everytime don’t worry :) ) However, above all, I know you’re gonna be super successful in the future. You’re one of the smartest sophomores I’ve met and your ambition to be successful is almost unmatched. I hope you keep that quality with you for the rest of your future endeavors, as it will serve you well. If you ever need anything, don’t ever hesitate to reach out – I’ll always pick up!
To Isaac Lee, I will you less stress. I swear everytime I see you, you cortisol is spiking. I advise you to take a chill pill every once in a while! I’m super glad I got close with you this semester. You’re a fun and outgoing person who is super easy to talk to. I can always count on you to make some stupid joke, or be someone who I can complain about math too. In all seriousness, ur a super smart guy and I know ur gonna do great things in the future :)
To Joven Chinna, I will you an affordable fashion sense. There is absolutely no reason why you need to be spending $500 dollars on a hoodie. However, I want you to make me shut up by making it big in law. In 15 years, if I see you making 500K plus, I will personally buy you any hoodie you want. In all seriousness, your one of the chillest dudes I know and I hope you achieve all the goals you have for yourself. I know aqeel willed you a work ethic so put that to good use in the future.
To Lorenzo Canali, I will you the ability to ragebait less. The amount of times you’ve ticked me off is insurmountable. Every single time you open your mouth I just know some ridiculous statement is about to come out. Despite all this, you are one of the smartest people I know and I i know ur gonna do great things with your life. Your super driven and ur ability to critically think is something I commend. I think we have only had one deep conversation with each other, but that one conversation told me everything about your character and who you are. I want you to know that all your efforts will pay off, and me and the rest of your friends will be rooting for you every step of the way.
To Sameer Parahsar, I will you academic success for the rest of your life. Despite what anyone says, just know I think you are one of the most hardworking people I have ever met. Even though I’ve seen you doomscroll a lot, your resilience and interpersonal skills are something I truly admire and I hope these are qualities that never leave you. You’ve always had a smile on your face and never allowed criticism to bring you down. Instead, you took it as advice, and that is a personality trait that will take you very far in life. You always are someone I can rely on to make me laugh, and I hope you never lose the unique whimsy that makes you the Sameer we all know and love.
To Mihir Parashar I will you a T5 college acceptance and a high paying job in big tech. You’re seriously one of the smartest juniors I know and I know ur gonna put those smarts to good use. In 10 years, I better see you putting all that compusci to good use. I also will u the ability to talk some more. Even though I can always count on a good joke coming out of your mouth when you do choose to speak, I still think you should engage in some more convo! Trust me when I say it’ll be super useful later on in life.
To Aditi Goyal, I will you less stress about college. As someone who is majoring in bme and also was always stressed about my grades, I promise you your grades are not a reflection of who you are as a student and your college decisions. You’re a super smart and kind person and I know you will do just fine!
To Kavyaa Naveen, I will you the ability to be less annoying. I mean it with every fiber of my being when I say you are genuinely the low light of my day. Everytime I see you I just know you’re gonna try to prank me in the dumbest way possible and its gonna tick me off. In all seriousness though, you’re a super joyful person and I think I speak for all my friends when I say you are very enjoyable to be around. Despite your antics, you’re honestly really funny and I’ve enjoyed all the conversations we’ve had in the mhl and the irc stairs!
To Sofiya Patel, I will you more brain rot roblox characters. Ever since the day you almost started crying when I stole your characters, I knew the game was THAT serious. Sorry I stole your tung, maybe one day I’ll be able to pay you back.
To Advaith Balle, I will you a better math grade. Me and you both are getting fried in BC3 rn, but I want you to do better next year. You’re a super smart guy and you should never settle for anything because I have seen you do so much more. You have a lot of potential, just don’t give up.
To Lota Onwuameze, I will you the basketball team. Its no surprise you were our best player this year and it’s on you to continue this year’s legacy. Keep doing big things on and off the court, ur gonna do great things!
To Henry Maginel, I will you many more trips like our intercession trip. Exploring Europe with you was one of the highlights of my senior year and I could not have asked for a better person to do it with. You’re a super funny and outgoing person, traits that I know will benefit you in the future!
To Teagen Fry, I will you a better haircut. Please for the love of god trim the mullet on the back of your head. You’re a good looking guy, but you’re frying your potential by keeping your hair right now…trust me :)
FFC – To FFC, I will you guys a friendship that lasts a lifetime. I really like the dynamic you guys have, and I truly think the bond you guys have is special. The way you guys band together and sacrifice for each other is very admirable and I hope you guys continue to be there for each other after high school!
To Madhu,
I will you joy, happiness, and everything you ever want in your life. Genuinely, my IMSA experience would not be what it is without you. I still remember the day timid, cute, little Madhu walked into the music room for her audition and since then I’ve seen you blossom and mature and grow to become the amazing person you are. I have no doubt in my mind that you are going places and are going to do amazing things in life. I’ll miss singing with (or without) you and I’ll miss calling you my lil poopy.
To Kate,
I will you endless p1 albums and Keeho/Intak photocards. My first lil sib!!! I’ll miss talking during dance practices, I’ll miss talking about our crazy obsessions, and I’ll miss your insane talents and amazing dance teaching skills.
To Sofiya,
I will you endless pickles. My Poofi!!!! I will forever miss pickle eating sessions with my child and playing random games with you for the P(ickle) P(people) podcast. I can’t wait to make it big in the podcasting world!
To Benji,
I also will you endless pickles. They aren’t for you, they are for your sister.
To Snigdha, Cayden, Akshat, Eric (Cheric), and the rest of my Mod21 baddies,
I will you an amazing acapella season! I can’t wait to listen to your amazing arrangements and see your performances! I know for a fact you guys will make it to the semis and nationals and internationals and win all the awards and I will be so proud watching from afar. You can always come to me for anything you need whether that’s music related or being crazy stressed the last 2 weeks before comp, I’m always here!
To Ivan,
I will you Aerospace engineering major and a stacked HayDay farm. You already know why :).
To Alison,
I will you a voice gifted by the gods. I know your talent will take you so far but I hope to see everything you do in life. I can’t wait to see you in operas and shows and making music. Whether you choose to continue with Mod21 or not, I will always be here for you and I’m always someone you can come to for anything.
To Amber, Ashley, Lisa, Ana, Veeksha, Matthew Park, TJ, Natalie, Nancy, Henry, Sophia Shen, Bao, Gurleen, and all my C-Wing Sophomores (Chaitrika, Suma, Cheluchi, Mishi, Shekinah),
I will have an amazing next year! You all have been amazing people I’ve gotten to know this year and genuinely have enjoyed the time we’ve spent whether during class, clubs, dance practices, etc. You’ve all been a huge part of how much I’ve enjoyed my year and I hope you all have the same joy I’ve had.
To my amazing HCC Tanya, I will you the entirety of 02. You are genuinely one of the most hardworking, driven people I know. From what I have seen in my full year working with you, I have observed that you put your absolute full heart into the roles you are a part of. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you and I look forward to seeing all the wonderful things you achieve in the next year! 02 is in really good hands next year! Plz txt me literally whenever, if it be college app help or just bulletin board ideas!
To my third roommate, Jiya Vyas, I will you the white linen air freshener in our room. Every night with you is amazingly chaotic, fun, and refreshing. You once mentioned that our room smells like home to you. This way even when we are away, you can have someplace that smells like home! You are literally so amazing and even though you try to seem nonchalant in public, you are secretly just a silly (little) goose. Even though you weren’t here in my sophomore year, you have made yourself an essential part of my overall IMSA experience and I couldn’t imagine it without you. You are so passionate about things you enjoy and I hope you keep that up cuz you are very driven as well. I can’t wait to see what amazing things you will accomplish next year! Plz feel free to txt, call, ft if you need ANYTHING!!!! I love you so so much and I will miss you so so much!
To my fellow baboon, Madhu, I will you sophomores to adopt next year. First and foremost, thank you so much for being one of the most amazing adopted sophomores to Fatema and I these past two years! I remember last year when we first got close in the first couple weeks of the year. After all the lore drops and late night (sometimes even all night) study sessions, I’ve noticed just how hard working you are and I know YOU ARE GOIN PLACES GURL! You will always be my baby sophomore but I can’t wait to see all you will do next yearrr! I hope you find other sophomores/underclassmen to adopt and have the experience I have had with yall. Plz feel free to reach out for anything you need!!! Love ya!
To my amazing GIS Juniors, Bella, Anushri, Amber, Kate, Nysa, and Sophia, I will you GIRLS IN2 STEM (ofc). You guys have done an amazing job. Each and every one of yall have contributed so much time, effort, and energy into the program and it has all paid off! Thanks you ur help, GIS has risen to its current glory and greatness. I just know in your hands, it is only going to get better and better! I am so sad to be leaving but if you guys need anything please reach out!! (ahem make alumni board ahem) Can’t wait to see all yall accomplish <3!
To the juniors on THE BEST RSL TEAM, Ava, Sujana, Kavya, I will you infinite bulletin board paper and inspo. It has been such a pleasure working with the three of you this year and even though I’ve only gotten to work with yall this year, I can tell how much you guys care about our beautiful 02 community. I couldn't have asked for more amazing people on my RSL team and IDK ur future plans but I hope you guys stay in the RSL program and continue positively impacting the people around you! If you guys need absolutely anything feel free to reach out!!
To my fave soph, Sahithi, I will you a freaking jacket, vitamin c, and earring stoppers. Please refrain from getting sick while I’m gone. I actually can’t believe that I met you only this year and only got close to you this semester! I recall the first time I met you was when I was catching you up on the first two bhangra dances that you MISSED. But you catched up and danced beautifully. I only really know you from all the dances but from all that time spent with you I have learned just how dedicated you are to perfection and just looking amazing. You put so much effort into learning things properly and making sure you do it right! This is an amazing trait to have and will lead you to doing great things! But plz don’t have the cost of greatness be your own well being!! So i better see you wearing a jacket and not overloading yourself! You are such a happy, amazing, and uplifting person and you genuinely made my senior year the best. I can’t even put into words how much I am going to miss you and plz reach out if you need anythinG!!!!!!
To my lil sis and mother, Faith, I will you a replacement for that chopped straightener of yours and a big kitchen! You are such a fun, joyous, and blissful person to have around! Every time i chat with you or hang out with you in the room I feel 10x lighter and happier!! You are so so caring, always looking out for everyone and donating food and snacks to seniors in need! I just know this will translate into your role next year as an HCC!! You are going to bring the 02 community together once again and AWAKEN THE CLASH SPIRIT!!! In all this though please don’t forget to take care of yourself too! I love you so much and I will miss you sooo much! Reach out to me if you need anythingggg!
To my dancing baddie Jiya Chaurasia, I will you Bhangra in diwali 26’. I have had so much fun dancing with you these past two years in moderns and bhangras!! You are so talented and passionate and just goated at spanish . I have faith that you will singlehandedly make bhangra 100% more energetic, exciting, and amazing!!! Can’t wait to see all you do and accomplish this next year, feel free to reach out if you need ANYTHING!!!
To Cooper Lee, I will you your bed. I will now allow you to use it all by yourself to your liking. I will you all the larp at IMSA. I LOVE your PPPersonality. We have the most memories together so know you hold a place in my heart. Thanks for always helping me and giving my food.
To Advaith Ballem, I will you all the Ryse Energy Drinks at Woodman’s. I will never forget our restocking trips to Woodman’s, clearing their shelves of Reign and Ryse. You’re probably the junior I spent the most time so that’s why you’re so cute too because I only hang out with cuties. Synergyyyy. wygh pmd what’s your favorite niche?
To Adam Park, I will you the Koreanness of your hyungnim. You will be the representative of Korea on campus with your Kim Minji flag. From the first time I saw you walking on campus as someone I’d never speak to, to now being the cutest sophomore, we have been through a lot. I truly value our friendship and am grateful for all the food you got me. (northwestern tacos that one night) I am also very happy you were able to start joining me at church and got close to my friends back at home.
To the Underclassmen at the Gym, I will you the 70lb dumbbells, although I hope Moore buys heavier ones by the time you guys are seniors. I will miss yal energy and motivation towards the gym. It’s always a great feeling seeing new people getting into the gym with such enthusiasm and discipline—it’s like watching my younger self. I hope yal continue to go to the gym even throughout the notorious Junior year because it truly does help. Won’t name anyone but seeing some of yal genetics makes me excited to see yal gym progress. Don’t disappoint me and waste your potential.
To Atiksh, I will you AAAAAH AAAH OO OO OOO OO AAAAH!
To Arsh, Steve, Aditya, W.T., and Malakai, I will you the A wing legacy. Make me proud.
To Mauricio, I will that one day you may run the school just like I do.
To Tyler, Aarnav, and Luke, I will that you guys may avoid any criminal investigations that may be carried out against you in the coming years.
To Isaac, Luke, Suman, Carmine, and all the rest of Jazz Band, I will you the ability to play Spain better than anyone. Certainly better than the elitist jazz musicians who aren’t even self-taught.
To Amit Prakash, I will you a bose speaker to help with airpod addiction! When I first met you, I lowkey thought those airpods are a part of you. However, throughout time spent over the years, I realize that sometimes you can hear me. Other than glazing AI and other technological innovations, you find time to troll. It’s legitimately hilarious and you have the power to make others laugh around you. Honestly, you are one of the best friends I have ever had– actually scrap that, you are like the younger brother I never had. I know that you have many ambitions like making UC-Berkeley or rizzing, and I am sure that you will do just that. You better stay in touch with me, and let me know how applications are going. I am gonna miss you bud.
