Humans of IMSA: Kevin Engstrom (’16)

What’s your favorite class at IMSA?

Kevin Engstrom’s favorite class at IMSA is Object Oriented Programming (OOP). The class opened up his eyes to the wonders of programming. When Kevin was little, he was always fascinated by the many elaborate games and functions that exist on the computer- “How do you even program this?” he always wondered. However, now that he’s taken OOP, the mysteries of programming have been uncovered, and his awe for programming has only increased.

When asked for advice on taking OOP, Kevin replied, “you should really get involved with the programs, try something that interests you!” In the future, he plans on majoring in Computer Science and hopes to create a small video game with turn-based battles.