To C-Wing Quad (Nehum, Oscar, Pedro, and Rayan), I will you many late night conversations. Out of all the quads I have seen you are the best (second to mine of course). I never saw so many cracked people locked in and unhinged at the same time. I know y’all are all stressed about college apps, especially Pedro, but just know that college does not define you. It is not a competition, but a way for you to grow and see into what you have achieved all of these years. Nehum, you are a great friend and someone that I know I can lock in with for AdChem. I already know how great of a physician you will be in the future. Oscar, you are an 05er that we need in the future. From our conversations about your vision of hall culture, I ask of you to lead us to win a clash next year, and implement your vision not as an RSL, but as a resident. Rayan, thanks for always being ready to spend time with me, it really meant a lot. Lastly, Pedro, thanks for being the best BC3 peer, and the mathematician I aspire to be in my math courses here at IMSA, while I have a good feeling about you making UChicago next year, just hang in there. You are the best group of people, and I am grateful for the time I spent with you. Good luck, and stay in touch.
To Akhil Narayan, I will you the power to bear Junior burnout. Being an RSL for A-Wing this year, I am glad that you are part of this wing this year. FYI, keep your window blinds shut. Not for you, but for Soham, so that you both can lock in. Actually, you always seem to be locked in, so I have no worries for you in junior year. I really cherish hanging out with you. I have something I want to ask of you– join clash. Join drill. Join culture shows. Always try to go out of your comfort zone, and you won’t even know IMSA passed by (trust me I know). IMSA is memorable that way, as I am leaving I cling on to those memories. As always you can contact me if you need any advice or anything. Enjoy the next two years.
To Akhil Nandakumar, I will you a better alarm tone. I know that sophomore year started a bit rocky for you, but I have seen you grow. You became more locked-in, and more social. I know you are capable of even bigger things. To me, IMSA isn’t just a place to grow intellectually, it also is a place where you can build character, grit, and learn what type of person you want to be. All I can advise is be part of every moment academically and socially, because the transformation is uplifting. If you need advice or anything, you can always contact me.
To Solomone, I will you positive vibes. You were a wonderful person to meet Junior year, and I consider you one of my loyalist friends. I remember you helping me search for my neighbor’s phone for a long time, and I am thankful you took out time to help me find it and come to my birthday party. Thanks for hanging out with me for everything and being a great RSL. I know that with you, 05 is in safe hands. You, my friend, have only one year left after this. Cherish it, embrace it, because before you know it, it will be gone. I know you are locked for college apps, so I won’t give you the spiel. I would love you to stay in touch, and definitely let me know how college apps go.
To Shlok, I will you a year without AdChem. I know we got to know each other better this year, but I am glad I got to be with you in both AdChems and SpecFic. You are crazy, locked in and smart. Thanks for carrying our team in labs. I am thankful I got to know you more, and I see you going to great places in the future. Definitely keep in touch.
To Vedant, I will you a less stressful senior year. You are a great person, and I am glad I got to meet you. Thank you for getting me that doordash order that one time. I have just one piece of advice for you which is to embrace campus life just as much as your academics. Don’t forget to live your life man. I know you got junior year so lock in! Stay in touch.
To the volleyball team, I will you to go undefeated next season. I have had so much fun playing alongside everyone and going to practice everyday. It’s awesome to see everyone improve from tryouts to the end of the season, especially for people who have never played before. I wish everyone the best of luck and a successful, injury-free season in the upcoming years.
To Oscar Lee, I will you to win the Valorant E-Sports championship. I’ve had so much fun over the last two years from when I met you from Valorant, to Fortnite, to studying for math. I don’t know how you manage to keep A’s while playing for 2-5 hours everyday, but if it works, it works. Also make sure you keep your roommate in check. I know he can be a bit annoying sometimes but at least make sure he doesn’t fail anymore classes. I hope that you can see your dream to walk across the LAN stage for Valorant ISHEA alongside Weihong Chen, Nathan Crespo, and Jazz Gallegos.
To Jazz Gallegos, I will you to be the starting varsity right side. Peppering everyday at practice is so much fun, even if you can’t properly snap on attacks. Hopefully over summer you can improve your technique even further to actually hit a target on your attacks. I also hope you can graduate on time after taking your summer classes and get into a good college for engineering. Make sure Oscar doesn’t get bummed out by your shenanigans, and keep up your amazing optimism in life. I met you after meeting Oscar, but it feels like we have spent a lot more time together than I have with him. Please do focus on your work for school and stop spending so much time watching questionable shows (you know what im talking about). Just one more year and you can goof off as much as you want, just lock in bro.
To Krithik Senthilkumar, I will you a successful Tennis and VEX season. I know how frustrating it can be when a robot isn’t done on time and you can’t code it for a competition, but make sure you keep Yotty G accountable for the quality of the bot. He isn’t going to work on it hard enough if no one gives him a push. I hope you can be as good as Luke next year, even if it seems like a far away goal, keep working hard towards achieving it. Of course, come over anytime, especially when you live so close to me and Ven. I’m sure there will be a time next year when you need some advice from upperclassmen once again, and just know I am always happy to help.
To Shlok Choudhary, I will you more peace in life. I know your quad is always chaotic, especially because I can hear it every time they are, and I know next year will only be worse with Yotty, but somehow you still manage to stay locked. One more year of these shenanigans won’t hurt when you’re already used to them. It’s kinda crazy to think I’ve only known you for a year, but I got to have so much fun at 10 check every night. Be sure to enjoy your last year, and don’t ever lose your humor.
To Naga Mudda, Krish and Pratayanch Sav, and Pranave Gadde, I will you guys to go to bed and get some sleep. Every night I always hear you guys up at 2 goofing off, and it only gets worse when Aadarsh comes over. Naga, one day your collection of cards will be worth a lot, maybe even enough for you to make a small fortune. Even if it seems like you should stop and give up, keep collecting them and ‘catch em all.’ Also, get some testosterone pills smh. Krish and Pratayanch, it was surprising to hear you played tennis, but I thought there was a bare minimum level of skill for people to play and you blew that out of the water. Maybe if you keep playing it will get better? Pranav, I know you probably hate your laptop as much as I hate mine, but after one year you can change it out for something better. Nah, you should get a better one. That piece of trash genuinely should get recalled to the factory. I regret spending 700 on such a trashy laptop. Make sure you keep Krish some company as the worst on the tennis team as well, or he might get too lonely down there.
To Soham Batra, I will you some G-fuel. I was honestly surprised the first time you asked for some G-Fuel from me. And I was even more surprised when you said you actually liked it. It’s so much value compared to some other energy drinks (White Monster), but of course, it’s always good to switch it up every now and then. But before you buy some, please improve your pouring technique. Always getting so much of the powder everywhere except the actual bottle will eventually start getting annoying. Also clean up your room bro genuinely what is in there T_T.
To Yatharth Gohel, I will you to lock in. Imma need you to make sure Krithik and the rest of the team has a robot to work with at least 2 weeks before each comp. You always say you have so much going on and can’t work on the bot, but if you just work faster whenever you have time, of course without sacrificing build quality, you will be able to meet the deadlines. You need to lock in for school and stop engaging in “disruptive wing activities.” I know you hate cleaning up as much as me and Vishruth do, so make sure you ain’t a part of the mess next year.
To Pranshu Nautiyal, I will you to stay committed to clubs. On Pranshu.
To Nathan Crespo, I will you to keep “The 5” in check. As the most responsible person in the group, I hope you can keep the other guys in check. Maybe bring a board game to school every now and then so you guys can actually touch some grass and hop off the electronics. If I had known how close you lived to me sooner, I would have come over much more to play the plethora of Catan games you have. Also somehow convince Weihong to hop off the melatonin.
To Weihong Chen, I will you to stop singing everytime your mic is on. I feel like over 50% of what you say can be considered “intrusive thoughts,” including all the songs you sing out of key. Either get better at singing, or just stop, but don’t be practicing in VC. Genuinely can’t hear anything else. Stop taking your melatonin gummies gang. I know you can sleep naturally without them, and you just take them cus you don’t want to hop. I also know that all this “my roommate is sleeping” business is just an excuse so you can scroll on insta and send 10 million reels everyday. Get to diamond and maybe the E-Sports team will have a chance to win next year. Just use some util.
To Ian Wang, I will you to drop some EBK on the incoming sophs. I enjoyed reading your comments in creative writing, even if they seemed gpted. I didn’t know youwe re so locked in until I sat at your table for E and M that one day and you bestowed upon me the knowledge I missed the week prior. I don’t know how you can be funny while saying the bare minimum. Also appreciate the personal email from The Acronym <3.
To Cameron Kubera, I will you some good serves (that actually go into the court on the other side). It’s crazy to see how much you have improved in the 2 years I have played alongside you, but the one thing you seem to never get down is your serve. You have one nasty serve if only you could get it in. Maybe if you start locking in and doing some jump tops in practice, coach would put you in as the serving middle. Also stop going to bed so early. You don’t gotta do anything, just stay up so Weihong can hop.
To Layna Velarde, I will you to be the glue of the girls team. It was a blast managing girls season because of the bright personality you brought to every practice and game. There was never a boring conversation I ever had with you. It’s always funny to see your reactions when you mess up an easy pass, especially a free ball. One of these days you will be able to get every ball up and dime it to the setter.
To Shirley Ning, I will you a good snap on your attacks. You have a good vert and can get a good hit on the net, but you can’t snap your wrist to save your life. If you can improve that while peppering, you’ve got potential to be the ace imo. Maybe also if you get your serves into the court consistently. Thank you for being one of the best underclassmen managers for the boys team.
To Lucas He, I will you to have a fast and flawless recovery. I missed seeing you around campus and at practice. You always made my day when we scored a point and you made the perfect complement for the situation. I love your personality and it always brought a smile to my face when I talked to you, even if it was briefly. I hope you never lose your radiant smile and laughter, and to always stay optimistic.
To Krisha, I will you a surprise birthday party. You are one of the kindest and most welcoming people that I know and I love how you are always looking out for others in small ways. I appreciate your vulnerability and honesty; you always say what is on your mind, even when things are not going your way. Even though we don’t talk as much, our small conversations in the halls or at ten check always brighten up my day. Over the past year, I’ve watched you grow into someone who is independent, confident, and learning how to put herself first. Intramural Sports is in great hands next year! Do not underestimate yourself, and do not forget that there are people looking out for you. I hope that your senior year is amazing, and feel free to reach out if you ever need anything.
To Ana, I will you unicorn playing cards and an endless supply of zerimar aicul and pozole. You bring so much energy and joy to the people around you and you are always the first to ask someone about their day or start a game of charades. You are the life of the party and I hope that you always have people to make inside jokes, play Egyptian Ratscrew, and make a one-word story with. I do not know what this year would have been like without you. Please keep posting on your spam, and I promise I will reply. We will hang out over the summer, and I will stay in touch. I hope that your senior year is everything that you ever imagined and more.
To Mbayie, I will you a study-buddy, a shot put school record, and the ability to participate in as many BSU dances as your heart desires. I enjoyed our conversations in ECS and it always baffles me to hear how talented you are, but your accomplishments are a close second to your witty comments and the joy you bring the people around you. I hope that next year you continue to pursue what you love (even if it’s not Track) and I’m excited to see what you do next.
To Lisa, I will you a teleprompter and endless Percy Pig gummies. In all seriousness, over the past year, I’ve watched you take steps outside of your comfort zone and grow into a confident communicator and leader. From one non-chalant person to the next, I love how you are grounded and unafraid to say what’s on your mind. Beyond CAB, I’m so happy to have gotten to know you as a person, and you’ve shown how much you care about the people around you and your dedication to producing quality work within all your extracurriculars, from MedSoc (Med Fair was super cool btw) to swim. I hope that you continue to grow and push yourself throughout your senior year, and I know that CAB is in great hands. I’m excited to see everything that you accomplish next.
To Ashley, I will you endless PRs in Track next year. I really enjoyed getting to know you through track. You bring positive energy to every conversation that we have, and it always brightens up my day. From learning brief bits of Tagalog, to watching you choreo F-trad, or hearing your church stories, it’s been really interesting to hear about new bits of culture and perspective that I had never learned about before. I hope that you continue to share your stories with the people around you, and that you have an awesome senior year. Feel free to reach out if you ever need anything!
To Veeksha, I will you an out from Indian parties and a win for 02 in CLASH. I remember briefly meeting you at Sohum’s grad party and you mentioned that you wanted to join CAB. Then bada bing bada boom, you were in my hall and then on CAB the next year. You are so multifaceted (basketball, violin, AND great dancer!?) and it’s been a blast getting to know you over the past two years. You are always full of energy and unafraid to speak up. I know that you will continue to improve CAB next year and I hope that you can also bring home an 02 CLASH win. You are a great hypewoman and I know that you will accomplish big things. I hope that your senior year is amazing, and I know that we will see each other again. Don’t be afraid to reach out!
To Maggie and Kate, I will you many PRs during track next year. You two are the ultimate roommate duo, and your jokes and smiles always brighten my day. Maggie, I hope that you eat up Sandwich in the 1600 next year.
To ChEric, I will you an endless supply of henna and whiteboard markers. Everytime we meet, you always have a smile on your face and a witty comment on your tongue, and you spread your joy to everyone around you. Your immense Science Olympiad knowledge, your beautiful drawings gracing the boards of IN2, and your vast brainrot knowledge have truly shown your attention to detail and give you tremendous power to wield your intellect, creativity, and humor to solve any challenge that you take on. You are the last Eric standing, and don’t let anyone forget that. Both Intramural Sports and CAB are very lucky to have you, and I hope you have an amazing senior year!
To Sujana, I will you an incredible little sib and balance over all of your extracurriculars. Although we didn’t talk much this year, I hope you know how much I look forward to seeing what you accomplish. As a basketball baller, CCE prez, a LEAD facilitator, and an epic dancer, you’ve already proved that you’re capable of doing so much. It’s been a real pleasure to watch you give your all to everything that you do and create a community for yourself. You have such a bright smile and your presence brings joy to so many people here on campus. I’m sorry I wasn’t the best big sib, but I do hope to stay in touch! Please reach out if there is anything that you need, whether it’s advice or snack recommendations. I got you.
To Cassie, I will you an underclassman who refuses to call you anything but Cassandra. If there is one person who exudes confidence, charisma, and non-chalance on this campus, it’s you. Your career aspirations and the steps that you’ve taken towards them constantly inspire me. I can’t wait to see what you accomplish.
To Cassius, I will you endless curly fries. Our simple hellos in the hallway brighten up my day. You are so full of life, and you bring that to the community around you. I’m excited to see everything you accomplish next year.
To Lucas, I will you a community that supports you in everything that you do. You are always full of energy and you share your joy with everyone around you, even if it’s with a simple hello in the hallways. You bring so much to our community, and I hope you never forget that.
To Abby and Aditi, I will you an undefeated senior soccer season and underclassman to chat with in your wing.
To Samitha, I will you an underclassman to brave through Spanish 5 with.
To Natalie, I will you an underclassman who calls you Queen Natalie Trinh whenever they see you.
To Isaac Lee, I will you mechanical-failure free competitions during the FRC season next year. I’m excited to see what you do in the future!
To Jack L, I will you a neat, organized, and accessible bellypan for FRC next year and PRs every single track meet.
To Allison, I will you a new camera lens to explore the world with. Even though we haven’t talked much this year, it’s always exciting to hear about your perspectives and accomplishments. I’m excited to see where next year takes you.
To Dhivya, I will you an award winning photograph for HOSA’s medical photography competition and SIR code that always works flawlessly. Let me know if you ever need anything in the future!
To Matthew P, I will you carbon-plated jumpers’ track spikes.
To Lizi, I will you an endless supply of spikes and fast sophomores to run the 4×2 and 4×4 with.
To everyone else whom I may have forgotten or only had brief conversations with (Nara, Sofia, Ananya, Maly, Gurleen, Manvitha, Nisha, Umika, Oishani, Amerah, to name just a few), I will you a year full of exploration, clarity, and community.
To Ana Ramirez, I will you an infinite candy jar. I still remember the first day I met you in physics and thinking, “wow, she’s cool”, and honestly, I was so right. One of our very first adventures together was scouring through main trying find candy, and right then, I knew we were going to be best friends. On a serious note tho, I will you someone who will do all the funny TikToks with you, because we still haven’t done ours and that is not okay. I also will you someone who can keep up with you in Egyptian Ratscrew, but one day I will beat you, and that day will go down in history. You are such a light in everyone’s life, Ana, and I hope you never lose that. Whenever I with you, I’m somehow always laughing (or playing cards…). You are truly one of the most special people I’ve met here. You been the little sister I’ve always wanted, and I can’t believe I have such few days left with you. I hope you have the best senior year ever, cause you made my senior year the best! I wish I met you sooner; that way, we could have made much more memories. Please, please stay in touch. I’m always just a phone call away <3333
To Madhu Prabha, I will you shoes at prom. From the moment I met you at the ice cream social, I knew you were someone special. You have this light about you that's impossible to ignore that makes everyone around you smile. Whether we were freezing in Chicago, swapping shoes at prom, or on a mission to find you a prom date, every moment with you was genuinely the best. You truly are the funniest person ever, and I loved getting to know you this year. I am going to miss you sm the next year. Please stay in touch and reach out. I’m just a phone call away <3
To Luisa Salgado, I will you fob that works past 11. I remember one of the first times I met you was when the lights went out during welcome week, and we started playing cards in the dark. That was one of my favorite memories with you, and the list goes on. I truly will forever miss all our fun iconic moments: playing game pigeon games with u, sitting next to each on the volleyball bus, or just our late-night talks after check. You are one of the coolest, most genuinely fun people I've met here, and I'm going to miss you so much next year. Please stay in touch!
To Samiha, Ana, and Maggie, I will you a new euchre partner. Every S&E spent at that table with you guys is something I'll carry with me forever. Thank you for teaching me this game with so much patience and joy. What started off as me having no clue what a “trump” is, turned into one of my favorite memories at IMSA. I loved every single minute of it, whether it was the wins, the losses, the questionable calls, searching through backpacks, and every moment in between. Euchre will always hold a special place in my heart because of you three. Please never stop being the euchre beasts you guys are.
To Abby and Naomi, I will you a sports season with absolutely zero concussions. At this point, it's become a pattern, and I am genuinely rooting for you both to make it through a season fully intact. Between volleyball and you two laughing at my RSL introduction, I always had the best time with you guys. You are without a doubt two of the funniest people I've met at IMSA. I will you guys the best senior year ever. You deserve every second of it. I'm going to miss you both a lot, please stay in touch.
To Family (Aditi, Madhu), I will adopt a new family. Trying Pop-Up Bagels, hitting Brandy, and just wandering the city with you two was one of our favorite days of senior year. We loved every second of getting to explore the city with you guys. We wish you both infinite Chicago trips ahead, and maybe, just maybe, one where we won’t get frostbite. – mama y papa y older child
To Aditi Goyal, I will you a peaceful sangeet night. I know ISA was hard on you guys this year with combined, but I hope next year is much better (ur gonna be an amazing choreo)! On the bright side, I’m so glad I got to know you this year. You are such a fun and sweet person to be around. I know junior year was tough with Dowling and BC3, but I hope you have an easy and fun senior year. I hope u SSS to max, and take some well-deserved rest.
To Kavyaa Naveen, I will you another senior to jumpscare. I genuinely do not know how you do it, every single time, out of nowhere, you're just suddenly right there. No warning. No sound. Just Kavyaa. You kept me on my toes every single day and I loved every second of it. But beyond the jumpscares, getting close to you this year was one of the best parts of senior year. You are so genuinely sweet and kind, and the people around you are lucky to have you. I hope the year ahead gives you everything you deserve. And Kavyaa, stay on your toes, because one day I'm coming for you.
To Veeksha Karra, I will you a better physics group. Thank you for putting up with us in Sound and Light and our senior antics. Outside of class though, you made everything so fun. From card games to roaming the main building to find candy, you were always down for a good time. You are such a fun, cool person to be around, and you deserve the most amazing senior year ever. Thanks for an amazing year with you.
To Anika Sheela, I will you an ISA board dance. I remember the first time you joined ISA, you were so bubbly and funny, and I knew we were going to be great friends. I know ISA in is in good hands with you, and so I will you the best Diwali show ever. Please make board dance the best it can be, and don’t let Kaylan or Soham ever choreo again. Thank you for being an amazing junior, and I hope senior year treats you well.
To Sahithi, I will you another senior to make fun of. I hate to be ___, but some of my favorite moments this year have been with you, especially when you keep saying, “Ritika, stop being so jobless.” I genuinely hope next year treats you so well. Keep dancing! Keep being the fun, jolly person I know you are, and please stay in touch.
To Henry, I will you the ability to speak all languages. You are such a funny guy and I loved spending time with you and playing cards. Keep being the cool person you are!
To the future debate team, I will each and every one of you at least one tournament where you lowkey lock in (double prep ), sweep 6s, get 6 noms, and drop 1st place or whatever. I can’t put into words how amazing working with every one of you and seeing you grow into proper debaters has been. To Meimei Litowitz, I will you any and all of my prep (hmu whenever you need), first place at Glenbrooks/Harvard, and noteless speeches. To Anoushka Rangan and Ram Nallamilli, I will you all infinite gavels and bids at nats, and to Sid Karuturi I will you the same plus non-GPTed research (trust). To Samir Salamov, I will you my game show intro (or at least, a speech that doesn’t mention your grandma), and to Umika Mittal I will you less beef with Samir. To Neto Akpuokwe, Ashvika Lokesh, and Amelia Weingarz, I will you to have as much confidence in yourselves as I have in you. To Chaithrika Sripathi, Naisha Hamirwasia, Jimena Hernandez, Angela Chen, Layna Velarde, Elina Borodina, Akshara Nair, and Ruchira Nair, I will you all the most banger warrants and impacts ICDA has ever seen and even more improvement than I’ve seen already from you all (is that even possible? idk). To Vedant Sedhurasan, Soham Manna, Pranshu Nautiyal, and Akhil Nandakumar, I will you guys the most generational debate lock-in known to mankind. And to everyone, I will you all the best with all the super cool things you guys are gonna do.
To Krisha Patel, Solomone Somani, and the rest of L&D underclassmen, I will you all the popcorn/nerds gummy clusters leftover from that one event and the insta account. The L&D lock-in this year has to be studied, and it couldn’t have been done without all of you giving it your all every step of the way. Keep being awesome advocates fr fr and good luck with everything next year!
To the Acronym Staff Writers, Graphics Designers, Ian Wang/Amelia Cole, and future Section Editors/Managing Editor, I will you all infinite inspiration for new ideas, articles, editions, and maybe even sections. Never be afraid to go deep into a topic, challenge yourself or the notion of “accepted views,” and write new things. Stay Golden.
To Amit Prakash beta, I will you all of your UC dreams, https://bitly.com/98K8eH, and more clips of middle school me (seriously, please stop unearthing these lol). Getting to know you more this year has been such a wild ride, and I just know you’re gonna do amazing things. For now, just take it slow, lock in for CompuSci and Neural Comp, start your essays (feel free to reach out if you want any help), carry L&D really quickly, start an AI B2B SaaS on the side (please don’t actually do this—without me, at least), and continue being the goat!!
To Luke Miao, Solomone, Avaneesh Sirikonda, Shlok Choudary, Samir, John Schnute, Neil Bose, and the rest of the Table Tennis team, I will all of you a forehand loop twice as fast and spinny as my inconsistent but kinda acceptable shots and, of course, my tomahawk serve. Luke and Avaneesh, you both are crazy consistent, so I will you guys a little bit of random variation in your shots here and there (plus you guys kinda need to carry the team, so I also will you guys cracked sophomores next year). Solomone, I will you an SSS full of table tennis tournaments (I better hear that you cooked everyone). Shlok, I will you a paddle good enough to chop back any and every shot. Samir, I will you a killer backhand. John and Neil, I will you guys the most generational table tennis rivalry since me and Solomone, and a table/net that doesn’t break down every other week.
To everyone who did 05 drill, I will you all the MJ fedoras, the baby powder (iykyk), and a smooth moonwalk. Taizo Smith and Advait Kamath, I will you both MJ’s swag (though you already have this icl). Advik Anand and Krishiv Mahadik, I will you guys generational amounts of aura for locking in and dancing really well despite the time crunches — I better see you guys running it back next year. Dhruv Ravinuthala, George Welson, and Cassius Amegashie-Caref, I will you guys a choreo way better than anything I could have come up with, so that when you run it next year, you can put your all into it and we can take that dub. And to Max Vazquez, my co-choreo, smooth criminal, D1 Bruno Mars glazer (fully justified), and GOAT, I will you a drill team next year with 40 kids (that actually listen) so that you can run wild with all the crazy ideas you have, and a #1 in drill for clash. Keep dancing twin
To Krish, Pranav, Anoushka, Naga (or anyone else from magnet/mead), I will you all the random photos I have of when we were younger, cuz it’s up to y’all to carry on the legacy (haha jk). Keep being locked in, don’t start spamming gpt, and have fun for your senior year!
And to the rest of 05 (especially Soham, Vedant, Soufyan Mouly, Pranshu, Nehum Koti + the quad), I will all of you the Clash win we deserved and yet didn’t get. To those of you who got involved in stuff despite your busy schedules, I’m really proud of you for getting out of your comfort zone and trying something new, and I encourage you to continue doing so in the rest of your time at IMSA. And for those of you who haven’t done that as much this year, it’s never too late to start. I know all you collegemaxxers who only think in terms of “how will this help me with my ECs” may believe such events as Clash, walking trips, and other things are a waste of time, but they are experiences and opportunities for interaction you will never get again. Join a new club just for the fun of it, try dancing in a culture show even if you’ve never done it before, show up to random events and “borrow” the food, but keep putting yourselves out there and truly savoring the IMSA experience. And embody the mindset of overcoming by winning Clash next year!! Also, I will you a DoorDash order with 55 burgers, 55 fries, 55 tacos … (please get the reference) anyway hoo haa 05 and stay lovestruck ♥️
Name: Roy Wang
Will:
To Aidan Chang, I will you fee waivers and full ride acceptances to every college you apply to. We had some fun times, getting fried in modphys, making a mutual friend Shah, and playing quoridor and SushiGo (which we won btw). Pls don’t become an old man golf main and keep playing basketball after I graduate :)
To Matthew Park, I will you an intramural sports team as dominant as the Great Wall. Unfortunately, we’re all graduating, but I believe that you will pull off the ultimate sweep next year.
To Hari Ananthakrishnan, I will you the most relaxing SSS of all time. You genuinely work so hard to the point that this caffeine consumption could kill me twice over, and you deserve some rest. And, maybe this extra sleep will help you carry Scibowl to nats!
To Avery Lau, I will you a happy future with music. Remember to never lean on the wall and to stop talking when Alessandro is talking! And, most importantly, your clarinet is NOT a toy Avery, lock in.
To Luke Miao, I will you a thorough and complete overhaul through the Pygmalion effect :) (ebk required), and also a sophomore (without a massive ego) (and one that actually showers) that you can actually play ping pong with. In all seriousness though, thank you for being my GOAT for so long and I know u got senior year in the bag.
To Isaac Lee, I will you a world-class skier that takes you helicopter skiing on mount everest and tells you it’s really easy and makes you do really high cortisol things while you run into boulders and feel like you’re dying. But, every time you wipe out, at least he’ll come back to save you and pick you up, right? Thanks for helping me up all those times, but I still feel like you took at least a couple years off my life asking me to come to the top of that mountain. Good luck with your senior year and SSS hard!
To Solomone Somani (splmoan), I will you freedom from LEAD and lots of fun times senior year.
To Avaneesh Sirikonda, I wish you both a slightly higher placement on the tennis team and the table tennis team. Keep up the good work and keep the sibling bloodline going!
To Eric Barajas, Like, if you’re going to skimp on ur work for MAO, at least do it right :/
To Future Mao Senior Board, I will you MAO. Please uphold the legacy and greatness of the largest frat at IMSA! In all seriousness though, it’s one of the clubs at IMSA that I feel genuinely has real impact, so keep working hard and don’t sss as hard as I did…
To the certain sophomores that pronounce their love for seniors in the hallways, I will you future underclassmen that are equally bright and enthusiastic.
To Ian, I will you a great soccer season at IMSA and with Spurs in the Premier League. You were one of my closest Junior friends (and friends in general), and I enjoyed all the days we spent playing soccer or talking. You are also one of the most locked-in people that I know, and I hope that all goes well in your senior year and college applications (come to NU bro). Hit me up if you need someone to talk to about soccer or writing essays for college (or literally anything). I’m going to miss the nights we played soccer at the pitch or in West Gym, but hopefully you guys will still meet up in the off-season. Just know that I’m always a call away, and that I’m still going to be active in the group chat. Hopefully, you score lots of goals and assists in your senior season, and the Spurs qualify for the UCL next season. COYS.
To Advaith, I will you massive gains in the gym and a girlfriend. You are one of the funniest guys I know and am close to—sometimes too close (get a girlfriend dude). I always see you at the gym, and I just know that you are going to be the next Larry Wheels or Mike Hall. You made Gender Studies somewhat fun to go to, and I would not have survived that class without you. You should apply to Northwestern; I’ll chef you something up because I know you like your food. All jokes aside, I love having you as a friend and wish I had gotten to know you sooner.
To Lorenzo, I will you lots of food. Stop eating my food. Jokes aside, you are a really funny guy, and you should genuinely consider joining the soccer team. Without you, B wing this year would have been genuinely unbearable and boring to live in. You are also surprisingly smart and locked in, so try to have more fun in your senior year.
To Lota, Raul, Henry, and Christopher, I will you more fun after 10 check. I loved playing FC with you guys, among other activities (ykwim). You guys were the best underclassmen I could ask for in the wing and made it a whole lot better to live in.
To Adam, I will you a chill pill. You are the only sophomore that I talk to, and although you may have some controversial takes, I find you funny. I see you as a little brother, and I wish I had gotten to know you sooner. Try to enjoy the rest of your time at IMSA without getting suspended.
To Shihan, I will you lots and lots of cardio and conditioning and a good soccer season. You are a great soccer player, and our defense would be nonexistent without you. That being said, you also need some endurance. Hit the gym.
To Oscar, I will you good grades and Man U UCL qualification. You are one of the chillest guys I know. I loved watching and talking about soccer games during E&M with you. You’re one of the most locked-in individuals I know, and I can guarantee that you will get into somewhere good. Hit me up if you need someone to talk to about soccer or writing essays for college.
To Cooper Lee, I will you a relaxing and entertaining SSS. You’re fun to talk to and mess around with at the gym. The hard part is over (junior year), so finish strong and come join Noah and me at NU.
To Matthew, I will you more soccer nights. You are insanely fast and fun to play soccer with. You’re almost done with high school, so lock in and finish strong.
To my underclassmen, I will you all infinitely more moments; little joys to be had, some sanity to make it through the harder years of high school, many restful nights, and love—for others and yourselves. I may not have the best memory, and may not remember every moment we’ve spent together, but know that it was important to a past me, and for that I can never cherish you all enough. I mourn the fact that I’ll never remember things quite the same way they were—all the little jokes slip through my fingers, and all of the quiet moments fade away from me—but the mere fact that I do mourn them means they really, truly, meant something to me. Thank you. I’ll see you all someday.
To my former underclassmen, I will you all good luck wherever you are now, comfort, good community, and the memory of love—from all of us. Many of you will never even get to see these wills, but for the brief while you were here, you made impacts on so many people here. Your presence is still felt, even if you aren’t here. Thank you for giving us the chance to get to know you, if even for a short while. We miss you. Hope you’re doing well.
To my fall show cast, I will you all a functioning gelatinous cube, handmade costumes, heart-to-hearts, growth—as people, actors, and characters, and many more fight scenes to come. It was an honor to be your director—at least, for the while I was. Watching you all flourish, especially the people new to drama, was incredible; something I think I will never feel quite the same way again. The mishaps, the mess-ups; all of it—were truly unique to you. I could not have asked for a better time with one of my favorite plays; you all did it so much justice. Thank you for making my vision come to life. Embrace your weirdness. You’ve helped me embrace mine.
To my spring show cast, I will you all unblistered heels, clean costumes, gallons of grape juice, a coherent tech week, and an even better show weekend. I’ll remember the bonds we made—the stories we shared, the pictures we took, the mutual panic over crappy run-throughs during tech week, the relief when we finally got it right, and the tears left unshed. I’ll remember lending out bandages; clothing freshener; a hand. Keep growing, you’ll make it big someday.
To my underclassmen crew, I will you all more techies, less concussion hazards, stable sets, and silent appreciation. Thanks for sticking around, even through all of the pain and torment and trees and weird platforms and missing props. I’ll miss playing risky tetherball, stripping screws, jamming fingers, and just being with all of you. You all are the backbone of the theater. Without you, what will we have?
To my fellow directors, I will you all many a wonderful learning experience, smooth rehearsals, and a series of extravagant show nights. Oh, and my unfinished director’s notebooks, for research—and to maybe guide you on your way. I could never ask for a better group to direct with. Even if I never got the chance to truly direct with you, I cherish it nonetheless. Thank you for letting me go wild with my ideas.
To the pride rock kids, I will you self-expression, nail polish remover—a lot of it, infinite money for clothes and other notions, and acceptance. You all are so brave and cool and funky and interesting and some of the coolest people I have ever met. I can only hope to admire you all from afar; I won’t be there to see the beautiful people I know you will become. Keep on fighting, rockstars, and never be afraid to love. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your world.
To the french intersession group, I will you many games of undercover, uncrushed macarons, two hundred euros worth of chocolate, anti-homesickness, rapid public transport, and many flights to come. The laughs at our (my) broken french was nothing compared to the hilarity and betrayal of a round of undercover. I know I was a little bit unpleasant those last few days, especially after getting lost at disney, and I don’t hope to be forgiven for that, but know that I cherished every moment I had with you all. Those cramped trains were a little nicer when you had people you recognised and could count on. What I do want is you all to explore; have fun and don’t be afraid to try new things. Keep on adventuring, you never know where you’ll end up.
To my driver’s ed table, I will you encourage-mints, luck on the driving exam, a seven-part anti-distracted-driving series, and safe travels—wherever the world (or your wheels) takes you. The top driver driver’s education handbook with your counties filled in on the front page will always lie on my desk, waiting to be picked up and brought to another tuesday we will never share again. The laughs and weird stories our instructor would share forever echo in that little corner of that history classroom, right next to an empty lifesavers wrapper. You all made that class the one I somehow looked forward to the most those days. Thank you for being stupid with me. I hope to watch more terribly edited driving PSAs with you all one day. And remember, signal, mirror, over-the-shoulder, go.
To my twentieth century table, I will you communist noises, plenty of index notecards, lots of participation, and easy presentations. I was terrified coming into that class for the first time—I’ve always sucked at history here—but having some familiar faces at the table made it all the more bearable. You all have actively helped me become a better student just by being in the right place at the right time. Thank you, for making the world make a little more sense—past or present. Here’s to our ‘tiny section.’
To my french table, I will you finished homework, and a tombstone for your fallen comrade. Freaking out over a test or the structure of the french language as a whole will never be as much fun as it was with you all. Thanks for teaching me new things, both in french and not. I can only hope you’ll be better at french than I ever could be. Have fun in french IV.
To my wing, I will you a clean garbage can, good food, bonding, and calm. Please get some rest, and lay off the caffeine and near-fires in the microwave. I’ll miss you all.
To Zeke, I will you many late night access walks, lots of good music, dr. pepper, cool clothes, and peace. You were one of the people that, just, made me feel normal for a bit. Thanks for including me without even asking, as if it was automatically something you’d do. Even if for only a short while, I forget all of my troubles and obligations, and I can let myself be just a normal high schooler. I cherish you, and I’ll miss you in college. I hope I can walk alongside you again one day, if you’ll have me. Good luck with all of your future endeavors, I know you’ll go far.
To My Radhini, I will you rose syrup, crazy deals on food and dresses, fancy earrings, a rat empire, excitement, eight biophysics cheat sheets, printing access, and a successful career. Thank you for showing me all of the best places around UIC to eat. You truly make me feel included in a way no one else can, even if it’s through odd physical gestures. I can be odd around you, and I can be out-weirded for once! Having someone so fun and interesting to look up to is a true blessing, one that I know—even if the details are fuzzy—will stick with me forever. Everything you’ve done for me, no matter how stupid or tiny or mundane, taught me that it might be okay to be weird sometimes; it’s okay to be me sometimes. I love you. I’ll miss sharing food with you, and asking around for printing access, and nights at the wing commons table, and crying with you. I can’t wait to see what innovations you’ll make; what you’ll bloom into. I hope to be a part of your life as long as you’re willing to let me be. I’ll support you and the others with whatever path you choose; I’ll be right by your side, and I can warn you of the dangers of the road ahead. And I’ll bring you food. Trust. Here’s to many late chicago nights to come.
To My Alex, I will you happiness, good rng for your project sekai pulls, your ideal voice, all of the chinese jelly snacks, the ability to stop crashing out and let yourself unwind for a while, great music, and the motivation to do the things you really want. Life without you in it would be so weird; I don’t think I would even know how to function without one of my best friends. I’m glad I got to nerd out with you, from when I first found your voice on youtube, to talking about my favorite (and your least favorite) character, to listening to new covers, and to having the same mannerisms. There are so many little pieces of you I have picked up—seemingly unconsciously—that are just a part of me now. You are ingrained into the very fiber of my being, and the fact that my brain even lets that happen is something monumental. You have managed to bypass each and every one of my brain’s stupid little defense mechanisms and worm your way deep into my heart. Thanks for your songs. They’re warm; listening to them tethers me a little more to this wonderful, wacky world. Never stop composing with your heart. I love you. Let your petals bloom.
To My Lucy, I will you good fortune in all your casting auditions, many late nights with a full stomach and a show marathon, chappell roan concert tickets, safe drives to target for your white monsters, merch hauls, and fulfillment. And a girlfriend. You have never once made me feel weird or strange or wrong for just existing. I can’t thank you enough for that. Aside from that, as an actor, most people have these big names or actors they look up to. You, Lucy, have been that for me since the day we first performed together. Truly, genuinely, I cannot tell you just how much you have been my drive to improve as both an actor and a director. Every single time I see you on stage I am astonished; how can a person already so breathtaking keep on breaking that glass ceiling? Whether or not you realize it, your actions—on the stage or off—are my biggest inspiration. You and the others are something truly wonderful, and I am so lucky to have met you. You, especially, have changed me in ways I never once thought I deserved. You made me realize that maybe I, too, can have real friends. Thanks for the weekends never spent alone, for being a nerd with me, for being my friend. I love you. See you on the silver screen.
To the world, thank you, for letting me be myself—at least for this little while <3
To Shripranavi Savya, I will you unlimited Tacobell, all the Lary reels possible, and the ability to win scavenger hunts! I remember when we first met during Welcome Week and somehow ended up doing a trust fall together because both of our roommates weren’t there. I had no idea we’d end up getting so close at the time, but I’m glad I decided not to let you fall after all. Thank you for always finding me on I-days and for all the time we spent laughing at the dumbest reels imaginable. You always made everything so much more fun, and I’m really going to miss having my own personal stalker in college. Please never lose your sense of humor and stay exactly the same. I hope you have the best senior year ever and don’t forget about me when you’re famous!
To Aashritha Kukunooru, I will you a working microwave (preferably with a plate), peaceful study sessions, and someone to always listen to your random thoughts. Every time you showed up at my room to heat up your food, we somehow ended up having the nicest conversations. Even if they were short, I always looked forward to them. You have such a comforting and calming presence, thank you for always being so easy to talk to. I’m really going to miss having you spawn in my room and just seeing you around all the time. You always had such a calm energy whenever things got stressful, while I was panicking over something completely unnecessary. You’re so thoughtful and genuinely such a good person to have around. Please never change, and don’t let the senioritis win!
To Kavya Shah, I will you the ability to become best friends with every person you meet within five minutes. You bring so much energy into every room, and somehow you can get along with literally everyone no matter where you are. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen you have an awkward interaction with anyone in your life. I still can’t believe you forgot I posted for prom…even though you commented and liked. Anyways, don’t lose your personality and your ability to make everyone feel included. And if you ever randomly forget I exist, I’m gonna believe it’s just a temporary glitch in your memory and not personal :)
To the 04 C-Wing Sophomores, I will you all a weekly wing buffet. It is kind of crazy to me that you all come onto campus just around 9 months ago and have managed to settle in the pressure cooker that is IMSA. Do not forget to pat yourselves on the back before braving your junior years. Although I probably will not mention all of y’all in this will, just know that I am (and hopefully others) are grateful to have met ya guys.
To Ram Nallamilli, I will you monthly gacha game releases. What is up my “IMSA son,” it has been a crazy ride (at least for me). When I was introduced to you, and then immediately was thrust upon the C Wing tradition of an “IMSA father,” I was a little confused to say the least. Despite all the crazy shit going on in people’s life, you seem to just stay nonchalant. To be fair, we were too busy cooking up shenanigans in Pathfinder (Shout out Caleb) and playing games together. I wish you an uneventful senior year and an absolutely wonderful SSS.
To Vidahn Jain, I will you unlimited sleep. What is up my “IMSA nephew”, how is the sweet sweet lack of sleep going. I am glad we were close during my junior year and I am so glad to see how far you have come. However, please take care of yourself man. I see how much you are sacrificing (frankly everything to be honest) and remember that you do not have to overcommit man. You deserve sleep, you deserve rest, you do not have to go through things alone man. So many people are here for you, so take those hands and get back on your feet. I wish you the ability to take care and advocate for yourself.
To Luke Miao, I will you a hyperbolic time chamber to play tetr.io in. Genuinely, what the heck was this year man. Last year, we were just chill people in C wing playing Wii Tennis and having fun. You witnessed my Comp. Sci crash outs and I was a stupid junior staying up all night. This year, we were brothers in the trenches that is Linear Algebra and MVC. Well they were not actual trenches, they are not that bad (Dr. Fogel please don’t make the final too hard), but I got to see you as a student, not just an underclassmen. Keep up the good work man, you will go somewhere cool or smth like that. Protect your peace and keep your head up! I wish you time to experience life with friends and reflect on your IMSA career.
To Eric Chen, I will you a finally peaceful semester. You are pretty cool dawg. I dunno how you do that. Being on CAB and Sci-Oly, and then being cracked in classes. I could never, I am too much of a bum. I am glad I had a chance to meet you, although I frankly do not know much about you. (In you words, “You just exist”). I know you have lore or smth, but stay nonchalant King! I hope that you continue to support the community in whatever way you can and use your powers of uhhhhh, a certain LEGENDARY dance for good! I wish you for your chillness to spread across IMSA.
To Hari LastNameIDoNotWantToMisspell, I will you infinite Monster and a heart to tank that. ITS. You are genuinely the prime IMSA student. You, YES YOU, represent the student body. Overcaffeinated, President of Anime Club, getting unintentionally called out by Dr. Dong, and having the peak of opinions. You are a wellspring of wisdom, and is best said by a great one, “Let’s Roll,” have inherited several legacies. Hari, may you rise up and make us proud! Or do not, I don’t care. Please keep taking photos of people cutting line, it is so peak, and at least someone is doing something about the line cutting. I wish you to keep your head up and be proud.
To my IMSA Pathfinder Group, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING THE BEST PATHFINDER GROUP OF ALL TIME. GENUINELY CAN NOT SAY THAT ENOUGHT. I WILL YOU A 7.5% TO ROLL A NAT 20. In all seriousness, you guys are genuinely my dream play group. Always excited to play, focused, thinking tactically, focused on combat, and not taking forever to play your turns. Then on top of that, started volunteering to bring food for each other each week! Holy mackerel, yall are so peak. I am glad I have a group of people to share one of my hopefully life-long passions with. Shoutout Charlie Tillotson, Alexander Walker, and Ram Nallamilli, these people are genuinely cool (and a bit nerdy but who cares, we are at a NERD SCHOOL ya know). I wish you all a future of playing ttrpgs or at least other social games. (Owen Larkin, I know you are apart of this, but you are a senior so you do not need a will from me).
To Charlotte and her Pathfinder Group, I will you all another year filled with shenanigans. Charlotte, you joined my home campaign and I am so glad that you had so much fun caring for those puppers (even though I slimed them out muahahah). I had so much fun helping you run your first pathfinder campaign, and you seem to be running it just fine. For the sophomores, please continue sticking with pathfinder, I have a feeling that you all are going to have a great time playing TTRPGS and having shenanigans that are ruled by dice!
To Derrick Xiantao, I will you “umm…BURRRPPP I dunno.” (A genuinely fulfilling life with a family and friends that will support you through any hardship). Remember your first weekend of IMSA, the blackout weekend? I think I was the second senior you talked to and I instantly recognized you as Dylan Xiantao’s little bro. You are his polar opposite except for your goat status. That weekend really showed how much you roll with the flow, and it seems you are on top of the world here. I am glad I am a bum senior that you know, otherwise you would have no buisness knowing me lol. Please continue to be there for others and use your connections. Continue to advance the Xiantao legacy for your little bro to finally take over IMSA. MUAHAHAHHAHAHA. (Say hi to dylan for me). You have grown a lot during your first year, and I am sad I will not be there for the rest.
To Blake and Nathan, I will you all an amazing SSB e-sports career. You guys are everything that I found great about the soul of the IMSA student. The nerdy random hobbies that keep you going. Hopefully that is not crushed junior year, but I am glad I got to see the nerdiness of IMSA is not going away anytime soon. Please continue to nerd about and spend outrageous amounts of time on video-games. Continue to have those silly conversations and continue to play nintendo games! Thanks, and I wish you all a pleasant next two years.
To Marwan, I will you a square large hot meal every single day. You are cool man. Really cool, and have grown a lot this year. I am sad I don’t have more to say, but I frankly have like 2 hours left to write this and I am tired. Please continue to be cool and never send anyone to the IRS again. Also, please continue to be there for others.
To the random people that I have met along the way but do not know enough (or do enough but like have not actually spent much time with) to write an entire paragraph about, I will you all a respawning 20 dollar bill that could pay for any small expense when you need it. This list of people includes, Sofia, Jack, Lucas, Kyle, Bao, Joshua, Tudor, Aarnav, Tyler, Daniel, Nikhil, Sohum, Lin Alg Soph (I forgor your name sorry!), John B., Ethan, so on and so forth. Please yell at me if you want to join this list, although I can not do anything about it.
To Nicholas, I will you a good barber and for Cody too. Excited to hear about the team next year, hope you guys do well. If not, that’s okay too. Fix your knees up and bounce a ball for once. If I was your height I’d get a kill every time. I’m gonna miss you and our cellys. Good luck bud.
To Isaac and Seth Capilli, my potential replacements. Good luck guys. although dealing with our team’s passing is not fun, seeing someone get a kill off my set is the best feeling for me. hope it’s the same for you guys.
To Seth Taukolo, I will you the ability to become an outside. Stop dribbling around bruh! I believe in you becoming the outside.
To Wyatt, I will you more sleep and more appreciation from coach. You’re a good middle, I kinda feel bad I couldn’t set you that well. And put that other sleeve on and be more chalant, I think it suits you more.
To IMSA’s volleyball team as a whole, I hope you guys more wins. Our coaching staff is stacked. All you guys need to do is just pay more attention and pass better. I enjoyed this season very much, and if there were times where i got emotional and said something you guys didn’t like, I’m sorry. The only reason I do it is because I believe in our team.
To Aidan Cheng, gonna miss you buddy. No way we only had mandarin together once. Wish me and you played basketball more often.
To Sree Chitrapu, I will you the absolute best senior year surrounded by people who love and care for you! You are one of the most motivated people I know, so when you get into your dream school CALL ME ASAP and I will visit you in a little over a years time for all the parties!! I also will you NO MORE energy drink (please do not die on me), jewelry that does not break, no more tick bites or broken shoulders, and update me on everything when I am in college!! AND COME VISIT!!
To Lisa Choi, I will you swim captain!!! I know you will lead as successful a team as you were a part of this year- and all-conference placement! I also will you no more broken caps, and the best college decisions (as I know you will get)! I am only a phone call away don’t forget, and update me on everything!
To Jingyan Lu and Callie Lu, I will you only the best experiences at IMSA, best teachers, and personal best time on swim team! Keep in touch!
To Amber Hwang, I will you that PCHEM will go so so smoothly, and every math class to be easier than kindergarten addition. Keep in touch, I know you are going to do such amazing things. I also will you to continue my Mandarin Independent study! 我爱你!
To Shihan Cheng, I will you unlimited LEAD walks and somehow even more SLX worktime. I couldn’t have asked for a better accomplice in “checking in with the other IMPACT rooms”, though you’ll need to find a partner who’s a little more observant than me. But in all seriousness, I’ll miss LEAD way more than I thought I would, only because of our little journeys. I think we both needed these breaks, so I’m forcing you to keep up this tradition and pass along the legacy. Also, get some variety in the questions you ask my guy, I want to hear about the most random things people say they learned in LEAD.
To Kavyaa Naveen, I will you a permanently mystically-clean computer screen. I have lost count of the amount of times I have looked away for literally one second only to find my phone or computer ASSAULTED by your Octobuddy stuck somewhere new. Those smudges are impossible to get off. If anything, I’m actually impressed with all the random ways you find to distract me which is some real dedication. I’ll miss talking to you to procrastinate my work and hope your perfectly clean computer screen will force you to actually lock in senior year.
To the IMSA.ai Board (Aidan, Pranav, Samiha, Ihita, Jishnu, and Aadya), I will you all non-broken or insecure code. You guys were all so quiet at the beginning of the year, but I’m glad we opened up and had such a great year with a few awesome events (I like to think my enthusiasm at each meeting played a role)! Each and every one of you has put so much passion and effort into all your tasks. Hopefully the foundation of IMSA.ai is set and you can hold even larger events and more hackathons next year.
To Nara Feng, I will you a winning 8-person team. You were one of the first sophomores I met and I’m so glad I got to know you as more than just someone who is cracked at math. Keep drawing more cars and send me pictures of each! You’re genuinely one of the kindest, most hardworking people I’ve met here and I’m honestly a bit jealous of how you’re always locked in on whatever you’re doing (even if it’s hurting mole crabs). You deserve a full team with that same dedication and nothing less than to win at ICTM state one more time.
To Kavya Shah, I will you a correct lab, even though you’ve done way better than me with them. It was quite an experience and I’m glad you’re done with it now. You’re a super hard worker and I’m really glad you were able to prepare me for the worst to come the day before this semester. Oh, and I also will you a new Octobuddy that isn’t falling apart. I don’t know what you put this one through but something has got to change. May this next one live a long, healthy, structurally intact life.
To Krithik Senthilkumar, I will you a free schedule and some much needed sleep. Everytime I looked over at you in LEAD you were locked in getting things done while the rest of us did anything but. We had some struggles but we were quite the duo I’d say, especially considering a group in our class actually won at SLX (which I think reflects on just how good of facilitators we are). You’re already a schmen so I hope you give some of that missed time back to yourself next year. I still don’t know how you manage so many things both in and out of school so please SSS. You’ve earned it a few times over!
To Sofiya Patel, I will you a LEAD co as good as me (I know it’s impossible but just go with it for a sec). JK! Thank you for making CORE so fun this year. I remember us thinking our class was gonna be a quiet mess after the first module, but I’m so glad everyone actually talked. Before I got clocked out with SSS, I think together we had the best blend of actually teaching and doing random stuff. Also, I will be manifesting on your behalf that nobody immediately reaches for filler words in public speaking like Nelson. Nothing can live up to your first semester as a LEAD facilitator because of your oh so amazing co, but try to make the most of it!
To Kalyan Cherukuri, I will you the ability to study more than a day in advance and to reach class on time. I don’t know how you do it but I lowkey need you to will me the ability to ace a test without even knowing there was one. AI 2 was a blast purely because of the people we had. I’m honored to share the one class you didn’t have tardies in with you.
Harish is a little too tuff for all of us but you’re a close second.
To Anthony Gundlach, I will you the best of luck on all of your gacha games. May you continue to be an academic weapon and the biggest gamer I know. Never stop wasting time on visual novel games. I also will to you Jared. He has protected 1507 for many years. He has been here longer than us and he will stay here longer than us. You must care for him for a year and then find a worthy underclassman to hand him down to. He must remain in 1507. It is tradition.
To Cinna Davis, I will you the best hair days. May you have no frizz and always have consistent volume, shine, and definition. I hope you see many beautiful birds of all shapes, sizes, and colors, my fellow birdwatcher.
To 1507 and the residents who will live there in the future, I will you the best of luck. I hope that we one day win CLASH. I believe in us.
To Aditi Goyal, I will a lesbian flag, endless spray water bottles, and the most amazing senior year. Even though I know we met through the simple “lil sib” program, somewhere along the way you became a real little sister to me. From all our time in BC3 to every random conversation, you’ve brought so much light and comfort into my life. You are one of the most genuine and loving people I have ever met and are truly the best little sibling I could ever ask for. I’ve honestly learned so much from you about how to be a better person. The way you move through life with so much love for others has changed the way I think about the kind of impact I want to leave on people. You always give your whole heart to every friendship and relationship, and you always show up for the people you love no matter what. Your passion and kindness light up every room, and I hope you never dim that part of yourself. I also know all your hard work will take you so so far, and I am beyond proud of everything you’ve ever accomplished. Even if I don’t say it often, I’m amazed every day to be able to see your growth from sophomore year to now, and consider you one of my favorite people for over two years at IMSA. Although you already know this, my dorm is always open for you, and you have to update me on everything. Love you so much, Aditi. Miss you alr lil sis :).
To Representative Meimei Litowitz, I will you endless gavels and trophies, a closet stuffed with Brandy and Onitsuka Tigers, and the most rewarding year ahead. Truly, Meimei, you are one of the most passionate girls I have ever met. I’ve seen how, in everything you do, not just in debate, but in the relationships you hold close, you always give 100% of yourself. From the distant sophomore I once knew to the confident and empowered girl I know today, I’m so grateful to call you my friend. Watching your growth over the years has been genuinely inspiring, and I know you are bound to reach new heights. Despite the pressure-filled year you’ve had, please know you are so beyond smart and capable, and I have faith that you will succeed in whatever you put your mind to. I’m really proud of the person you’ve become and admire your determination. This is only the beginning for you, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. Also, don’t forget UIUC Halloweekend is calling!!!
To Kate Gossman, Maggie Hirschauer, Ana Ramirez, & Amber Hwang, I will you a quad of sophomores equally as cool as you guys next year in D-wing. You four will always hold a special place in my heart as my D-wing babies, and truly could not be more proud of how far you guys have come. Kate, thank you for always being such a funny and kind soul, never failing to make me smile in our post-10 check debriefs. Maggie, you genuinely bring anyone together, and I love how you’ve always made D-wing feel like home. Amber, you are one of the purest and hardworking souls I know; I hope you understand how much the love you have for others means to the people around you. Ana, you are a ray of sunshine; your light and joy act as an infectious force, and you make any space brighter by being in it. Thank you, guys, for making not just D-wing, but IMSA feel like home.
To Benji Charly, I will you a tub of oranges (for detox and trigger word purposes). But in all honesty, Benji, you are one of the most mature and hardworking people I know. Never let anyone underestimate you, because you are genuinely one of the most capable people I’ve ever met. You’ve always been there for the people around you, and the amount of care you give to the people in your life never goes unnoticed. I hope you realize how many people admire and appreciate that about you. I’m really proud of everything you’ve accomplished, and I know you’re going to continue doing amazing things. Stay in touch, and I’m excited to see what’s coming!
To Sameer Parashar, I will you endless HAHA jokes. Sound and slight have been so fun with you, and you bring great energy to every space you’re in. You make even the most stressful moments feel lighter (esp when I find out there’s a test in physics thinking it’s a quiz), and your humor genuinely makes everything more enjoyable (tung goated). I’ve really appreciated getting to know you, and I hope you never lose that energy and positivity you bring to people around you.
To Girls IN2 STEM Junior Board (Kate, Nysa, Amber, Anushri, Sofiya, Bella), I will you a less packed Google Calendar! Without your help, GIS would never be where it is today. From all the busy planning calls during the summer to the late-night meetings, I’m so grateful to have such a dedicated and passionate board. Specifically to Nysa Bothe and Kate Gossman, thank you for everything you’ve done for our expansion team. I’m eternally grateful for the work and effort you guys have put into making our goals turn into reality. You both have poured yourselves into it, your hearts into the work we’ve done, and I couldn’t be prouder of our team. I’m so so excited to see how GIS can and WILL transform over the next few years. Don’t forget, I’m always here to help out and am just a text away <3!
To Madhu Phrabha, I will you endless supply of wired headphones and grapes. Although we didn't get the chance to hang out often, your energy is always so infectious, and I love how you uplift everyone you are around! You are such a positive light, and it’s really special to see you! Wishing you the best of luck for next year and am excited for all that’s to come!
To Emily Schart, I will you many more Hobama edits. You are always so energetic, and I think you are super sweet. Your energy really stands out, and you make things more fun just by being with me. I’ve always appreciated how kind and positive you are, and I hope you continue bringing that same lightness into everything you do.
To my Modern babies (Imisi, Omo, Sahithi, Jiya, Aashrita, Nancy, Seth, Sahasra, Kelsy), I will you guys more dancing/choreoing opportunities in the future, a less crusty Stunion, and more Modern family Lexington dinners. Thank you for being a part of my modern(s) and trusting me with the vision. I know I crash out a little (a lot) sometimes, but I’m truly grateful for all your participation and hardwork + super proud of our performances. Never stop dancing and I hope to see you on stage next year!
To Imisi, I will you all the ni-ki photocards you can pull. I’m so sad I didn’t talk to you until this year, but I’m glad for all the memories we made. You are such an amazing dancer, seriously, I love seeing you pull off different styles and watching you get even better throughout the year. I’m forever grateful to have you in all the moderns with me. Thank you for dealing with me and Kayleen’s gooning, teaching me the dances I missed in African (like basically all of them), and being such a fun person to talk to. My babyboo, I will actually miss you soooo soo much. I know you are going to do great things next year (both dancing and outside of it), and I’m excited to see you choreo more (I know you’re on that grind already). Trust I will keep sending you enhypen and cdrama edits. But I’m always a text away if you need anything, and you should totally come visit me.
To Jiya, Kate, and Amber, I will you Gfriend + more goated Gfriend juniors like you guys. My Gfriend juniors soon to be seniors and choreos!? I think I got confused reading that…Anyways, I had so much fun with you guys this year and I know you’ll carry on our legacy. Hopefully you will experience an outside (get it…cuz we be outside) night market, but either way, I can’t wait to watch!
To Nancy, I will you Lunar Modern. Not gonna lie, this was one of the hardest things I did senior year, but I also learned so much from the experience and I hope you will too! You were an amazing choreo in Reggaeton + all the other dances you have done, so I know you will do great. Have the best senior year and don’t stress too much, you got this!
To Omo and Seth, I will you more performative-maxxing. To Omo, I hope you keep dancing wherever you go. Your presence on stage is truly incredible, and I hope you keep on dancing, even if it’s not at IMSA. To Seth, thanks for always being a jolly little jit during practices, it’s always fun having you there (even if you weren’t even invited…ahem night market Modern). You have so many culture shows ahead of you and I hope you enjoy every single one of them.
To Sahasra, I will you the least stressful senior year possible and SSSing like me. I’m glad you were able to return my hat before I graduated, because I honestly thought you wouldn’t. Just kidding, but you were super fun to talk to during Modern and LEAD. I enjoyed our dance battle during the IMPACT skit and talking to you about random stuff. I’ll miss you, and I wish you all the best!
To Sahithi, I will you at LEAST one visit from me for a culture show (no promises for more, but I’ll try my best). Sahithi, you are one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and just a ray of sunshine. Every practice, you always had the best attitude and I truly admire how hard you work to perfect your dancing. Make the most out of the rest of your IMSA career, and keep dancing forever and ever and everrr.
To Amber, I will you all the Laufey songs. My Little Miss choreo buddy, I’m gonna miss you. Thanks for being such a goated underclassman. I always enjoy our conversations, whether it was the first time I really talked to you during GIS last year or lowkey crashing out about drill. I just know you will be an amazing senior next year, and I hope everything goes well for you!
To Kate, I will you 06 drill. You have to carry on the legacy now that we’re all gone :’) Kate, you are such a talented dancer and fun person to talk to. I’m so glad I got to experience 06 drill with you the last two years (especially witnessing your aerials, wow). Hopefully, you won’t have to roll around in the C wing floors and choreo using the tiniest mirror again, but it was definitely a fun memory!
To Sofiya, I will you a cute grey baby tee (can’t steal mine anymore). You’re always so jolly to have around in C wing. I wish we could’ve danced together more, but I applaud you for being super locked in (I think?). We still need to make a dancing video before I graduate. I’m gonna miss you <3
To my junior choreos, I hope you continue to choreo drill (no matter what hall you’re in) because you are crazy good at it. Thanks for taking over when me and Mahima are crashing out and contributing your ideas. I’m so proud of the final product and a large part of it was because of you guys. Have the best senior year and enjoy your last clash!
To future Girls Who Code board (Bella, Nysa, Sofia, Amita, Eva), I will you enthusiastic general members and the ability to make coffee/hot chocolate for your events. To my incoming seniors, thank you for all the work you have done this year, you guys are truly the best juniors I could’ve asked for on Girls Who Code, and I’m excited to see what you do next.
To my LEAD COs Sofia and Alison, I will you a cooperative LEAD class and awesome junior COs next year. To Alison and Shihan, I will you more doudizhu wins and a third person to play with now that I’m gone.
To Shihan (Octavio) and Matthew (Mateo), I will you zafa to the IMSA fuku and your own digi pics. To Matthew, thanks for being goated in bob and spanish, I probably would have 10 more missing assignments if you didn’t remind me. Enjoy senior year and SSS!
To Benji, I will you first mod off so you can sleep in instead of being chronically late to Neuro Comp. I do not appreciate you clipping me when I nap, but thanks for always asking Mohan for breakfast breaks. I wish you all the best!
To Cayden, I will you a better sister (creds to Julia). I’m just joking, but you were a goated LEAD student and hard worker. I know you will do great things in the future!
To Eric Barajas, I will you the ability to stay off your phone, if only just for like 15 minutes. I’m sure that there is a certain person who will be able to keep you in check, so I’m not too worried about that. I think we both know that you have a lot of potential, and I feel like you’ve probably been told that a little too many times at this point. I know you’re getting pulled down by all those dopaminic distractions, but I also know that you’re truly trying your best to get out of it. That’s why I hope you can be happy with yourself, because I genuinely do want to see you that way. From all of the stupid things you kept doing at our BC3 table(things I still smile to when I think about them), to that one time we called overnight to finish AdTop homework 3, to me pestering you about that Ross application, I’ve kind of grown to like you a little. Of course, not in that way, but still. And I don’t know if this is just bias, but I like you a little too much to see you beat yourself up over being as you say a “lazy chud” or whatever. I hope you remember that even when you get slimed out by your academics that you’re still a good student, and an amazing lil kid. And if you ever do figure out the secret to solving procrastination, please hit me up. I’ll be in Illinois if you need me.
To Cassius Amegashie-Caref, I will you an 05 that continues to care. We had the privilege of a sophomore intake that cared about having fun even if it didn’t mean something on a college application. I hope you can have that too. It might be a difficult environment to foster, especially since I think it’s been getting worse with each passing year, but I think you have the ability to do it. As long as you remain energetic, I’m sure you can get all the sophomores you want to follow you in whatever shenanigans the hall decides to participate in.
To Akhil Nandakumar, I will you the ability to stay away from 05B13.
To Andrew Sun, I will you a better SIR next year. Thanks for being a caring friend who also managed to make time to drop some of the funniest statements I’ve heard.
To Joa Ji, I will you lil “Logic”, but i’m not sure if he’s mine to give. (Obscuring the name because of, as Atharv phrases, the “powerhouse”)
To Sahana Vijayaraj, I will you the best experience you can possibly have at Ross. By the way please join quiz bowl.
To Ethan Chang, I will you success in the Masonic comp math bonuses. You were pretty shy when I first interacted with you as a sophomore, but I’m glad you warmed up to me and the rest of the team as time went on. As another person in the intersection between math team and quiz bowl, I also hope that those practices don’t interfere with each other too much. It also means that I hope you can do better than I did when it came to the 3/3 math on IHSA, but I’m sure the rest of the underclassmen can cover for that too. If you ever want me to feed you my favorite pieces of stock for the category, I’ll be more than happy to help.
To Adam Park, I will you the ability to grind for SciOly captain as a senior. I know it’s pretty demoralizing to have gotten screwed like that, especially when it feels like the whole school is against you, but I hope you can find it within yourself to keep going for it even when the odds are stacked against you. You’re a really hard worker, so don’t let the opinions of some strange people up in leadership tell you what you can be. I’ll be rooting for you.
To Luke Miao, I will you and the other guy another excellent year of IR. I hope you realize that you’ve genuinely made a lot of people happy, and I’m sure you can keep doing it during your last year. Even past all of the jokes, you’re actually pretty nice of a person, and I kind of regret not getting to know you more during my time here.
To Aarnav Jain, I will you more elite study sessions in the hotel rooms for quiz bowl next year. I also will you the 4/4 of the ACF distro and the 7/7 of the IHSA distro that we share, although I think you probably have that down already. I can’t lie, almost every single one of the memories I have with you has involved some incident whose mention would get my will removed from The Acronym, but that kind of made you pretty fun to be around. Even when it feels silly to say, all the stupid things we did with the team is kind of what made it enjoyable. No matter if I touch a buzzer again, I’m never forgetting the two bonus parts we worked together to steal from Stevenson, all the analysis we did on that voice call to successfully predict what would show up in IHSA State, and the horribly broken promise that we’d make 24/28. But I’m also not forgetting those questionable shenanigans you were pulling with that one article, or just the strange things you did at Qwiz Camp. Even if you were just being a clown, I hope you realize that you made a lot of us happy. From one IMSA science stock-knower to another, I’m hoping you can mature when it comes time to assume the quiz bowl captaincy. But if you can’t, at least you’re still whimsical, and honestly I think that’s pretty cool already. save our souls
To Dhruv Ravinuthala, I will you confidence. I know you’ve had plenty of downs and not enough ups to compensate this year. But even with all that, you still manage to have the ambition to overload your schedule with a lot of things, from fighting Ms. Dowling to take BC to all those commitments you have. Even though I know you haven’t had the best experience socially, I hope you can find a solid friend group to settle down with at some point. At the very least, when you do end up leaving this place, you’ll get a fresh start in college.
To Sonit Sahoo, I will you success in making the ARG.
To Albert Pavlovic, I will you the ability to continue being whimsical, even when you’re being stressed out by the college apps. I expect the freezer in whatever wing you end up in to contain a frozen glove, or whatever strange thing you dream up with just because you thought it would be funny to have there. Honestly, it’s just kind of nice to have a reminder that people still kind of care about having fun, even when it feels like I’m incapable of doing it. Even though you’re trying to “lock in” on your academics, I hope you don’t get too worked up with yourself over it and remember to always remember who you really are, or something. (I don’t know what I’m saying, as of writing this I am quite tired)
To Kaustubh Bukkapatnam, I will you good luck on writing your college essays. While I have many objections with your #1 extracurricular and the fact that it’s infringing on your academics, I do admire the work ethic you’ve shown ever since what happened with SciOly and stuff. Even though the rest of IMSA likes to put on a masquerade of a moral high ground, they still made you a social outcast and it’s honestly kind of satisfying to see you make a comeback.
But also, you really need to get some sleep. I don’t think all those papers are worth your health, or your happiness, even if you like writing them. Having to sleep in class probably isn’t too good for your college apps either. You can write papers all you want when you grow up, in fact I would assume that it ends up literally becoming your job. You only ever get one shot at high school, which are supposed to be the best years of our lives. So please, let yourself have fun, participate in a few events, and when it’s all finished, please finally have some proper sleep.
To Advait Kamath, I will you the ability to name 5 books. Macbeth doesn’t count, by the way. Neither does the Munkres Topology textbook. To be fair, I think both of us know that by the end, the whole being bad at English thing was to some extent ragebait. I feel like you do have the ability to improve at English, and all the mockery from everyone else probably isn’t helping(my fault), and you just need to try a little. You managed to lock in a little for your Ross essays(although it seemed to be a weird chimerization of you Tiwari and Karthik), and even though you didn’t end up ultimately succeeding, at least you showed that you can still write well if you put your mind to it. Maybe someday, you can finally put a few skill points into the barley(sic) invested in humanities, but if not, I’d be more than happy to help you with your essays whenever you need it. Just hit me up and don’t feel bad.
To Mack Lee, I will you a baby sophomore of your own. I can’t lie, I thought you were someone’s lost little brother when I first saw Jacob bring you into the wing. I guess I was kind of right–you were my lil sib after all. I bragged about it a little to my friends. I didn’t think too much of it at the time. Looking back, that’s why I find it a little surprising that you ended up making my day better when I saw you in both MVC and DiffEQ. It was a little strange sharing a math class with my lil sib, but it started making sense by the end. I know I probably wasn’t the best influence on you during the school year–with how much you saw me sleep in class or turn in homework late, but I hope it didn’t affect you too badly. Because you’re honestly pretty unlucky when it comes to this sort of thing. The seniors I had two years ago were more respectable than I was, they were people I could confidently look up to as people who had everything together. But with me as a senior, as much as my ego would hate to admit it, you helped me out more than I helped you. It was admittedly a little strange hearing you care about whether or not I was okay sometimes when I fell asleep when we were supposed to be doing our MVC homework. You shouldn’t need to care about all that, you’re a kid with your own problems, but I’m glad you did. In the end, I don’t know if this was a facade or just how you were, but your stubborn persistence to remain cheerful and sweet even when things weren’t going so well dragged me through that crazy senior year. I know that sounds weird, but that was the best way I could say it.
Maybe someday, you can get a baby sophomore of your own to be a bad influence to. But until then, I guess you’re still stuck with me. For better or worse.
To Vedant Sedhurasan, I will you a fruitful relationship with Pranshu Nautiyal. I hope you stay in quiz bowl, because we absolutely need someone to cover for history now that Jeev is gone. As Hari’s descendant and what it looks to be his “adopted little brother”, I’m looking forward to seeing what you can accomplish together on the same team. Good luck at HSNCT!
To Hariharan Ananthakrishnan, I will you a nap. Even if you think you don’t “deserve” it. We’ve seen how sleep deprivation is kind of romanticized at IMSA, and I’m not going to claim not to have been a part of that, but I feel like it needs to be addressed. I’m not trying to preach some type of advice to you because I don’t think I have the right to, I just hope you don’t screw over your body just to prove that you’re trying. It’s honestly kind of hard to watch. I know you’re trying, people know you’re trying, and even if you turn a blind eye to it all of us can tell except for maybe like 2 or 3 people. Because you really do have accomplishments. You managed to go from barely matching me on quiz bowl in your own category your freshman year, to completely surpassing me to become IMSA’s number two as a junior. You managed to get into Dr Dong’s SIR, and even if you aren’t actually doing anything over there at least you managed to put on a pretty good show about it. You managed to make Ms. Townsend turn her chair around Captain America style. I’m not going to pretend that you never failed, but even if you don’t want to believe me, I think you have a lot of things to maybe be proud of. Maybe if enough people keep telling you, you might start to believe it. And even if you don’t, I hope you can at least forgive yourself a little. You’re about to be a senior, and you’ll regret for a lifetime if you don’t make the most of it. After all, we’re stupid high school teenagers with our own stupid little emotional needs (and our own painfully average sleep requirements) and you’re just robbing yourself if you don’t let yourself live a little. Once the academics are over, I hope you can embrace that. Maybe then, you can finally get that eight hours that your body has been begging you for.
genuinely please go to sleep i’m on my knees begging rn
To IMSA QB, I will you another year of destroying W*ubonsie Valley “High School” and an IHSA state title. I will admit, I haven’t been very involved with you guys because of the whole procrastination crisis thing. I also admit I haven’t done as well as I should have, and that for many of the underclassmen I probably stole a bit of A team time that should have been going to you all. Losing Jeev is going to be quite the hit, but I’m sure the underclassmen can step up to fulfill his place. Honestly, if you guys manage to lock in, I won’t be too surprised if I hear of you guys making it all the way in one of the state tournaments. I just hope that you guys can all continue to strategize your way into a bunch more wins next year, whether it be substitution spam during Masonic or trying to analyze the content of the IHSA packets. Good luck everyone, I’m sure you won’t need it though
To 1505 (underclassmen), I will you that Clash of the Halls title that we were so disgracefully robbed of this year. You guys probably won’t get a better artist than Vishnu Vijay, although I’m not really sure how much they care about quality so I guess we’ll all be fine. Jokes aside, with all the apathy at IMSA, I’m glad that all of you guys have continued to care about not only Clash but about making each other happy. Even though it was a little rocky at times, we still ended up having a ton of fun. I’m not really sure what’s going on with all the Gemini generated images in the chat, but as long as people are having it, then I’m glad that people still have the capacity to make memes for the group chat. You guys are amazing, and I can’t wait to see what weird things you end up brewing up for the hall culture next year.
Finally, to Tudor Chicos specifically, I will you a very, very, happy birthday.
To Alison Fung, I will to you lots of sleep and a fulfilling senior year. I know you will go somewhere amazing and do great things. Try not to overcommit too hard!! I just know the next time I run into you in Boston you’ll be enrolled at MIT instead of on a tour. If you do head that way, let Rusha and I know and we’ll have a mini 06A reunion on the east coast.
To the Alma Latina underclassmen, I will to you all hope that we get the full budget that we request one year, especially if we keep requesting 10k+. Trust I’ll be lurking on the Instagram to see what events and casa themes yall come up with, although I probably won’t be able to fly cross country to come back and see the show in person unfortunately. I also will to you all my Chilean flag, because I’ve officially given up hope of ever getting that one back from storage. All of you have grown as leaders and as people through your time on board, and it’s been an honor to see the professionals you’ve all become. Vero especially, you’ve got big shoes to fill but I have total 100% confidence that you are capable of keeping our momentum going. All of you juniors have been such fun to work with and get to know! And sophs, while I might not have been as active at the end of this year and interacted with yall less trust I still have noticed all of your hard work. Keep doing great things and being the “big dogs” on campus!
To Anoushka Ragan, I will to you success with your campaigns, and the chance to one day meet Zohran Mamdani. I’m still not really sure what gubernatorial things you actually do, but I know you will make real positive change in the world! If you run for president, you’ll have my vote.
To Dania Cureno and Co. / 1507 Juniors, I will to all of you a lovely senior year and a more exciting hall culture. Your friendship has been so fun to watch from afar and you all kept 07 from being completely socially deserted to me. You all make me feel like a campus celebrity whenever I walk out into the commons and see you all hard at work (or goofing off). Your positivity and laughter keep that otherwise dead hall alive!
To Noe Escobar, I will to you the responsibility of keeping Alma lit. Next years’ independence day and afterparty functions will be even better than this year’s–maybe even rivaling my sophomore year–with you in charge. You’ve grown a lot and I can’t wait to see what Alma looks like next year with Vero and you leading! Just don’t forget to do your delegated tasks lol.
Mithil Shah; I will you my eye cream. You have also been a sight for sore eyes.
Soham Manna; I leave you with authority over Maneth Perera in our team’s chat. May you tolerate his aggression.
Ian Wang; You can have my soccer ball. I hurt my self practicing :(.
Tanush Shastry; A linkedin connection request.
To Lucas He, I will you all the luck and happiness in the world. You truly deserve it. You’ve been through thick and thin, and ever since we roomed for IASC, you’ve been a brother to me. Since then, it has been a pleasure getting to know you this year as a member of C wing. Also text me more often. Like seriously, the last time you texted me was a month ago.
To Eric Chen, I will you strength and courage beyond all measure. I’m proud to call you one of my best friends. I really want you to know how much I appreciate you and all that you’ve done for me in the past and even now. You are one of the few people in my life that I look up to and strive to be a better person for. Never lose sight of who you are and stay true to who you are.
To Bao Luong, I will you perfect timings and no lighting glitches during the culture shows. It has been an honor getting to know you and watching you grow from the moments I first met you while helping you move in. I know I haven’t been able to spend as much time around you this year, and I hope you’re giving Kevin a hard ti– I mean being nice to him. Keep being the young, talented, and bright individual you are. Till next time kiddo.
To Charlie Tillotson, I will you the ability to watch all of the Simpsons in German instantaneously. Although that may be somewhat tortuous rather than helpful, thank you for being someone I can trust within the RSL group, a funny and delightful peer in German III, and above all else a close friend. Good luck with college apps, and now that I think about it, I should’ve willed you polarized prescription RayBans because your future is extremely bright.
To Hariharan Ananthakrishnan, I will you an infinite supply of energy drinks. Sleep is a figment of our imagination, and we gotta keep it that way. Thanks for being there for me, from giving me advice, joining me on walks, and just hearing me out as I go on tangents. Continue to be you and work hard, because you the real GOAT.
To Ram Nallamilli, I will you the ability to dance. Ever since I first met you, you’ve been a wonderful friend and wingmate. Keep being the chill guy you are, but don’t be afraid to step out into the spotlight every once in a while. Hopefully someone will let you into C wing next year.
To Derrick Xianto, I will you self-love. You’re one of the kindest and diligent sophomores I have met this year. You’re there for every one of us in C wing, and from the first time I met you and you called me short (keep in mind you fully were a foot shorter than me), I knew you would become someone I can genuinely depend upon. Thank you for restoring my faith in your class and in the future of IMSA. You’ll do great things in life, just don’t beat yourself too much on your way there.
To Cassius Amegashie-Caref and Maximiliano Vazquez, I will you both a humorous and joyous senior year. This year has had many ups and downs, and through it all, I can always rely on the two of you for a good laugh or a listening ear. I’ll miss being able to see you guys dominate Clash and drills.
To Chloe Feng, I will you the powers of the Dragon Warrior (not that you don’t already have them Po- I mean Chloe). I’m sure you’ve heard this a lot by now, but junior year will be the most trying of times both academically and socially. Regardless of what happens, don’t lose yourself as you go through those struggles. Keep being the wonderful (and somewhat dense) person you are. It’ll work out. Trust.
To Soham Manna, I will you infinite aura. Keep being the kind and hardworking person you are.
To the rest of Baby CAB, I will you courage, knowledge, and fortitude. Not that you don’t already have these traits, as you all are talented individuals. Being on CAB is one of the most trying and rewarding experiences of your IMSA journey. Good luck and say goodbye to having free time or a life ;)
To Junior CAB, I will you a pleasant year with no major complications or controversies. This year has been quite the chaotic one, and more times than I would like to admit I didn’t know if we’d actually be able to pull it off. With that, good luck with senior year, stay strong, stay hopeful, and most of all, keep it “Intentional”.
To Isaac Lee, I will you more fire fits. Getting to know you this year has been a pleasure, and I am eternally grateful for your anime recommendations!
To Aidan Chang, I will you the indomitable spirit of C wing. I’ve never really said this to you before, but I truly do look up to you and aspire to become more like you.
To Vidhan Jain, I will you peace and more than 3 hours of sleep. I know that may have changed since you last told me, and so have you. Regardless, I hope you realize how much you’ve grown from who you were your sophomore year. Don’t lose heart or mind during your time here, and don’t check out too early.
To Benas Stonys, I will you better dad jokes and a minute off of your PR. I know I’ve only gotten to know you over this brief time we’ve had in Ad Chem, but you’re truly someone I can depend on (and not just for chem help). Keep working hard, brother.
To Gurleen Kaur, I will you two inches in height. The world needs less rug wrinkles and more tripping hazards. Jokes aside, good luck with your future endeavors kid.
To John Blomberg, I will you AP-grade knowledge of German. You’re good at the language and should continue practicing it. Thank you for letting me get the chance to get to know you both in and out of the classroom. You’re truly a great guy. Tschüss!
To everyone else not mentioned above, I will you my optimism (possibly scratched, dented, occasionally irrational and radiation poisoned, but still functioning). Thank you for helping make my time here at IMSA, much more enjoyable, memorable, and bearable. Feel free to reach out to me whenever possible, and I’ll try my best to respond as soon as I can. Never lose hope or sight of the remarkable potential within yourselves.
To my dearest little sib Dominic Zhu, I will you an excellent junior year with no stress and a dominating alpha attitude. You are too nice to everybody! Be more COMMANDING. More AGGRESSIVE. Jk you’re perfect just how you are!!
To Noé Escobar and Omo Ohiku, I will a nice (people and smelling) wing next year. We’ve been through enough trials and tribulations tbh.
To Isaac Lee, I will my purple swag glasses. Boy are you lucky you had me to save your sorry bum in modern physics and pretty much every other class here!! You’re loads of fun to be around and I’m glad I met a hanguk saram as rockin as you. You’ve become my disciple and shifu will pass his knowledge and secrets onward with you. Don’t forget to call me baby booooooo!! SARANGHAE!
To Kavyaa Naveen, I will 5 inches of my height. You are in sore need of some after all! Although you are minute in size and I still misplace my microscope and can’t find you every now and then, I’m glad my roommate has such a wonderful cousin to keep him company (when he can see you of course). I’m not surprised that Harish’s bloodline carries yet another amazing person!
To Benjamin Charly, I will the ability to know when enough cologne is enough and some Tamil lessons. You can never sit still, wrestle me and my roommate without our consent, and speak the WORST Tamil to ever grace anyone’s ears and yet you are quite the interesting person to be around. You’re always doing something and don’t lose that energy senior year.
To Alison Fung, I will a wonderful co-chair who she is currently lacking. Good luck with IMPACT because you are gonna need it!! I loved having you in my LEAD class and generally quite a pleasure to be around when you’re not ridiculing me.
To Ian Wang, I will a month’s wisdom. Never forget how much more smart, nonchalant, fine, cute, tall, friendly, likable, interesting, hot, nice, intelligent, intelligent, intelligent, (did I mention intelligent??) I am than you!!!! You’re pretty much my sibling and I’m glad we got close. If you need help on anything which you inevitably will being the bumbling buffoon you are you have the privilege of texting me.
To Pranav Gadde, I will new carpooling partners. Must suck losing such an interesting car mate! Well now you’re going to be stuck with the tiny little sophomore that is Kiki Vijay (my brother). You might be older than me but I’m going off to college and you’re stuck here so think about that. HA!
To Aditi Goyal, I will the ability to open your eyes in a picture. Please try to stay away from the sophomores please please please!! Genuinely I have had too much fun hanging out with you and making that one stupid Spanish video that didn’t even get you any credit. I hope you cook up senior year and I know you will!!
To Sahasra Janagama, I will my impeccable dancing ability. Man, you have such a hard time dancing that I have to give you all of mine for you to be decent. What a hard sight to see on stage. JK of course you tear up that stage every time! You better keep dancing and be in modern when I come back to see Diwali next year. If not I’ll just boycott you. HAVE FUN!
To Sujana Janakaraj, I will a fine Tamil man (not me). You will find love some day! It might be far away but there is light at the tunnel somewhere. In all seriousness thank you for being a great part of South Indian for both years I was choreo and you helped so much! Good luck senior year !!
To Atharv Kanchi, Ian Wang, and Krithik Senthilkumar, I will a computer science job. After being part of peer tutor web dev with you three, you’re definitely going to need some help being employed. You three make an impeccable team and I’m sure you’ll continue helping IMSA’s CS department by developing something new!
To Veeksha Karra, I will a nicer attitude. Every time I talk to you you be giving me sass of some sort. Good luck on CAB and make sure CLASH ISN’T COOKED NEXT YEAR!!!
To Sujana Janakaraj and Solomone Somani, I will a good year of LEAD SocEnt next year. You have a lot of work ahead of you, but you’re going to do great!!! You got this betas!
To Henry Maginel, I will a buzz cut. I think you would look great with one. You’re a goofy no-good troublemaking rascal but a funny one so it’s excusable. I’m glad I met you!
To Shirley Ning, I will a wonderful LEAD class next year. Of course no co will be able to beat someone as MAGNANIMOUS and WONDERFUL as ME but I’m sure you will find someone close. Your LEAD class next year will cook!!
To Olivia Pan, I will energy drinks that keep you awake through second mod. You definitely need those the way you’re always nodding off during Mod Phys. I’m glad we met each other through Mod Phys and I think we always have fun together so that’s that!!
To Mihir and Sameer Parashar, I will my impeccable fashion sense. You both could not be more different from each other but it was fun getting to know you both! Mihir stop being nonchalant and Sameer stop being chalant. It’s like yin and yang!! Learn from each other frfr.
To Matthew Park, I will my 20/20 vision. I don’t even have 20/20 vision but I’m still gifting mine to you because compared to you I might as well have 20/20 vision. I swear I see atoms through your glasses. Every time I get bored during stats I can watch Dr. Trainor through your glasses because your glasses allow people to see through objects. It’s kinda a super power ngl! You’re lots of fun and goofy but it was great getting to know you this year. Keep watching those atoms man :)
To Madhulata Prabha, I will the llama from the Mental Health Lounge. I know I whacked you with it when you were healing from a piercing and you got mad at me so this is my sorry gift. It’s super clean and sanitized and disease free and everything!! I think you’ll love it. Jokes aside I like hanging out with you other than when you burst into spontaneous song and shatter my eardrums. I’ll come see you in a capella or something with Nidhi!
To Amit Prakash, I will the ability to stop staring at me. I don’t know what is going on but every time I see you in the hallway you are staring. Stop that. >:(
To Krisha Patel, I will my awesome paper quilling skills. Use them wisely for you are in DESPERATE NEED of them. Jk you are so much better at quilling than I am hehe. I’m sure you’ll find great junior friends next year as good as you have been a friend to me!
To Kavya Shah, I will another five inches of my height. I swear sometimes I genuinely cannot find you. Thank you for carrying me through BioPhys because I don’t think I would have survived without you. Don’t crash out next year choreoing and have fun senior year!!
To Anika Sheela, I will a competent ISA merch designer. You’re gonna have a hard time finding someone as talented as ME but good luck with that!!! I’m sure ISA merch will be great next year and I’ll make my brother buy some and support you. GOOD LUCK!!
To Aadarsh Sivaraman, I will yet another five inches of my height and some common sense. I know what kind of man you are- I’ve got my eyes on you. My tiny little brother will follow you around and report back to me. You’re a funny guy and I have fun around you so keep being yourself!
To Natalie Trinh, I will some more brainrottedness. I don’t think you’re brainrotted enough and I think you’d benefit from being on your phone more so you could catch some more of these references. We had fun in reggaeton and your energy is contagious keep rocking and sockin!!
To Nancy Shi, I will some quantum knowledge. You’ll never know if its there or not until you measure it fr. We had a crap ton of fun in mod phys and I think I would have died if you weren’t in my class. You did great as a choreo of Reggaeton and keep choreoing next year!!
To Sofiya Patel, I will the rightful heavenly punishment for being IMSA Super Soakers. I know I was onto you from DAY ONE and I know for a fact that it’s you! It’s definitely you! ITS YOU! Jokes aside you’re a funny joyful whimsical presence to be around and everybody loves you for a reason. Keep being yourself and cook up senior year!!
To Derrick Xianto, I will the ability to resist pyramid schemes. The first time you started yapping about pyramid schemes in my LEAD class I swear I was scared for my life. But you turned out fine and I’m sure you will be able to use your superb social skills for some good at IMSA. College is a long way away for you and have fun in the time you have!!
To my semester one LEAD class (Alison Fung, Devika Kalavagunta, Dweny Geeth, Ihita Gupta, Jameson Jones, Jiya Chaurasia, Kavya Shah, Noé Escobar, Sahasra Janagama, and Tyra Church) I will you that stupid picture of me looking like a chipmunk when I had my wisdom teeth removed. May you have many more laughs together and I loved you guys like my own siblings :)) Genuinely we had so much fun playing mafia and yelling at each other to the point where Carissa had to come check on us to make sure we’re not dying!! I’ll miss you all so much.
To my semester two LEAD class (Ana Ramírez, Aubrey Hulseberg, Carly Pfeiffer, Cristian Solorio, Joshua Lemke, Larry Yang, Lota Onwuameze, Madeline Aquino, Melissa Donkor, Noé Escobar, Omo Ohiku, and Teagen Fry) I will you a working business. I think we were a little fried second semester but who isn’t anyways?? I hope you all keep cooking up senior year you can do it!!
To Nara Feng, I will you the Math Team and ISP. I remember first talking to you in the booth right after the transition of power, and you nicknaming me Mrs. President and Kelsie Mr. President. Wild way to start. From there to the math team and later just hanging around Ac Pit randomly, it’s been a pleasure to get to know you. Also, stop skipping Scientific Illustrations. I hope you have a relaxed senior year, which I know I’m not a great example of, but don’t take after me, please! Don’t overwork yourself, and don’t crash out about ISP. I hope you place even higher during ICTM next year (20/20 on pre-calc trust!), and I hope you have a lot of fun doing ISP work!
To Cameron Kubera, I will you ISP and all its craziness. It’s been a great pleasure being able to work with you on the exec board this year, and I hope you keep up the great work. I hope you can be a great role model for future ISP boards, and never stop thinking about all those crazy ideas you had for ISP. Good luck with ISPorts as well! Best of luck for your senior year!
To my Itty Bitty Baby ISP Cab, Juliene Calago, Cristian Solorio, Isa Li, Cameron Kubera, and Nara Feng, I will you stress-free culture shows and perfectly working technology all the time. I will you a cabinet full of video and photo cameras, and a cart that is always full of SD cards. I hope that you all have as much as possible while you run the club, and I wish you the best of luck! There will be times that everything may feel like it’s up in flames, but I know you guys are more than competent enough to deal with it. As always, keep doing cool stuff.
To the rest of the ISP Board, I will you more personal projects. You are all filled with creativity, and I hope you can use ISP to show off all those skills. Please figure out how to hold more events… Also, please don’t tick off security. Also, talk to Bill and Lori! They are amazing people, and can definitely help you out with any ISP/ITMC questions you may have.
To my future ninja heads, Ram Nallamilli and Avery Lau, I will you a quiet backstage and four culture shows of fun and good food while skipping the line. You both were great to work with, and I hope that you both maintain that sense of responsibility even in your senior year. Ram, keep looking out for others, and Avery, keep being the responsible stage-right cue-er (I dunno if that’s right) that you are. The gossip and info I’ve learned while sitting with you guys backstage or during the post-culture show dinners will never be forgotten. I wish you both the best of luck in all things IMSA-related.
To Kavya Shah, I will you a stress-free senior year. Every time I have talked to you this year, it’s some crashout about some class. First Biophysics and now Adchem. Regardless, I wish that your senior year is filled with fewer stress-inducing classes and that you can enjoy your final year at IMSA without needing to debrief a diabolical test for hours on end.
To Soham Batra, I will you a good math table. It’s been great getting to know you over discrete math, and you are one of the funniest juniors I know, though you can get a lil hyper at times. Lock in for your senior year. I also will you some G-fuel, so you won’t have to knock on someone’s room at 1 in the morning to get some. And I will you a clean wing… You know why.
To Dhruv Ravinthula, I will you the livestream room. Though I know you already got it, your livestream skills are great, and it was great living in the same wing during my junior year. Wishing you all the best with your future endeavours!
To the Spanish 5 Juniors, Octavio (Shihan Cheng), Mateo (Matthew Park), Eric Chen, George Welson, Atharv Kanchi, Lucas He, Lily Kwak, Medha Veerathu, and Lizi Shao, I will you, uhhh, a senior year without a language class? It was so much fun being in the same class as all of you, and crashing out about Profe, and Oscar Wao, and all the CYODOM stuff. The 8-point CYODOM looks like it’ll be so much fun (at the time of writing this, we just started work on it), and I can’t wait to see how it turns out! Octavio, thank you for becoming the life of the class after Evan dropped lol. Atharv, George, and Lily, it was great working on the Trujillo project with you all (the sugarcane field was beautiful imo). To Eric, thank you for being the responsible junior leader of the class. I wish you all the best with senior year and beyond!
To Aashritha and Pranavi, I will you some great card games and a year without Ad-Chem. If it weren’t for you two putting Dhivija onto card games, the Ac Pit would’ve had a much quieter SSS. Aashritha, I also will you a lot of yarn and some stitch markers. The crochet intersession was so much fun, and thanks a lot for teaching me the basics! Pranavi, I will you some random junior who’ll pop up around your friend group, because that was what you were for me lol. Jk, but it was great to see you around the Ac Pit area. Wish you both all the best.
And to anyone I missed, thank you regardless, and know that you probably had a greater impact on my senior year than you think. I’m writing this kind of last-minute, so if I forgot you, please take no offense. I will you all a great senior year, an SSS schedule, and your dream college admissions.
To my fellow Science Olympiad captains, Sasha, Eric, and Avery: I will you the best next season in Science Olympiad. I am continually impressed with how dedicated you are to the team and everything you guys do outside of IMSA. Your work ethic and ambition is such an inspiration to your fellow captains and the rest of the team, and I know you guys are going to be successful in whatever you plan to do in life. I hope you continue your level of enthusiasm in next year’s Science Olympiad, and I will make sure to stay updated with how you all do!

I’m so excited for you all and I’m sure I will see you doing great things in your next year or two at IMSA!

I have had a great time getting to know all of you and seeing you progress in your leadership and presenting skills during my time in LEAD. To my students from last year, I am so impressed by the progress you have made at IMSA. And to my students from this year, all of you are so smart, with unique interests and strengths. I hope that you use your talents to their full potential at IMSA and beyond, and I can’t wait to see what you decide to do in the future. Although it may have been boring at times, I hope you guys enjoyed getting to know your fellow peers and upperclassmen. Good luck to all of you!
